Switched to flowering this week (Nov. 1) and of course drained, cleaned and refilled the reservoir buckets with the flowering nutrient solution. Cleaning this week indicated more growth on the interior surfaces than normal so I also did a full H2O2 (3%) clean, with a good rinse afterwards. Also ran the air stone in a cleaning cycle for a few minutes. You can see that the discoloration from last week is gone, thankfully. Keeping the pH in check though I did let it slip with a few days in between readings there. Thankfully no substantial effect. I'm not sure I love the overall geometry of the plant... but it's healthy and has a decent number of colas forming so that's all that counts. Compared to the chilled and recirculated water system I used last time around, this is MUCH easier. My reservoir temps are a bit higher than I'd like but the Hydroguard is doing it's job and no issues so far. Fingers crossed it stays this way. Thanks for reading growmieverse.

This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. -mom- So I had a tiny problem with my plant (the mom). pests. this is the problem I have with soil. tiny little cuntz. I don't know their name. tbh not interested. I've had them before. they suck the sap from leaves leaving tiny lighter spots (check vid if interested) so I gave an aggressive foliar spray. then I watched a movie, smoked some bowls and fell asleep before washing residue. the lights came on and before I was even awake the light was burning spots on my leaves. I was kinda bummed out. it's not serious, I know she will recover so I wasn't too worried but one never likes to see plants with problems. to me personally the eyesore physically hurts. plus this could have been avoided so it annoys even more. the good news is no more pests. I can't see them and the new leaves don't have the tell tale sign these suckers leave. all good today I went to water her and first pistils. I was kinda expecting that to happen since days are getting shorter (13.5 hours of wich only about 3 are DIRECT sunlight) but I was also hoping she would hold off for another week at least since I still don't have real estate for her under the lights. I'mma hold off 4 or 5 days and put her and her clones under the light so they can flower out in style. nature calls one must oblige. Besides I don't like when plants flower and reveg and reflower. all kinds of weirdness happens, messes up their structure. -clones- I cut 2 clones and stuck 'em in same 3" rockwool cube. I had never done so but I only had room for the one pot. I did so because I only had 4 weeks to veg something out to replace the ak47 that flowered and I dripped off in the woods (didn't abandoned her, I still go and cater to her needs every 3 days) so I needed a plant fast and thought two plants in one pot would dramatically save veg time and I might just make it) my idea was to simulate a mainline but each clone would be half of a traditional mainline shooting 4 tops each. unfortunately one of the clones rooted much quicker and it screwed up the simmetry I was after. Now I'm thinking maybe one side will have 6 tops and the other 4. I'm pushing it a bit hopefully I won't regret this decision since I'm very limited in the grow space I have. one has to be resourceful in dealing with such problem. Apart from that clones are doing great. vigorous growth and just beautiful foliage. in 2 or 3 days I'll step them up into a new home. a 20 liter fabric pot. can't wait to see her flowers and experience the aroma she has to offer. Salut les amis 🍁 Aujourd'hui je viens vous poser la troisième semaine de floraison. La gouria cookies est toujours aussi énervé on voit bien sa forme sa dominance apicale. La strawberry est différente plus petit buissons mais avec beaucoup plus de sites de bourgeons en deux semaines la strawberry a énormément gonflé en volume et en créations. Je suis pressé des semaines à venir ❤️🍁

They have jumped again in height quite a bit this week; they are big plants to say the least. Each plant is approximately 5 ft (60inches) tall (2 are a little taller than that) and they are all about 4 ft (48inches) wide. They drink like horses do! I didn’t expect these plants to fill out their 10 gallon pots so quickly, but they are pretty well root bound. All in all these ladies are doing pretty well; this week I gave them a 70/30 mix of Gaia greens all purpose and power bloom, amongst a few other Gaia green products to boost phosphate and potassium, and continue to supplement with advanced nutrients additives once a week. I defoliated this week; and actually got quite violent with them to try to allow some more light to penetrate the canopy; you wouldn’t even know it 😑 Slowly they are changing their growth patterns; we are also loosing daylight in my hemisphere at the rate of about 2.5 minutes a day, hopefully that helps continue to ease them comfortably into flower 🌺

