Switched one generic t8 8w led for a t8 9w grow led. Plants have responded well to the change. Will give the plants a few more days before moving them down to the 2nd grow chamber with double the lights. Will leave the small ones in the current chamber until they recover and catch up. USB Desktop fan seems to be too directional. WIll adjust so that the airflow is a bit more uniform.

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. I lost all my pictures of my candy kush harvest but the bud was pretty uninspiring, not much for terps or smell and just makes me sleepy so been using it when I get home from my 12 hour shifts at 7am so I can get to sleep quick as possible, will be the last plants EVER from royal queen seeds ,defended them for the last year but since growing real breeders seeds I see that rqs is most definitely a white label seed company that sells us all fake genetics that are not what they say they are,I gave them every chance but when I grow 5 different strains and they all end up looking,smelling and tasting exactly the same theres something fishy going on ,sucks too because now I don't want to give those strains a chance because rqs's version left such a bad taste in my mouth(literally and figuratively)

The 4 in vegetation are getting flipped this week and they will be replaced by the clones ASAP. I've already harvested these strains a few times and they're incredible. I highly recommend them! *Also, I got them from clone and they have already been phenohunted.*

There seems to be 2 main phenos, one with big Christmas tree shaped buds, and one with tight GG#4 shaped buds, all are covered in trichomes, especially the #3 pheno I found, Ill be re-vegging it to make sure I get clones to play with. I don't have the wet weight, but it seems to be between 4-5lbs, I'll have an accurate dry weight soon. This stuff is amazing on the nose, super gassy scent and flavor, extracts really well, and the trichomes don't amber easily. It seemed to stretch quite a bit under an hps light, I want to try running my MH bulb for the first 2-3 weeks in flower

Today’s date is June 11th, it has been 6 days since my last update. So far the Dolomite lime seemed to have helped with the yellowing of my fan leaves and the only “yellow” ones left look like they have a fade to them but I’m not sure if it’s due to proximity of the harvest or from the magnesium deficiency I had earlier. Either way I have to be more on top of my nutrients and my macros too. They chunked up a decent size and the branches are even toppling over from their density! Trellis was definitely needed for this one. Nothing special but watering when needed, temps have been as high as 84 and as low as 67, I’m really trying to master the environment but due to my location it’s getting harder to do so without hoping I don’t blow a fuse with all my equipment running, haha. Overall I’m happy so far and hopefully next run I’ll dial in more perfectly, if you have any tips for me please share!
