Next week harvest!!!

Well it's been an awesome week :) Plants have responded way better than expected to both LST & fimming, I've got a good canopy and plenty of potential colas that are growing well and at an even level. Also, won £200 on a scratchy, so decided to invest in a better light. Went from 300w LED (true draw 130w) to 1800w LED (true draw 595w). The difference in the light is clear to see. Both plants have motored through initial training with LST and fimming without skipping a beat. I've read so many mixed opinions on topping / fimming autos, it was a hard decision to make. In the end, I decided to give it a try and find out for myself. If I'd had any concerns about the plants ability to cope, I wouldn't have done it, but if your plant is looking strong and healthy then it may be something to think about. Personally, I think there is no right or wrong, because it's probably entirely situational - too many variables like strain, genetics, environment, growing medium, lights etc to say one way or the other really. But for this grow right here? I think it was a good decision I'm extremely happy with the results. Scrog net now in place, and both girls are starting to boogy on upwards. No sign of pre-flower yet, I'm hoping they grow into the net before they start stretching too hard. Also, some weird findings from my runoff EC since I got the new light. Runoff EC has always been about 50-75 micro siemens above input. It was predictable as hell. But when the new light was installed, the runoff EC started to drop to about +25 from input... then the same as input..... and now my runoff EC is LOWER than input. Thought it might just be an anomoly, but it has now been consistently lower, every feed for the last 3 days. I'm going to post a question, but if anyone has any bright ideas wtf is up with that, let me know!! It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. She has a nice flowery smell! I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

She looks well the internodes are quite spaced. The stem is thickened each week that passes the leaves are emerald green with five fingers. She has received 100 ml of phd water. I’ll keep her under the leds see how she does!!!

Week 26 november - 2 december 29 november - D7 flowering

I trusted F1 from the first moment, my old school grower friends talk a lot about only marketing etc. but here i see the very genetic good job by RQS. This week I saw rapid growth The plays seem to be taking the high ec very well. They don't really have any smell yet. Some of the branches grow horizontally into the other plants at the same time the plants that grow like this aren't stretching up. I guess those are bushier pheno. Looks like they're going to be heavy. So far so good 😊

So, I threw out Fruit Diesel and Bruce Banner because of insufficient development. I still made a mistake, it is better to plant 4 plants under such a lamp, but not 6. I installed a dehumidifier, the humidity reaches 60% - no more. All the same, in a hot climate air conditioning to reduce humidity is not possible.

This cultivation I lost a little bit the size that could reach . 😓 The light stayed too much close of the plant .

WEEK 10😎 Even this journey coming to an end. This plant was blocked by Topping technique. By the way it smells so strong and buds are so dense. Who knows how it would have been if i hadnt blocked it. PH 6.8 PPM 150-200

Well i ran into some problems, water temps too high over the weekend (i wasn't there) but roots and plant still looked healthy despise 24,5°C water temp over 2 days. I added 2,5ml each Hydro A & B on day 15. EC rised to 0,89 / PPM 445 and two days later ppm still the same i guess because the only part of the root touching the water couldn't uptake any nutes because of the high water temp? (everything above the water looks healthy af tho) Since my apartment is usually really hot in the summer i bought a TEC peltier water cooler + pump and a thermo regulator to ensure the water temps will stay between 20 and 21°C. i just need to wire that up and diy saved me me a lot of money. i payed about 100€ and have automatic temperature control and a cooler from amazon about 200+ € so i think its fine. I'll show you the set up once it's completed and works. Its the best budget cooling i could get my hands on imo. Today is Day 19 my parts came and i really managed it to half ass wire shit and not burning down something. wish me luck. I payed a total of 93,22€ and now got a really quiet, 150w DIY Peltier/TEC) cooler that automatically turns on once the water temp hits 21°C (69,8F) and stops when hitting 20°C. So far its working REALLY well. like im amazed and so proud i managed to do that and it was pretty easy. i had big problems with temps in my attic flat and water temps quickly rising to 24° and more which means root rot. Since i use the cooler all new roots just looking healthy as fuck. the plant is growing well and i see every day progress. So i saved a shit ton of money. the cheapest water cooler i could find on amazon was around 350+€. Sure it bet it works better, is safer to touch, not very likely to cause burning down my house because i had to twist copper wires together and let 230V run trough it BUT no way i have that much money for things like that. The cooler cools water temps from 21,5° to 20° in about 15minutes. the longer it runs the better it cools. i bought a temperature controller outlet ( 25€) which let me set 2 temps and it turning the cooler on and off. I had to cool it down manually every 2 hours before with frozen water bottles💀 So here are the stats for day 19: Water Temps: 20-21°C / pH: 5.42 / PPM: 485 / EC: 0.96 / height: 2,5cm (lol) (i added some more Hydro A and B because i thought i maybe see some nitrogen deficiency) i bet i will see some RAPID growth now since everything is dialed in, hopefully lol 150g im coming!

November 2nd marks another week with "Verlena" and "Carolyn". Verlena has transitioned into flower, yet Carolyn remains in veg. I should be placing them both in their 3 gallon homes this week. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. All is well no issues to report. November 5, 2021, Friday. I watered the girls with MG Organics 11-3-8 and they respond quickly and positively. November 6, 2021, Saturday. Watered again with MG Organics. November 7, 2021, Sunday. Day of rest.
