🌸 Week 5 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The RollerCoaster Haze girls are thriving in mid-flower, building structure and stacking buds at an incredible pace. Both phenos are stretching into the canopy with strength, white pistils everywhere, and flower sites developing beautifully. The plants are balanced, vibrant, and showing no signs of stress, just healthy, determined growth. 💧 Nutrition & Feeding This week we’ve adjusted the recipe, stopping the All-in-One Liquid completely as the soil and pellets still provide plenty of slow-release nutrition. The focus now is on a lean, targeted bloom feed, keeping the roots active without oversaturating. Current recipe (all at 1ml/L): • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs steady at pH 6.0–6.1 with EC balanced to complement the soil’s reserves. Environment • Soil Temp: ~24°C • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa Airflow, extraction, and monitoring keep the conditions stable. Despite the size of these girls, they’re handling the environment perfectly. 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ICL300 This week I want to highlight the role of the ICL300 inner canopy lights. These lights are designed to deliver light where traditional overhead fixtures can’t: deep inside the canopy. Why does this matter? • As plants stretch and leaves overlap, the lower branches and bud sites often receive far less light. Without supplemental lighting, these inner flowers stay smaller, less dense, and less developed. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL300 solve this by pushing photons directly into those shaded areas, ensuring the lower and middle buds get the energy they need to bulk up. Spectrum: The ICL300 units provide a balanced white spectrum with a red push, tailored to maximize flowering response while avoiding heat stress. This means not only are the tops getting stacked, the inner and lower flowers are also swelling, making for a more even, consistent harvest. The difference is visible already: the RollerCoaster Haze girls aren’t just top-heavy. The mid-canopy sites are developing beautifully, with structure filling out in layers instead of just one dominant top. 🌼 Pistils: White Hairs Everywhere At Week 5, pistils (the fine white hairs that emerge from each calyx) are one of the clearest signs of flower development. They serve two major purposes: • Reproduction: pistils are part of the female flower’s reproductive system, designed to catch pollen if it’s present. • Growth indicator: the color, abundance, and orientation of pistils give us a direct look into the maturity of the flower. Some genetics push out bright white pistils, while others lean slightly toward cream, yellowish, or even orange tones earlier in bloom. This variation is completely normal and tied to the plant’s lineage. At this stage, the RollerCoaster Haze girls are full of vigorous white pistils, standing tall and reaching outwards. This shows they are actively building flowers and pushing energy into new calyx formation. It’s also a reminder that this week is about observation: watching how the pistils evolve will tell us not only about maturity, but also about how each pheno expresses itself. Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. Quick update: it turns out the yellowing leaves were due to a nitrogen deficiency. Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. August 25th Buds are getting more dense and picking up their trichomes nicely, only issues have been temp swings from 87F-72F and RH from 32-45, adjusting the setup to have smaller ranges

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

This lovely lady is suffering from a little bit of what appears to be a calcium deficiency which is being remedied now with some calmag. Other than that she is doing great. The buds are fattening up real good. She is starting to develop some minty notes and is frosting up nicely.

Overall Status: The Bruce Banner (Dark Horse Genetics) is progressing beautifully. We are currently at the beginning of flower week 5. The canopy is dense and even, thanks to the LST and netting. The trichome production is ramping up significantly, and the plants are showing great vitality. Feeding & Watering: I am currently running a heavy feeding schedule to support the "bulking" phase. The front plant is much thirstier than the back two, which is likely due to its high metabolic rate and airflow position. • Latest Feed (per Liter): 2ml Hesi Bloom, 1.1ml Hesi PK 13/14, 0.8ml CalMag, and 4ml Alfa Boost. • Observation: The plants are responding well to the PK boost with no signs of nutrient burn so far.

Major defoliation/ lollipoping that happened this week right on day 20 my main concern was looking for more hermies (due to stem cracks from lst) and also cut out any lower branches that where going to make larfy buds. I only cut up the branches untill the point that the budsites where at least a nice pistil cluster (10and up ) some branches got a good 6-7 inches shaved off some more like 2-3 just depends on the plant with so much variety. Also my plants are like touching the lights it just wont let me mark less then 4inches i have the ability to raise my light another 2inches so i will definitely be doing that. For now i have the taller branches off to the sides so the can outgrow the light without burning. Smells finally starting to come in with more gassy earth coming from DD and devine chocolate GG4 smell coming from the mellows Still see some nitrogen toxicity not sure if should cut all nutes in half considerIng week three biogrow increases to 3ml/L
