She’s thriving confidently in her super soil blend, nourished solely with pH-balanced tap water, and showing no signs of slowing down. Her foliage has become lush and expansive, acting like solar panels eagerly soaking in every bit of light they can capture between the clouds. New growth is vigorous, and the pre-flowering signs are now clearly taking shape, promising a smooth transition into full bloom. The top node is beginning to stack, and those early pistils are spreading — a sure sign she’s enjoying her environment. Although nighttime temperatures have dipped, she’s been strong enough to remain outdoors under the open sky. To protect her from the sneaky slug patrol, I’ve elevated her above ground level — a small tactic, but one that keeps her canopy untouched and flourishing. At one point she even took a tumble from her pedestal and bent slightly under the pressure. Another healthy week

This week I only watered the plants as needed due to planting them in the Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. From what I've been told and read I don't believe I "need" to feed them for at least 3-4 weeks but I will watch them closely. Some explosive growth this week! I'm super excited to see 2 of them take off. The third is quite a fighter! I won't give up on her if she won't quit! I'm already having to rethink how I will dry the first 2 plants as the third one will be at least a week, if not 2, behind... I think! I'd love to hear from those who have had an autoflower go through a hard first 3 weeks of sprouting! If you watch the time lapse videos it will help to zoom in a little more and you can see them dance pretty nicely! Here's to health and growth!! Cheers!!

10/15 Same stuff, just keeping it stable is all I'm trying to do. Update 10/18 - Heat was ridiculous this week, had to turn one or more light features off, for example, turned off the HPS -AND- the LED circuit on the Phlizon on the hottest day because inside the tent it was like 91 degrees F. Yeah it may not be the perfect environment, but look at the growth from the 15th til today. Major flowering happening, unless I am tripping. I see a lot more healthy growth now, which in my opinion means the transplant idea was SO WORTH IT. I see a lot of crystals forming now and the tops the leaves are turning more white that I could hav imagined -- with two more weeks at least to go, I think I may have some bomb flowers if I dont fuck anything up. Northern light to the left in video has more to go and is not as far along as the Vanilla Frosting. 10/20 Added some new nutes for the last two weeks of flower, bubbling like a madman wanting this grow to finish. White Widow (three plants outdoors) will probably finish in the tent, its just really in stasis but it is getting some frosting of its own. BTW when I smelled the flowers yesterday I was blown away by how awesome they smell, like seriously boutique top shelf aromas going on, this is my first grow indoors and really the first time I have been able to give the attention and care these babies need. I have learned SO much. Especially about stuff I was clueless about before. Like which lights are good. What tent size to get. Ph, nutes, watering, relative humidity, cloning... all new stuff. I have become a better gardener as a result and my 200 sq ft community garden plot is doing way better and I expect next year to be bonkers because I really get the whole ecosystem thing now and how mycorrhizae helps everything. Coming along well, Day 43 Flower, I've dimmed the lights 10% using a Kill*A*Watt meter. Nutrient wise I've changed it up for the final stretch, to the gallon of 180ppm city tap water, I've reduced Maxibloom to 1/2 teaspoon, I've began adding 1/4 teaspoon KoolBloom powder and 2-3 teaspoons of Diamond Nectar Humic Acids. I don't need to add ph up or down as this mixture puts my ph @ 6.3, EC is currently 1.7. each plant receives a minimum of 1 gallon per day, more often they receive a gallon and a quarter or half, applied with a garden sprayer a quart or 1/2 gallon at a time throughout the day, usually about every 3 hours. I keep about an inch of water in the trays below the plants, roots have penetrated the bottoms of the pots and are in the nutrient solution below-I drain this off completely every 2-3 days to keep it fresh-I've followed this routine many times before with no ill effect, as a matter of fact the plants seem to thrive even more-so I stopped fighting it.

