Hey everyone! Week 3 of my babies and they look beautiful! 💪 So far I've noticed these issues: - The girl on the back seems to be growing slightly slower compared to one closer to the camera. Maybe it's the lights? - That same girl grew with one of the leaves broken or something like that, which looks interesting! But, what could've caused it? I checked the leaves and there was nothing! - The girl on the front had one leaf tip slightly broken! Perhaps some slight over fertilization or something? - Both girls have some small patches with different colors in one of their leaves. But besides what I mentioned, everything looks well! I also took a timelapse this week! Anyway, see you all next week with the next update! 😍

June 21st - they are doing great with the newa ac unit. temps are saying around 25-26. They are just growing away. I decided this week I would swap there nutrients for transition to flower. I watered them today with the first mix of the recommended transition to flower. June 22nd - Still growing away, they seem to be picking up growth quite a bit now! June 23rd - Starting to explode with growth! Everything looks healthy. I have turned the lights up to about 85% now. Gave them a feeding today, again with the transition to flower recommendation. June 24th - Still growing like crazy. They are on a 12/12 schedule and it looks like they're on there way to flower! Junes 25th - Lots of growth in the last 5 days. They have perked up a ton, grown a ton of fan leafs and its almost time to do some more lst or defoliation. Gave them another feeding today. I have decided to just feed with every watering as it is the manufactures recommendation. June 26th - Took the girls out and did some LST on them again as they were starting to become pretty uneven. Unfortunately I only took pictures/videos of the one plant. You can definitely see the growth since the start of this week. They seem to be getting pretty dry by the morning so I have been feeding roughly every 24-36 hours making sure not to overwater. June 27th -They popped back up overnight and are just growing away. Another watering today. Roughly 3L per plant. Again making sure not to overwater.

Setted up this cutting of Skywalker. Having some initial problems with air and humidity. Hopefully is going to rain soon so humidity will rise a bit. Planning to do some LST and ScrOG. I'm helped by a friend because my skills are not good enough yet. Let me know if you liked the sequences! I'm trying to do some timelapse research as well. Raspberry is running the timelapse and compiling the video I'm trying to update every day or two. 😷7/12 Changed water due nutrients deposit. Clean start as the roots have touched the water. EC 1.5 Ph 6.2 😵Ps. light was set with VEG and BLOOM BOTH ON! Lol, hopefully this is the 5th day 😂

Removed the damaged leaves and topped 4 of the plants. One of them is looking really light green/yellow-ish. That plant also has some weird growth, some deformed leaves and hardly any branching. The others are fine. Tried using some of my 12 years expired Canna Terra Vega.

Welcome back once again to my DWC tutorial for beginners like Me. As this grow is drawing to an end I decided that this week I'll run back thru the topics I previously discussed for a bit of revision . Firstly I'll mention the plants progress. The Blue cheese auto is almost ready to pick , The calyxes are swelling and the trichomes are mostly clouded now with a few amber. I will let her run thru until monday the 9th before starting the flushing process with some flawless finish. This go for aprox 2 days and then I'll just run her on plain water until the end of week 7 Unless She's ready before then She's Drinking nutes still and I've dosed her up with the last of the liquid guano concentrate . Now for some revision of what we have already discussed . *Week 1* I showed how to make some bubble buckets with full instructions and pictures *Week 2 *Was all about water chemistry and that Cannabis prefers to be in a range from 5.5 - 6.5 when growing in hydroponics *Week 3* Was about the importance of keeping your tds and ph meters calibrated and working properly *Week 4* All about nutrient mixing and how to prepare a nutrient solution *Week 5* was all about how the plant contracted rust fungus and how over the coarse of just one week and the use of sulfur I overcame the issue and the plant won *Week 6* Was the weekly care guide for new growers Basically explaining the care you must provide from day to day to keep the plant healthy *Week 7* Was all about the optimum environment and conditions your plants will need to thrive We discussed the use of fans etc to keep the grow area cool etc *Week 8* Pests and diseases that can attack your plants we discuss the ways to combat this *Week 9* No tutorial just a full plant update with pics *Week 10* was about nutrient problems and deficiencies how to read what your plants are telling you and how to either prevent or fix any problems *Week 11* was about the plants trichomes and how to tell when the optimum harvest times by watching their development. Ideally you want them Clouded with a few amber . but this will differ from user to user and from strain to strain. *Week 12* was a revision of the previous weeks and next week will be the final plant pics before harvest . Thanks heaps to those who have been following this diary so far and I hope I have managed to help someone along the way

Last week of the grow. Checking deep in the plant, it has around 20-25% amber trichomes. I decided it was time to cut it and free up the rest of the tent to get ready to flower.

