Aug 22: she is flowering strongly and starting to smell. Still using the 730 nm far red light at dusk (Civil Twilight at timeanddate.com for my latitude) which gets a few minutes earlier each night. Between the red light bloom booster, force flowering starting in July, the UV lights, and these Plagron nutrients, the flowers are developing fast and thick on all the plants. So far so good. Aug 27: have had great weather this week. Also had the UV lights going at least during midday. AC Infinity UV lights are for indoor use but they are usable outdoor if you ignore their lawyer’s warning.

Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A | Week 3 The Awkward Start Is Officially Behind Her Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Each phenotype receives its own diary so development can be followed independently, allowing subtle differences in structure, vigor, and expression to reveal themselves over time. This week marked one of the most significant environmental changes since the project began. The lighting intensity was increased from approximately 370 µmol/m²/s PPFD to 700 µmol/m²/s PPFD at canopy level. Rather than easing into the increase slowly, the decision was made to provide the plants with a much stronger light source and observe their response carefully. The result? They loved it. Alongside the increase in light intensity, feeding volumes and nutrient strength were also adjusted to support the accelerating growth rate. If you’ve been following this diary since germination, you’ll remember that this phenotype showed a few odd characteristics during its earliest days. The first leaves arrived with a slightly unusual appearance and briefly raised some questions about how she would develop. Fast forward to Week 3 and those concerns feel very distant. The new growth is absolutely beautiful. Leaf structure has normalized completely, color is rich and healthy, and the overall plant has developed into a compact, vigorous young specimen with excellent symmetry throughout the canopy. One of the first things that stands out is the internodal spacing. Despite the substantial increase in PPFD, the plant continues to stack nodes tightly, creating a dense structure that suggests strong genetic vigor and efficient use of the available light. Rather than stretching upward, she is focusing her energy on building a solid framework. Looking closely at the canopy, the branching is already beginning to establish itself naturally. Side shoots are emerging confidently and there is a clear sense that this plant is preparing for the next stage of development rather than simply adding height. At this point she is already pushing into the seventh to eighth node range, which is impressive considering the timeline and the 12/12-from-seed approach being used throughout the project. The foliage itself is another highlight. Large, healthy fan leaves radiate outward from the center of the plant, creating a broad solar panel that is capturing every available photon. Color remains a lush, vibrant green from top to bottom, with no signs of stress despite the environmental changes introduced this week. The newest growth is particularly exciting. The central growth tip is expanding rapidly and showing the kind of vigor that makes a grower eager to check on the plant every day. There is a feeling that this phenotype is only beginning to reveal what it has planned. For now, she sits comfortably among the stronger performers in the room, combining healthy structure, excellent color, strong branching, and compact growth habits into a very promising package. Most importantly, she simply looks happy. And happy plants tend to tell the best stories. ⸻ Looking Ahead The coming week should be very revealing. With the root zone continuing to expand, nutrient levels increased, and lighting now operating at a much higher intensity, the pace of development is expected to accelerate noticeably. I attached the screens to the pots. Did some defoliation and LST to the plants to make it fit. Set the light to 40% strength with a distance of 60 cm. I didnt think about the poles of the tent, so its not fitting perfectly, but i will fix that tomorrow! 13-3 Temps: 17.6 to 21.2 degrees Humidity: 56% to 64% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana Auto is doing well, she is almost done stretching and I have almost fully transitioned her to flower nutrients. She is currently getting silica, cal mag, and 75/25 veg and flower nute mixture of GH maxigrow/maxibloom. I did change the Medic grow spectrum to the F1 spectrum this week which is the flower spectrum. I am also running the UV/IR bar for about 75 minutes every day before lights off, and I now have the light cranked up to 100%. I will also increase the exposure to the UV/IR light as flower progresses. As she is almost done stretching, there is not much to do this week except keep the reservoir clean, full, and in the proper PH range. If any colas get crazy higher than the others I will correct, but other than that she can do her thing from here on out. I realy love this amazing purple strain, amazing smell of strawberries...Strawberry Fields Forever xD=)) I got 21 grams because use 2 gal pot, and in outdoor daylight is 12-11.8 hours. I will grow indoor too.

So I don't know how to help her. She has big stress becouse of temperature...

No4 (feeded wit biobizz) causes a lot of problems and needs a lot of attention...started with Ca deficiency...after this came toxicity of nitrogen and now some Mg deficiency...but the grow is very good. Same strain in Pot No2 in super living soil is doing good...grows a little slower but I have zero work and zero problems there. So far I would prefer living soil in the future. But let see what happens for the rest of the grow. Increasing light to 650-700 micromol/m2/s in week 5 (for No2, No3 and No4) was a bad idea...decreased to 500-550 now the vitality is coming back

What an amazing girls this 2 are, gave them a “mass” defoliation and lollipoping and they love it 😍 i know people say dont do defoliating on autos , this and that , bla bla bla , they love it, you just need to pay attention to them and give them the love you fell they need. This week I noticed I overdid it a bit with the fertilizer, so I just watered it. I also noticed that this lamp in a 60x60 can't be too close as per the manual, but you have to keep them at least 60cm apart (at least in my case) to avoid damage or light stress. As for the rest, I have to say it's doing well! 😍
