Hey everyone at week 4 know and wow have these girls grown early this week I applied some LST and all took really well to say it was my first time trying this

This week I took a few clones while I still could, didn’t want them too far into flowering. Normal week of (vigorous) growing in our Scrog canopy. Very surprised how quick she grew her leaves back after the defoliate. The clone rooted quite quickly and has shown amazing vigor. It was reintroduced and will begin flowering immediately. It will still get 10 days of Veg while the plant figures out that it’s Fall time in here. (before it truly starts flowering)

I welcome everyone who came in for the first time or has long been following my blueberries. the girl blossoms and smells and already showers herself with trichomes. two days ago I used iron chelate on a sheet to stimulate photosynthesis and also, due to phosphorus deficiency, introduced dry water-soluble fertilizer NPK 10/54/10

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 8/2: Everybody is potted up in a 3 gallon pot now. I sprayed them all with Boom Boom Spray one day, and foliar fed with kelp and Superthive all week. They got their first real feeding with TPS One and seemed to like it. I also gave them a little molasses.

Some extra rainy weather this week, last several days the sun never came out. Colder damp nights and finally slightly lower VPD! The reason I’m still concerned about lockout is because I corrected the root zone pH, before transplanting to the big 400, with multiple applications of hydrated lime over multiple days. I’m not concerned, but just aware of the potential as the pH slowly rises with the lime. They say 1-2 weeks at least, for hydrated lime. Either way, I did notice immediate results almost overnight after first application. The burning stopped spreading at a dramatic pace, as well her leaf expression suggested she had a little more energy as well as growth speeding back up. Only to find about 5 days later a new subtle progression with areas in the root zone where the pH meter would either dive to about 4, or become unstable and erratic. Now I believe we are thoroughly back to a range of 6.5-7 sweet.

Flowering nice. Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center Silver Kush are two up front. I ran out of room for scrogging branches in back, letting them just strech. Unfortunately that has me keeping the light higher than Id like. Since S.K. are shorter, the one at right side is 30" from light, while stretched branches in back are 12" from light. Averaging 18" overall from lights.... Hope i dont get light bleaching! UPDATE: Added 2nd screen on Day2 to keep stretchy branches lower Cookies are flowering nice, one of the silver kush is just starting to flower while the other hasn't started yet.... hmmm 2-3 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4

Day 46. Will update more on next week. Too many work at same time, filling diaries is last thing on my mind now ... Girls are somewhere in the middle, far from biggest, but very nice and healthy. day 77 and I think it is not ready to be harvested, what do you think? , I will leave it for a week more as it progresses, I still see the very aired buds and the trichomes because I see pure milky and clear I do not see amber, the purple tones have only been present in the leaves and the tips of the flowers, some leaves have started to fall and turn yellow, I did a root washing yesterday

End of Week 13 (6 week of flower) Cruise control on! Trying to make sure the environment is 100% in check, and I made a very light compost tea with some molasses and worm castings and a little bit of bone meal just to give them a calcium boost and some extra sugars so they can flourish into their final couple of weeks of flower. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

A bit of (N-P-K) deficiency I added a bit of worm casting and mammoth P as well as recharge I’m gonna keep adding mammoth P every watering which is usually twice a week every 3 days.
