10/21- Flower has begun!! I've been gradually removing growth from under the canopy that I dont anticipate will become sizeable buds. Now we wait for the stretch. Took a few clones to try my hand at that. Air is drying out big time lately. I'm probably going to have to give in and buy a humidifier because it's going to be essential to keep my buds from drying out too fast and keeping these plants in healthy rh range. Despite humidity swings, plants seem to be doing well across the board so I already have a leg up on my last grow. I sprayed for bugs as a precaution. Neem and peppermint Castille soap diluted in water was the choice. Left a residue on my plants though so live been keeping my light between 30-40% and gradually turning up the intensity each day until I reach where I was(70) I dont want to burn my leaves because I have treating for bugs before. I will add pictures this weekend. This is posted on Day one so there's really not too much change to show in the plants. Really excited to see how they develop over the next 2 weeks. 10/24 Added pics of two plants. I accidently deleted my shoot of GZ 2 and I don't feel like taking them out of the tent again because it's a bit of a pain with the net. It's much taller than it's sister and maybe the healthier plant at this point. Moby dick is a bush, very healthy even still. No real signs of flower yet. They do seem to be stretching a bit but when you look everyday it's hard to tell. I'm hoping to have a really nice canopy in a week.

There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... FastBerry (FastBuds) 14 days from sprout. Started a light nutrient feed this week. About quarter strength of what is recommended. Also added neem oil to soil drench as I noticed a couple of gnats in the air and don't want that to become an issue.

Hi So another clone run, the mother Runt impressed me with her vigure I had to get cutting, very fast fat growth, massive leaves. resilient and just overall top shelf genetics. I'm thinking to fill a tent and use 1 for breeding, the biggest one obviously, I have 4 male strains to choose from im sure the breeder a friend of mine won't mind I will ask but there won't be a problem there, it's a bit more personal when the seeds arnt from a million pound company and it's just polite and breeder ethics in my eyes.. Growing these girl's in my home brew super soil il have a nice addition to add to the mix going into final pots il keep that 1 and inform you then although Iam going to have to keep these in veg till January so il keep them as small as I can or do some mayor work (HST)on them. **Added **a video of 2 of the roots from the clones. Showing symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizal fungi inoculant added as soon as I cut the clones.. As for now grow on.. Good luck and much love 💚✌️

Nothing much, now the flowering started I've changed from P20 phosphore to pk13/14 ~ 2 ml a liter.

Still feeding full strength, the trichomes closer to the top of the plant are turning cloudy so I will probably hatchet at least one pheno at the end of week 8, maybe both. The smell is really nice and reminds me of bubblegum, I'm glad I took cuttings but wish I'd taken them earlier on. Still they are starting to reveg now.

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Began LST on the taller plants. Things are running smooth and the plants are happy! Temps were running slightly hotter than normal. But nothing these resilient plants can’t handle. 2x Stunted seedlings are showing new growth and look like they are recovering just fine - excited to see how they will turn out.

Sadly missed a week due to personal reason.. Anyway way this forbidden runtz is outstanding... she's grown so fast. She's smelling really good at the min.. Not a lot has change fees wise. Iv given her some boost so won't be long now.

What do you think about her potential is with her everything ok I will add that it is not the first but purely theorist you can find out what is happening.

This strain has a very interesting high, I and my girlfriend did a test on her at about week 2 of cure and found she has a very sweet minty mango tinge, but a more of a minty tea smell with a bit of sour tinge once you crack that bud open to put it in the grinder. She smokes amazing all white ash and a very dense but romantic softness to her. At first I was bummed smoking this strain because knowing it only peaks at around 17% supposedly I did not expect a very strong bud already, but when I smoked her I got almost a very gradual increase after a few minuets of puffing almost like a euphoric wave was slowly rushing over my eyes and head like a tide coming in on a beautiful night after a long day at the beach. I felt quite sativa stoned with it growing in intensity in my face and eyes, then after I finished my joint I went inside for a glass of water and as soon as I sat down, it really hit me and my girlfriend right in the ass, I was couch locked and so was she, but in a very odd way, I was not indica deep, but I was more a good hybrid deep, a very relaxing eye and face buzz with quite relieving muscle tension I felt amazing, my body was so bloody relaxed! I felt just comfortable like a cozy blanket and a fire on a cold December day, hot chocolate in hand. This strain from start of smoke, to burn out was a very calm and needed high for me and my lady. We both burned out and slept like rocks, like someone had just given the worlds best massage in my brain and bones. I woke up the next morning feeling quite refreshed after that eye relaxing euphoric head high and my back and legs felt very relaxed and ready for a great day! So in my opinion! A good 6/10 for max potency but a 10/10 for flavour and enjoyment. Over all I give this strain a 8/10 in my books, a 17% is all I need and I’m betting she came out around that, of course without lab testing I can not prove that. But I love this strain and the high it gives, one single 0.5 joint got me fried, and the next day I finished off 3 bowls and went to fucking muchie land so he’ll yeah! Give candy cane a try!! Also! Sorry about the lack of info! I did not have a scale when it was in wet weight, I also had a whole half a plant chopped to branches and the big buds left on the plant to hang dry slow, so I was not able to get it on a scale until dried a week later due to my work schedule and having stores open as I’m in the shop and close as I leave.

37 grams and this bud is just covered in crystals, pictures don't do it justice. I smoked some early on but it wasn't the best dry/cure so I will update once I've cured for a couple weeks. Overall I'm super stoked how this grow went, looking forward to growing more fastbuds trees!!

Today mark day 37 flower. Last week I notice nute burn, I didn’t do anything different with the nutrient. Still using the same ratio. Today I started noticing the tips getting lime yellow again. I don’t suspect anything is off or wrong. Do you have experience with this slow nute burn at this stage already?
