What's happening viewers. Texas had a line of thunderstorms and tornadoes this past week. Winds grew up to more than 20mph. WISDOM the White Widow and her sister Patience the mystery strain to the right, lived through every drop . The rain allowed the ladies to flush naturally and ready for dinner. Keep it locked because the mother Annie the Afghan will pop up any minute now. Y'all stay cool.

What’s up yall!!?? Week 6 and we got some serious buds growing in. Some of the sites that I thought wouldn’t produce actually surprised me. I haven’t changed much with this grow. I think the flush I did worked well and the plant seemed to react in a positive way. Trellis net and some LST just to get light down to the lower sites seem to have worked. No real change in nutrient and feeding. I do feed every watering so there I no skipping. I still use the General Hydroponics flora series and some cal mag. That’s literally all! See y’all in week 7

Followed aggressive week 6 feed schedule, went back on the CalMag to 6ml/gal, and upped Sweet Berry back to 8ml/gal. The bihh is heavy, making it hard to get root shots these days. :( Feb 13th - Unable to get data for this day.

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

2024-11-27 to 2024-12-02 The first time I grew Chernobyl, the plant was dense and unruly with thick, lush vegetation. In fact, the plant took up so much room in my tent that I have it to a friend to finish outdoor. It showed signs of bud rot early in the flowering period and luckily, most of it was saved from itself. In addition, the stems of this strain are more hollow and brittle, gaining thickness quickly and making Low Stress Training a difficult task that requires patience when working the branches around the LST clips. I have broken many branches on a Chernobyl plant even when applying care and caution. It requires getting the plant to the shape and size you need early, so that silica can be added to strengthen the branches in prep for those killer nugs. They are taking about .5 gallons of feed every other day.

🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. Nutrient Transition • Terra Grow → Flowering nutrients • Supporting the hormonal shift from stretch → stack • Small signs of possible cal-mag demand observed — already being addressed, nothing severe ⸻ 🌿 Growth Observations • Both plants look healthy and vigorous • Plant B is clearly ahead in flower development • Plant A continues to stretch and respond beautifully to training • Leaf color overall is excellent • Bud sites stacking cleanly At this point: • All plants are in pre-flower / early flower • We’re counting this as Week 2 flower in the life cycle ⸻ 📸 Studio Session Plants were brought into the studio to: • document structure clearly • show node spacing and canopy differences • create a clean visual timeline Photos reflect real structure, not “posed perfection”. ⸻ ❤️ Final Words Big thanks to: • the geneticists • the sponsors • the platform • the OGs • the newcomers • the critics • the lovers • even the haters Everyone has a place here. We share wins, mistakes, and lessons openly so we can all grow better together. Criticism is welcome — it’s how progress happens. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. ♥️December 13/2020♥️ Hi everyone! Lots of growth this week wow! I measured 5 inches of height since last week! I turned my light to 100 % on the dimmer and raised a few more inches! ♥️ I think i'm finally starting to dial things in, I am pretty happy with how everything is going, I 100000x believe for my other grows I was underfeeding HARDCORE. I am such a stoner sometimes, turns out my measuring syringe was 3ML instead of 30ML??? LOL wow idiot on my part..... but obviously giving them what they need now! ♥️ SO i'm going to add Big Bud next feed, but i'm not sure if I should do a flush before hand? I know this line can have pretty hard salt build up... So any suggestions plz! :) ♥️ Other news is, the roots are just creeping hard out of the drainage holes! I can see the roots also trying to escape the top soil, for me this is so exciting! My last grows the roots sucked hard. I might be exploring hydro next grow in 2021.. I have someone who is willing to give me a setup because they upgraded to a cabinet! We shall see! I bought some lecca ( clay balls) to experiment with my house plants specifically airoids.. but i'll start there and see how I feel with that method of substrate. ♥️ Anyways, that's all from me this week, keep it sleezy n stay safe pals.👽

Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering. Hope you guys enjoy the grow so far. Let's see how far i can push these ladies! Cheers.

