8/23 Fed 2 gallons of nutes to the garden. I'm planning to increase feeding to three gallons as plants look hungry. Ice cream cake isn't as vibrant as it once was. Still losing leaves but I find that is consistent with others in my area according to the local growers page. The hurricane missed us but the rain and humidity are still a problem. It's not raining (plants were soaked so it rained last night) and rh is still 100%. It's outdoor so what can I do? What I NEED to do is spray BT and something to combat PM. Plants are flowering nicely. It's good to actually have some flowers to look at. The smell is great too. 8/24 Didn't water as it rained last night. Defoliated what was dead. Fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everything is in flower. The little ice cream cake flowers don't look like they like this rain. I don't blame them. I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at night. I noticed more damage on plants or maybe old damage. Either way bud shoots are gone on a few lower limbs. I can't pull up my bags as the are firmly rooted. I checked under the five gallon buckets (which were also somehow firmly rooted) and found a shit ton of earwigs underneath. I killed what I could. I tried spraying a bug with dawn but it didn't kill it or at least didn't kill it right off. I stomped on them and tore open the earth. Logic dictates they are probably under the grow bags as well. I'm going to try Spinosid tonight. I'll look up some other methods as well. If anybody has advice please hit me up. UPDATE: Went back down at 6. Super sunny and humid today. Temp was 92 with humidity about 90%. I couldn't spray. I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Found four more moth leaves on the sick isolated plant. They must like the injured ones better. 8/25 Watered and defoliated what needed it. Buds are growing rapidly. Took pictures but have been unable to upload due to slow internet connection. Hopefully the weather will allow me to spray tonight. 8/26 Watered heavy as it's been in the 90s. Couldn't spray as it was to hot last night. Buds are tightening up. Ran out of LCPT so I need to find an alternative. Now that plants are flowering it's easier to see the damage from the earwigs. No buds where they should have been on some low branches. Not many and hopefully the few that got lollipoped will focus growth on the top. I hope I'm able to make it down late tonight to work. I was worried about my plants flowering late but that might be a blessing in disguise. I've seen lots of people losing plants to bud rot. Thanks for stopping by and please leave any thoughts or advice in the comments. 8/27 UPPED MY FEEDING REGIMEN TO THREE GALLONS AND USED TWO TBSP TIGER BLOOM IN PLACE OF KOOL BLOOM AND USED A WHOLE TBSP KELP FOR THE HEAT. This heat is killing me. Yesterday was over 95f with rh in the 90s. My medication makes the heat harder to bare. Defoliated what needed it. I'm in town looking for a fungicide. Planned to use apple cider vinegar this morning but of course I couldn't find it. Buds still rapidly forming. I'll update later. I picked up potassium bicarbonate and citric acid and have the recipe and ingredients for both diy green cleaner and green cure. Once the sun starts going down I'm going to use the potassium bicarbonate recipe. Bought a bunch of potassium bicarbonate and citric acid. I am now able to make diy versions of both green and green cleaner. I mixed 1tbsp potassium bicarbonate with 1/4 teaspoon dawn and sprayed two gallons on the plants last night. Leaves were yellowing more and traveling upward on the blueberry. Bleeding like nitrogen deficiency. I'll monitor. If plants don't improve I'll need to do a flush and an application of Spinosid. Wanted to take pics but the phone died. 8/28 Thoroughly watered today. I also had to defoliate a ton of yellow leaves on my blueberry's. I'm hoping it's not nutrient lockout. I still have three issues that could be my problem 1) the WPM 2) PISSIBLY ph fluctuation or worse w lockout and 3) earwig or inch 🐛/ moth larvae causing damage. I'm coming out of my funk so hopefully I can fix these issues. Smell is amazing and the buds are really starting to develop. They looked bigger in the evening than they did in the morning. It was over 90° f yesterday and I woke up to 50 this morning. I'm sure these big temp swings don't help much. 8/30 Rained last night but I watered slightly as there wasn't much rain. ADDED TWO MORE I.R. CAMERA'S last night. I feel more secure as the area is also protected with motion sensors and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm not going to mention. Anything bigger than a porcupine and things get bright and loud and signals get sent, roads blocked ECT. Not my first rodeo deep in the Maine woods. The grow will not be left alone and hadn't been for a few weeks. Anyway I lifted a 5 gallon bucket and found more earwigs. It jives with some of the damage I've been seeing. I'm thinking of spraying spinosid instead of BT tonight. At least the buds are starting to fill in. They don't seem to bother those as much. They did bite off a bunch of grow shoots though. Either way I have a few issues to deal with. As long as the weather stays alright until October I should be fine. My ice cream cake is barely flowering and it's HUGE. I have another seed that's in a similar state. Others are further along. We shall see how things go. The little ones could be transported inside at night if necessary.

The seed was free and i tried with no expectations. the plant maintained a deep green with great bud structure for lollipopping it made it easy to know what was able to be pruned or not quite easily. seemed to be very resistant to bugs. buds were dense but not as crystally as i might have expected, potentially i chopped a little too early.. *shrug* i will update when it has dried sufficiently

Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. Fast Buds Wedding Glue Auto Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering top and bottom every other day to every 2 days Growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower mix with happy frog. I will honestly say I am very pleased that this wedding glue is starting to take off! It did take it this long to build its root system but I am happy. I think it may take this girl another week to 2 weeks to enter pre flower. Because she is the "runt" of the 4 plants in my 4x4 I will probably give minimal training for this run. I cant believe how FAT Mimosa got. Looks like it's on a McDonald's only diet...big, juicy and shiny this one is. The fade is on half way alredy and despite i cuted a couple of branches on the Apple&Bazookiez, I've decidid to let it go another week. Colours on this one are stunning. Red and purple buds and fades all over. Despite the slim rock hard nuggets i believe the thc and terpenes are going to make up for the lack of weight. They have been on straight ph water for the last 2 weeks and thats how they going to be for the last 1 and 2 weeks respectively. See you on next Sunday. Good grows🌲

Gettin a lot of rain this week struggling w humidity when lights go out. Everything is still chugging along buds starting to swell a bit more feel nice and dense.

Week 4 begins for Mandarin dreams and Divine storm. Both ladies are looking happy and I increased their feed by 1 liter each. Friday the 19th of May Day 23 of 12/12 recently started with the new nutrients mills part A and mills part B ppm 870 all in full flower now still not impressed with the front left plant but what can you do il be happy with a small yield from that one hopefully the quality is as good as my last grow 🍁😎 also need to upgrade my light been using cheap lights for awhile now and the grow is better each time so I’d like to see what I can do with a well known light from a good company

Here's what I'm thinking: I believe removing some of the larger fan leaves to allow light to reach the lower branches could be beneficial. It would encourage more even growth and better bud development throughout the plant. What's your take on this? Day 35: "Hey everyone! Update time: We defoliated the plants two days ago, and they are developing nicely. 🌿 However, we're currently facing a challenge with the temperature. During the day, it gets above 28°C for about 4-5 hours. Despite our 360 m³/h exhaust system, we can't keep the humidity high enough to offset the heat, and our humidifier isn't powerful enough. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain the tent at 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We’ve got an aphid problem that I recently discovered, probably from my own laziness. Walking between the outdoor and indoor garden doesn’t help. Treated with water/ neem oil and dish soap. I will continue this until they have been eradicated. Growth is still amazingly quick. Kind leds have been raised and the X-420 is set to 100% full spectrum with 25% UV/IR.