The plats are not been trained, defoliated or anything, grown naturally. I’m blown away how fast this plants are growing. First time outdoors and the experience is very nice, I love the fact it requires little to no effort, in the setup I have chosen. As it is raining a lot, I’m using only a dry amendment I have built to use on them periodically, this way I’m not adding more liquids to the root system that is already highly saturated, essentially I’m using the following recipe update, I don’t know if it is correct but I live it all mixed. Use about a table spoon and a half every 15 days. - Azomite 500g - Natural fosfate 500g - Biochar 1kg - Bokashi 1kg -Kelp meal 500g -Mamona meal 1kg -chicken meal 1kg -Potassium silicate 500g -Gypsum farm 500g -Diatomaceous earth 500g -Bunny guano 300g -Bat guano 1kg -Oyster shell powder 1kg -Cow blood meal 1kg -Cow bones powder meal 1kg. -Wormcastings, spare use not in the mix. The plants are showing good coloring, no fade and no deficiencies, the green is not to deep, nor too light. As the leafs are taking a lot of water and strong sun and wind, the leafs are feeling a bit. As the wind is high since day 1 the stems are very resistant, strong. The Fastberry Is on the smaller size if compared to the other plants, together with the Banana purple punch, then we have the Bluedream and the CBD crack on the larger sizes thriving a lot, I expect to approach the end of flowed in a few weeks, the girls are very fast indeed. I’m looking forward to collect the fruits :)

It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍. The buds are getting thicker and thicker and already smell very good :-). The time has come when she no longer puts her strength into growth but into the flowers :-). It was poured 3 times this week with 1.2 l each time. When watering, there was 1 g of GHSC enhancer per liter of water as every 2 weeks 👍. Of course, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled. The complete filter system was also checked again. I filled the tank with fresh osmosis water for the coming week. I wish you all a nice week. Day 28: Happy days folks. hope we are all well and sane still. This week has been a good week for node stacking and starting her frost making it seems. She is a great size to work with now and has responded well to the stripping out of the lower larf and leaf. The airflow is perfect below decks now and allows air to move through the whole canopy and also light to make it through. Her buds are showing her Gelato 41 genetics with their appearance and are identical to the white flame like pistils. She is giving a slight terpene of sweetness and a little diesel too. Her stripping out had my fingers feeling a nice tacky , oily feel to them so she is certainly starting to nurture the budlets. Their golfball appearance is swelling daily and seeing how lose they are to joining up already , holds hope for some long chunky colas. She is approx 3ft now and a good circumference to her too. It is a safe assumption to think she will go the full 11 weeks flowering based on her parentage. The cross of these two strains is so far producing a perfect sized plant for my room and has given me the confidence to dabble in this area in the future I think. Gorilla Zkittelz/Blue Gelato41 is a good X and I know from another seed popped by a friend that Gelato41/Hulkberry creates a 5ft cola'ed monster plant. ( pic in my photos) and I still have crosses of Gelato41 and Cookie Kush , Gelato41 and Phantom O.g , Gelato41 and Orange Sherbet to run !!. I am fortunate to have a lot of these new beans now but I also have some amazing sponsored genetics running and some exciting testers still to do ( 9 more fast flowering strains to put through the wringer and try to identify !.lol) . Well that's another week down and only 7 to go for her. !!!!!!! she has a lot of big stacking buds growing time left. WATCH THIS SPACE !!!!!. Be safe people.

Although I've just trimmed 2 big plants, and this one will be an undertaking for certain! Lovely big, fat, frosty buds! What's not to love?! Que pasa familia, vamos con la segunda semana de floración de estas Tropicana poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas seleccionadas fueron trasplantadas a su maceta definitiva, ya superaron el shock por el trasplante, estas semanas las paremos todas a floración. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia.