Finally received a couple of humidifiers to test from the local shop. These shitty low cost humidifiers will not really do, I can only have them on non stop until the water runs out. If I connect them to a sensor that switches them off, it won't go back on because it doesn't have a mechanical switch, I have to press on each time. Still, let's see if this helps my poor dry leafs a little bit

Week 6 Flower Report: Maturation in Full Swing! 🌟 Welcome to the week where the magic of maturation takes center stage! 🌟 The garden has reached a pivotal moment as the trichomes are bursting with potential. Each one a glittering universe, they are the undeniable stars of this show, taking over every surface with their frosty brilliance. ✨ Watching them evolve is like witnessing art being created in real time – it’s a reminder of the beauty and patience this craft demands. Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! We’ve also added a timing twist: • Reds & UV start 15 minutes before whites to simulate sunrise. • Reds & UV finish 15 minutes after whites to mimic sunset, creating a more natural light transition. These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden. Nutrition: Balanced and Boosted We’ve stuck with the tried-and-true nutrient mix this week but with some strategic adjustments: • Removed Breaking Powder to focus on trichome maturity. • Introduced K-Boost at 0.5 ml/L, giving the plants the potassium edge they need to pack on weight and enhance terpene production. • Feeding solution details: • pH: 6.2 • TDS: 755 ppm • Temp: 20.6°C In the Autopots, the medium stays perfectly hydrated at 100% with: • TDS: 580 ppm • Temp: 22.2°C Shoutouts and Gratitude A huge shoutout to the amazing genetics and these incredible ladies, and a big thanks to Trol Master, Aptus Holland and Pro Mix for the stellar products that are elevating this grow to new heights! 🌱💪 To all growers out there, remember: Patience is the secret ingredient. Watch, learn, and trust the process – the results will always amaze you. Here’s to another week of growth and gratitude. This is final harvest week in the growroom Plants are coming down all around me. As always I strip the plants down and put them back under the lights for a few days then I cut them down a hang them by the toes until around 20% humidity which is still a little wet but I like to start the sweating early so it slows the drying down a little and starts the cure Thanks for stopping by and for following along with me on another grow... * ***************** Week 3 of Growth From Seed, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********************** * Started the head scratching more this week and wondering what is going on with the slower growth she has experienced the last 4 days or so. She is looking good and not dark....environment is good.....what the heck is the pH so high when been given feed well inline and below 6.0......why runoff numbers in low 7's so early in the run?? A number of heavy feedings this week so that I can read the runoff numbers for her. Going to keep staying the course with feeding but lower the pH because she is still progressing and its still pretty early in the run........not much veg time for an auto though so I need to get this figured out pretty soon. Gave her some Epsom salts this week as well as I have been battling Magnesium deficiency the last run or two. Always just used CalMag but I don't think the girls always want as much Calcium as they are given this way though. Fed at a rate of 1tsp/gal in a two litre feed early on in the week. Little more Detail........... Apr 25/20, Day 15 - 500ml feed - VitaThrive and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 6.0pH - small feed of base nute to try and perk her up. - noticed the lower leaves are droopy while the upper leaves are perky still. - Still working on dialing the light for these girls as they are happier at 30" away from canopy. Apr 26/20 - Day 16 - 500ml feed - AN Sensi Cal @ 1.5ml, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/gal - 700ppm and 6.0pH - The Epsom Salt alone shot the ppm to 500 - Only have the veg switch on for the UnitFarm light. - feeling some of the other girls are showing some magnesium deficiency with the yellowing perimeter of the leaves. Apr 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - Cut slits in the bottom of the bag today to let more water out, more quickly when feeding. - Wondering if the root zone is staying too wet and therefore causing some stunted growth. - She has been falling a sleep too early in the day so either too much light or getting root bound? Apr 28/20 - Day 18 - needing some runoff numbers to see what the hell is going on - fed 3L - Piranha @ 1ml, VooDoo @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - going in was 575ppm and 5.3pH - runoff numbers were 1450ppm and 6.9pH - WTF......bring it down......next feed at only 500ppm and 5.0pH to lower her?? - leaf colour is perfect. Stems are a little immature yet, but side branching is coming out stronger. Apr 29/20 - Day 19 - 8L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 325ppm and 5.0pH - runoff after the watering was 500ppm and 7.0pH - WTF.....expected it to be more in the 6.5pH range and not that high still? - KK looked worse off, still droopy, after this than the other girls did. Lack of oxygen in root zone with so much water? Its coco though shouldn't be for too long. Apr 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - KK likes it a little dryer in her medium.....she perked up more today and looking a lot better. - She has had more vertical growth the last day and she is spacing out some of her nodes. - Her stem is thicker and she is getting stronger. - Still a week behind though in my opinion and they should have been this size a week ago. Apr 31/20 - Day 21 - dry out day - she has done very well the last two days and going to keep riding that wave, didn't water today. - She has certainly gotten taller and wider.......getting her back on track? That will wrap up this puzzling week........pH is not staying low after being brought down......shoots back up over 7 in only 24 hours idea. Working on it Growmies. Have a great week and thanks for checking out the girls🙏👌

Did a little cleaning up the bottom this week and I am loving this plant! She’s my favorite of the two fast flowering photos I am running— just a healthy stunning plant! Started with bloom nutes this week and she is truly a fast flowering photo! I usually see these results on week three/four and it’s week 2! ✌️🏻💚
