I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.

17 January 2021 The seed has germinated and the plant has risen. 19 January 2021 The seedling had struggle with germination because the seed’s shell was stuck on the sapling causing the first pair of leaves to grow stuck in the seed shell and had to remove the shell by hand. This has put a minor delay on the plant’s growth.

The plants are growing at a good rate now and drinking a litre each per day. I feed them by hand and each plant gets 2litres every other day. Didn't do anything else this week other than install the trellis on the last day. This plant is at the back of the timelapse video.

Day 18 Last day vegetation

Great grow, great strain and a nice harvest. Only difference I would make is having more space and light for her as I had quiet a few strains running along side her. Well done BARNEYS farm. Thanks for the opportunity to grow her.

We have 3 clones, 2 just regular clones taken in veg and 1 clone a few weeks later once in the early budding of the flower. Will be a good side-by-side visual comparison of the benefits of monstercropping. They have been kept at a minimal photosynthetic rate for 3-4 weeks under predominantly blue light 💙 to try to shorten internodal spacing. (Yes it could be faster) No rushhhhh. Starting diary at week 1 germination but in reality, they are fully stabilized and at least a month old. Just to get stuck right in I decided to super crop the base of the stem early hoping it creates a strong knuckle. This may backfire incredibly, only time will tell. Also topped it too, never topped a flower bud before but oh well, if this wee plant survives it's gonna be something. Initially, I wanted to start it in a regular pot as this creates a solid rootball base before upsizing it to air-pots.

Nervous and excited as it's my first grow. 1700hrs on the 1st I put them both in separate glasses and used bottled/spring water. PH was over 7.3 so I Ph'd it down to 6.4/5. Both have sunk to bottom of glasses by morning. All good so far. Still deciding whether to go paper towel next or wait and go straight into coco coir. Bit of a trial run about to go down 🤣. I feel like even with all the best equipment in the world, without some sound knowledge and some commitment and dedication youl still pull a shitty grow. Wish me luck..... Quick update! Once they dropped I decided to put them in their coco perlite mix, was advised by a gro shop dude to pop them in the mix now that they've dropped in a glass of water he said they'll be sweet 🤞🙏. Please dude 🤣🤣🤣🤣. He also said to get some canna A+B put through the mix beforehand as coco got no nutes and itl do the seedlings good. So I've gone on his advice but minimal amounts. Popped about 8ml of both in 2l of tap water, could have been 5,6, or 7ml aswell tbf only by eye. So got home and sorted that. Soil seems moist enough but not soaked. Now there potted I'm just hoping and praying for some good old smoke🤞🤞🤞🤟👊👊. Il keep the updates coming. Any feedback always welcome I'm not a dick. Don't be a dick either. Peace!..... Hey guys! Sorry for the big delay since my previous grow! Right now I'm growing some babies from Royal Queen Seeds! Kali Dog! 😃 The first week was calm! The babies broke out from their shells rather fast and two babies grew out of their jiffy pods rather fast! Also, since the strain is Kali Dog I decided to name each of the plants with a different dog name! I'm still unsure about the names but the first two are called Roko and Max! For the first time I also noticed the first buds looked... different? You'll be able to see them in the photos tho... and once again two of my babies are suffering from helmet head 😰 But eh, I'm used to it. Gladly it's an easy error to fix. I'll try to make a longer timelapse (these were bad!) but I didn't know my camera battery wasn't enough for long sessions 😝 Anyway, thanks for reading! See you all next week! 👋

week 9 was another great easy week she is growing like a champ I think I'm in 😍 💘.. Hoping for no hitches from here till harvest shouldnt be to hard

After strength training and taking a cutting off the tall one to the left, all plants are at 90cm. I also removed the two lowest branches for cuttings. The two on the right have much less of a Sativa shaped leaf and also grew very quickly even in the rain and thunderstorms! All seem to have recovered from strength training and growing vigorously!

Day 73: everything is looking amazing, the girl in the back are still stretching, this is pretty sick. But I’ll just let them grow now. Day 74: one plant is an absolute BEAST! She will take a little longer to flower but she’ll be worth it! Plant 1 is a little over fed but she’s growing in size each day.
