Week 5 Before and after LST

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing. Englischversion below Deutsch: Tag 36 Veg: Das Umtopfen bereitet den Damen noch sichtbar Schwierigkeiten. Auch der Temperaturunterschied stresst die Damen sichtbar. Der VPD muss angepasst werden, da sich die Temperatur von im Schnitt 28,5 Grad auf im Schnitt 22,5 Grad gesenkt hat. Die Blattoberflächentemperatur liegt im Schnitt bei 20,5 wodurch die RLF% bei ca 60-65% gehalten wird. Heute wurden die Damen auch vollständig mit ca 8,5L mit einem PH von 6,3 und 0,5 ml/L CalMag gegossen. Ein leichtes LST hat die Fürsorge heute abgerundet. Ziel ist es mit einer wider gesunden Pflanze an den Rand des Topes zu kommen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 36 – Vegetative Phase: The transplant is still visibly causing stress to the plants. The temperature difference is also clearly stressing them. The VPD needs to be adjusted, as the average air temperature has dropped from around 28.5 °C to approximately 22.5 °C. Leaf surface temperature averages about 20.5 °C, which requires relative humidity to be maintained at roughly 60–65%. Today, the plants were fully watered with approximately 8.5 liters per pot, adjusted to a pH of 6.3 and supplemented with 0.5 ml/L Cal-Mag. Light LST was also applied today to round off plant care. The goal is to reach the edge of the pot again with healthy, stable plants.

Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.

Slowly but surely, more volume will appear! The plants look healthy so far. I defoliated them again at the beginning of the week. Let's see what else is possible.

143gr for the Larger pheno and 97 for the shorter, very respectable yield in total for 3 Wk Veg. Total 240gr even they each had 1.5’x1.5’ of space. Big yielder, buds are 10/10 & very easy to grow . Could be prone to mold in an uncontrolled environment.

Almost gone with the 24k gold strain. I'm pretty happy with the results I had.

Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

"Hi, I received my pH meter this week, so from week 6 onwards, I'm aiming for a pH value of 6.0 - 6.5. This week, I noticed that the plant in the small pot received too much fertilizer. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

20cm growth this week. Flowers are forming and I can see purple on them 😍 The bad news this week is I was bending her lower branches.. trying to spread her out a bit. I've managed to snap both of them! She has been repaired best I can do, so will monitor it over next day or so to see how effective the fix is. I don't hold out much hope for one branch.. Looks like it's wilting already 😞

Flushed all the plants today. I water every 3rd day, so maybe two more flushings before harvest.

Everything's in flush mode, didnt take any pics this week we had alot of work to do with the flush and harvest of the big citradellic and everything is so close to the chop I figured I would just wait until the day of to get the final pics. The video is from Tuesday which is when the harvest happened. The fades are coming in hot and the aromas are heavy filling the tent. Over the next week they will be coming down and will do another update.

07/20/2019 Been nursing a split stem back together, healing,should be flowering soon hrs of daylight is14hrs 10 min. And getting shorter every day.
