Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. 🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Lady Runtz has moved into a 11 L pot with Plagron Batmix. With the next watering we gonna use Plagron Power Roots, Purezym, and Sugar Royal.

She started popping pistils. She just got into preflowering let's see how she does. Day 40 flushed her with ph balanced water to remove the salt build up Day 42: Had an accident today tho she recovering and she's totally droopy. Day 44: Thank God She has started stretching again

The frosty forest has been cut down, the last girl has been cut down and tent clean up a bit for the new lady’s

Restart nutes Day 43 after 4 days watered with clear water at pH 6.0~6.2. No stress ! Peace all 😌

2/8 Week 13 ! Her drinking is falling, almost a quart less today. Moving into flush range as the hairs are beginning to curl and seeing some small showings of amber. Reducing the Bloom nuets to 5ml until I see its time to change again, increasing PK slightly. Prob two days then go to full PK (15ml) to take her into flush. Plan a fast flush with an agent to speed things along. 2/9 Fed 5ml/gal CT Bloom A/B 12ml/gal Peak Another day 2/10 Leaving feeding as is, building nicely leaving the plant positioned as is think this is the best compromise between all the plants in the tent. Not sure how long this will go at this point, but not cutting her short for anything. Pics 2/12 Beginning to back off the PK leaving the CocoTek at a low dose. Plan to have the PK gone in a day or so but leaving the CT until flush. Just following some new ideas on using PKs and Finishers. Due to some issues, one is on this grow (I need to increase potency on Tara), changing out the HPS for MH for a while, may finish under it depends on the other grow. Looking at the trics I have decided to drop the PK and go to normal levels of Bloom nuets until flush. So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

End of week 6; Day 42 So far so good, Frost is setting in on the strawberry Gorilla. The cookies is stretching beyond belief and is about 55in tall from the floor up. The strawberry has stayed shorter and bushier than the cookies. Smell is also coming pretty strong. Happy Growing y'all

W12 - ESTHER 🌱is growing well. Days become longer with more hours of sunlight ☀️ Still can't spot any signs of flowering 🌻 in her 😥🤦‍♂️ I started to defoliate branches from unnecessary leaves. Regularly make some tea 🍵 from them with a dash of virgin olive oil. I need to admit makes me very mellow and tastes delish 😋

Week 1 of early Veg I began the feeding schedule this week using the Canna range again for this grow as it worked well on my last run. Trying to maintain 55-60 Rh this week Growing an Auto strain for the first time under the new LED is throwing up some questions but I think all is going ok. These 2 seemed to take quite a long time to settle but are picking up growth now and look to be healthy. I plan to lower the light gradually over the next week to 24inch as they develop further. 🤓 ✌️

A ver, la planta va muy bien, crece muy bien, tragando agua sigue igual, al mismo ritmo, cada 2 o 2 dias y medio le hecho sus 3 litros, y a veces riego con 7 para que drene algo. Ahora bien, el amarillo... ¿Porque está tan amarilla!? -Puede ser por haber pecado de ir flojo con los nutrientes. Falta de potasio. -Puede ser por bloqueo por PH o por sales. -Puede ser un hongo. -O puede ser, y es aquí mi teoría jajajaja, que dado que esta planta ya la he cultivado dos veces mas antes, la primera vez, fue bastante mejor que la segunda y pude asegurar el lavado y llegar bien a sus últimas fases y tal (se cagó en el secado que duró 4 dias jajajaja pero bueno, de todo se aprende) y lo curioso, es que en ese primer cultivo, me amarilleo también muuy pronto, con las mismas manchas y de aquí mi teoria: este genotipo alarga el uso del nitrogeno hasta fases avanzadas de floracion y además empieza a tirar de reservas antes de lo habitual (lo cual explicaría que esta es una de esas plantas que en una semana ha madurado y no te das cuenta) y dado que en floracion el ph se baja, yo lo fui bajando conforme arrancó el stretching por lo que le fui limitando las reservas de nitrogeno antes de lo que ESTE GENOTIPO pide, y de ahí el amarillenteo de la mayoria de las hojas. Como tengo todavía varias semillas mas de esta, seguiré plantándola a ver hasta donde podemos llevarla y gracias a cosas como estas, ir aprendiendo por el proceso. PD: tengo ramas atadas o apoyadas a la pared por que se caen del peso xD