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination The two girl are sure opposites of each other in how this grow is turning out😂😂👍 GSC2 didn’t get a good transplant and she has really suffered for it........add in that both of them were battling high pH in first weeks and thus the reason for the transplant from the fabric pots into plastic.......she is actually hanging in there and this week progressed well. GSC on the other hand I just have to put into her own tent!!!! She is too freaking big!!!!! I can’t fit her in with the other flowering girls and have any success at the grow👍💪👊😉 The environment is not where it needs to be though for flower so added another humidity controller and smaller full spectrum light to bump up to 300 watt range in the veg/flower tent now. Had limited choice with a limited budget and needed it now. I could go through more fooling around for only roughly 3 more weeks before others are done and could combine the plants.......good excuse though to have increased flexibility going forward😉😉😉👍 Feed amount have been as expected with GSC taking 4L most days while GSC2 is more of 2.5L range when feeding. Have noticed they are taking more water in the taller 3 gallon plastic pots. That is a lot of bottles listed but they are never fed that all at once. That is just a full list of products used this week and the dosage in that feed. I have been holding the feed numbers around 1000 ppm the last week and I think she can take more so have bumped that up to 1300 range for the next week. Expect to see some tip burn as pushing them but very little so far. GSC is now 36” and 36” wide but her bud sites are not very big in my opinion. I have replaced G.P. Massive with A.N.Big Bud for now as I don’t need her getting any taller......just grow BIG BUD😃😃 GSC2 is being fed the same schedule as GSC and the same feed so all numbers are the same. GSC2 is only 17” tall though and 24” wide. GSC Environment has been hovering at 80 degrees and 50 percent humidity most of the days. (Another Humidity controller and light arrive this week.) GSC2 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Fast Buds strain is solid👊💪👍😍 as is evident in GSC......all issues are grower related to pH problems in first three weeks of their life. Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 - 8L mixture with BigBud @ 2ml, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt, Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1275ppm and 6.1pH - GSC took 5L and GSC took 3L. - turning lights down yesterday helped. Both girls leaves are standing up more now, June 7, Day 58 - debated on feed but mixed 8L with BigBud @ 2ml, Rhinoskin, VeloKelp, Rezin, liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1015ppm and 5.6pH - GSC took 6L and GSC2 2L.......good run off from GSC but none from GSC2 - GSC tent needs more humidity in it......working on it - GSC2 is not looking all that great with her long fan leaves. June 8, Day 59 - dry out day - GSC is doing very well and looking big. - GSC2 is doing better since in the flower tent and under the T5 light. June 9, Day 60 - mixed 8L water with Massive and Terpinator @ 3ml, Sensizyme, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 1050ppm and 5.6pH - GSC given 5L and GSC2 was 3L. - Full strength feed as things are going okay overall. - GSC2 is getting taller and lower branches standing up more now. - GSC is happy by herself😀 June 10, Day 61 - 6L mixture with BigBud, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt @ 1.5ml = 475ppm - 4L for GSC and 2L for GSC2 - fair bit of runoff - GSC2 still has lots of leaves but they are not touching the pot anymore, she is getting taller. - GSC is really happy with her leaves way up. Buds are getting bigger as well......slowly😳 June 11, Day 62 - Dry out day today. - left them alone. - GSC will remain by herself. Need to get the humidity up over the 53% though. Temp is fine at 79 degrees. June 12, Day 63 - 8L mixture with Terpinator @ 3ml, BigBud, Rezin, Vitathrive @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 1350ppm and pH to 5.6 - GSC took 5L and GSC2 was 3L.......good runoff amounts from both. - GSC2 taken off the milk crate today. Stripped more leaves as well. Looking better at the end of the week👍

I'm not sure what to do with this plant now, it seems to be more leaf than bud and there doesn't seem to be any coming. it's probably time to cut my losses with this one?

**Encontrarás la traducción a español al final de la descripción** From/Desde: 19/04/19 || To/Hasta: 25/04/19 From day/Desde día: 57 || To day/Hasta día: 63 You can find the Gorillas Diary here (Texts are the same this week): ** Podéis encontrar el diario de las Gorilla aquí (Los textos son iguales esta semana):** https://growdiaries.com/diaries/25675-makingmoney-with-gorilla-mm-vs-gorilla -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- 1 - Before defoliation 2 - Defoliation 3 - After defoliation -----WEEK SUMMARY----- (Following text was translated with tools and reviewed, sorry for mistakes, misspellings or nosense things) As you can see I've done a defoliation this week. Yes, I have really gone over the top, I have removed many more leaves than I had, and the tails of the plants has not come to join at all due to the failed defoliation. Being the first defoliation I do, I did not really know what I was doing and I went crazy. Now that it has been several weeks since I made this defoliation, I realize that I should not have removed the leaves from the nodes of the tails, because they have stopped growing and have not joined with their superior parts. Anyway, the plants are beautiful today and although they could be much better I feel very happy with them. I know I've made 2 fatal mistakes in this grow - The first has been the massive defoliation badly done, defoliation yes, but with head ... do not follow my example. - The second failure that I see today, is that I did not leave enough growth time (18/6) after having made the last pruning and that has made the tails have been a length much less than what would have been desired, I think that 2 more weeks of growth would have been perfect. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 20/04/19 - 1,250 ml with Sensizym, Silica, Rhino Sk, Bud Ignitor, Big Bud, Bud Candy & Bud Factor-x @ PH6.4 & 1.2 E.C. 23/04/19 - 1,250 ml with All week nutrients - (Silica, Sensizym & Bud Ignitor) @ PH6.5 & 1.5 E.C.
