HARVEST TIME AT DAY 55 - 06/08/21 I wanted to get these ladies cut before we go through a heat spell. they were all ready but the gelato could have used a few extra days to make some more amber trikes... oh well cut them all and hung them at 72F @ 55%RH - hopefully I can keep the temps from fluctuating too much! I did a bit of trimming before the 48 hour dark period but none today see y'all in a week or so... if i can keep the temps good then it should be more like 10 days... we'll see! THCdaddy

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Semana 7 desde el cambio de fotoperiodo. Crecen bien las plantas, están comiendo mucho y debo regar día por medio, estoy aplicando un riego de agua con enzimas y un riego con fertilizantes (esta semana abone 2 veces), aumente la EC de la solución con abonos a 1.6 esta semana. Les quedan un par de semanas aún antes de comenzar a lavar las raíces. Tienen muy buen aroma, la California tiene un olor entre cítrico y agrio que me encanta.

Feels like this is taking forever lol hairs starting to turn brown and starting to get thick and resiny. Nice smell, girls are still really thirsty, drinking 18-20L every 4-5 days. Can’t wait to see the end weight. Also wish I had something to test the quality like T check.. I’m thinking 2-4 weeks left. Still some white flies around but the big boss is keeping them at bay

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. When we had so many problems with the other two strains. This strain keeps pushing out buds like the little engine that could. Closest to the light, it handles heat and light way better than her counterparts. It also has some major trichome formation starting covering the entire top leaves. It is starting to smell and form real compact dense buds, although not very pronounced yet. We shall see but she promises to deliver some nice danky bud after all. Nice to see she still pulls together, also nice to see how different this strain behaves from others I have grown. Time will tell the total tally... We shall see if there is a Silverback in the making, but at least she is not staying behind any more. Also here, 3 to 4 more weeks... Cant wait! Thank you for checking in! My medium starts to gather salt because of too much nutrients and it affects the plant, i washed it the last two waterings and I hope it’ll get better :)

Hello fellow grower Week 3, when taking the pictures and comparing from only 7 days ago, I said to myself it’s unbelievable... Look the development in just a week. The Mars Hydro FC6500 is absolutely remarkable. It’s like growing under the sunlight in a controlled environment ! _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm genetics is no bullshit, vigorous and resilient, they have exploded during this week. Transplanting last week was done in time to keep the growing rate at maximum. _________________________________________________ Last week transplanting using Cellmax BIO RootBooster did a great job. I can already see some tips of the roots coming out from the drain holes of the pot. _________________________________________________ No water during the week, no need. Just a nice story about the Dutch Golden age, 17th century. World is round since not so long, the Dutchmen are all over the globe on board of their galleon across the seas. Imagine a crew of sparrow full of tattoos with sharp teeth. On board, in a chest, well kept in a dry place, there’s some Cannabis seeds .... 😊 How they were able to navigate so far and so long ? Because they were able to repair the ropes in case of a wreck growing the seeds to make hemp quickly and Cannabis seeds holds enough protein... Stay tuned folks, it’s growing crazy 😝

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! She’s stretching a good amount… I did lollipop before I flipped and it’s grown back aggressively which I’m happy about. Hoping slows down on stretch. I’m just over 2 weeks of flower so I’m hoping she doesn’t stretch much more. She’s very healthy and the growth is fantastic. A lot of new branches. She really filled out. I’ll have my work cut out for me on day 21 for defoliation. Very happy with the growth so far. I did supercrop some of the taller aux branches cause they’re getting up there. Just don’t want them getting out of control. This pheno is supposed to to be able to handle stress.

So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off