Donutz Final Report - Harvest Week After just over 8 weeks of flowering, the Donutz have been harvested, marking the end of an incredible journey. The plants have gone from vibrant, healthy beings to dense, sticky buds that will soon be ready for consumption. Key Updates: Harvest Time: After monitoring the trichomes closely, it was time to harvest the Donutz plants. The buds had reached their peak maturity, with trichomes showing a perfect mix of cloudy and amber hues. Final Observations: The purple phenos added some amazing color to the grow, and the smell was out of this world, like a sweet bakery in full swing. The buds are looking promising, and now it’s time to cure and enjoy the fruits of this beautiful grow. Next Steps: Harvest & Cure: The buds are drying and will soon be placed into jars to cure. It’s now a waiting game to allow the flavors and potency to develop fully. Smoke & Harvest Review: The official harvest and smoke review will be coming in about 10 days, once the buds have been properly cured. Purple Haze A is becoming exactly that. Growing under the same Future of Grow LED, receiving the same PPFD, sharing the exact nutrient recipe, environmental conditions and care as every other plant inside the tent, she has decided to express herself in a completely different way. Instead of remaining compact, she has embraced her sativa heritage and is already showing the elegant structure Purple Haze is famous for. Longer internodes. Large healthy fan leaves. Fast vertical growth. Strong side branching. Exactly the characteristics we hoped to see. This diary is part of my ongoing 12/12 From Seed Challenge, documenting every step exactly as it happens. No shortcuts, no hidden techniques—just honest observations from a home grower enjoying the journey one day at a time. ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 Development This week was all about preparing for the next big milestone. Purple Haze continued building an exceptionally strong root system while producing vigorous new shoots across every node. The leaves are deep green, beautifully flat and reaching toward the light, showing excellent nutrient uptake and a very healthy metabolism. Stem thickness has increased noticeably, giving plenty of confidence that she’ll easily support future flower production. The spacing between branches also makes her an excellent candidate for training later, allowing light to penetrate naturally through the canopy. Sometimes you can already tell a plant has personality long before flowers appear. This one certainly does. ⸻ 🚿 Time for AutoPot This week also marks another exciting step. Purple Haze A will soon become one of the plants running on my AutoPot system. Since every plant in this project receives identical lighting, nutrients and environmental conditions, this creates a great opportunity to observe one important variable: Top watering versus gravity-fed irrigation. Rather than trying to prove one method is universally better, I simply enjoy comparing different growing styles under the same conditions and documenting the results honestly. That is one of the things I love most about this hobby. Every grow teaches something new. ⸻ 💧 What is an AutoPot? For anyone discovering these diaries for the first time, AutoPots are a completely passive irrigation system. There are: ❌ No pumps ❌ No electricity ❌ No timers Instead, everything works using gravity. A nutrient reservoir sits slightly higher than the pots, allowing the solution to flow naturally through the tubing. Inside each tray sits the heart of the system: The AquaValve The AquaValve is an ingenious little mechanical valve. When the tray becomes empty, the valve opens and allows fresh nutrient solution to flow in. Once the tray reaches the correct water level, the valve automatically closes. The plant then drinks exactly what it wants. Only after the tray is empty again does the cycle repeat. Because the substrate experiences a natural wet-dry rhythm while always having nutrients available when needed, roots tend to develop extremely well. Healthy roots often translate into healthier plants. At least, that has been my experience. ⸻ 🌿 Why I Enjoy Growing with AutoPots Every grower eventually finds methods that simply fit their style. Day 56 Shes fucked.. ahah but its my fault i think for giving that bit of top watering that one time. But oh well shes going to be ran again and im sure she will still give me a bit of smoke.

Week 6 of flower - again, I prefer to call it the end of week 7 because this chick is mere days from done. She's a straight fuck'n enigma to be honest. Earlier in the week I was sure she was gett'n the knife on the weekend. Now I'm almost positive I can push a little more outta her. She's fading out beautifully now but the trichs are sooooo close to our harvest wheelhouse. General uniformity in cloudiness throughout, little amber on the tops and some racy mirrored trichs on the underbelly👌. Swapped the res. and we'll top off on plain water moving forward to the full finish I think. I expect this to be the last update before the chop. We were hoping for a well-rounded basketball and ended up with a warped beachball monster👌. She's squat and the buds start from literally the base of the plant. Gonna go out on a limb and guess min. 4oz. at this point. Dense resinous beast💪. Not long now ya'll. Tip 'O The Week This weeks bullshit is about pick'n ur spot when it comes time to harvest. Some folks like their weed racy and heart palpatation inducing, others like it sedative and ..... ahhh fuck it. I’m way too high to be soapboxing right now. Summary: Wait until she’s done and then get the scissors out!👍. Background From Exotic Seeds, Herz OG is a 4th gen. Cross of GG4 and black lemon autos, crossed again with a photo Herz OG mother. Supposedly piney, honey and woody tones with a calm relaxing effect. Just what the lady of the house ordered. She’ll be straight DWC like the rest. 2 weeks on the drip line and depending on how they all do, this may be the girl that stays under the Spider Farmers for the duration. My first go with Exotic so no idea what we’re in for. Let’s hope she’s a beast🤞. Plant is growing well. First 2 sets of leaves had deformities so had me worrying but another growmies from here told me totally normal for first set of leaves today I have started using biobizz bio grow feed following the feed chart of 2ml per litre of water the only thing I am struggling is how much should I water my plant currently watering 100ml - 170ml. Per 5 days But other than that she seems to be growing nice and healthy. And strong I was advised to tilt my fan towards my plants a little to help with oxygen and to help stiffen stems ! So I have done that I am wondering when I should start low stress her And is she the right size for her age

Not much to say at the minute but Candyman is looking happy, I really hope they are female now 🤞🏻 added a small amount of Nutrients and already seems to be loving it and getting bigger daily 😍

Didn't realise my syntetic nutriton had so bad NPK for flowering (3-5-7) so my biggest girl got some nitrogen toxicity (dark and shiny leaves). This resulted in creating small and compact buds and slowing down the growth. Therefore i went back to my biobizz (organic) with better NPK (altho' still not optimal ratio). On the third and smallest Zkittlez i cut of the lowest 2 nodes during this week to promote some stress and therefore some seeds, she will produce max 20-25gram of dry weed anyways (maybe naive, but hey why not). Never actually smelled the terpenes of this lineage (grape) and yeah... I would use this as my perfume if possible. Really makes it rewarding to grow your own stuff. - 12L air-pot with 15% perlite - X6 COB LED Full Spectrum (303.5W±5%) Good vibes 🙏

This week was good..the ladies are in better health overall. Did some defoliating throughout the week and also did a flush 3 days ago with florakleen.gave em a light feeding today.Just finished setting the timer.
