Switching to Flo !!! Adding Bio Boost 250 W to 400 W

Well we are on to week 7, and what a start. I have nicknamed the first one Hulk. It will not stop growing. I defoliate at the end of every week now. I looks like a giant pile of fan leaves when I'm done, but the plants still look full and lush. I was hoping to see some actual flowers by now but nothing as of yet. Maybe by the end of this week they will start to poke out. I did not anticipate such a stretch. This is my first time using this system and it seems to be working rather while. I am trying to go without changing the water now. I want to keep them at this ec for a few weeks so I have been topping up with nutrient water and so far they seem to like it. As long as they stay green and the water stays clear I will continue like this. They are drinking about 2 gallons a day now and eating just as fast. Growing is a true art and I find myself really starting to enjoy the training. I want to make it bigger and better. Already making plans for the next grow. Soil is drying a lot better now because of the improved airflow. nov 15. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.05. about 250 ml nov 18. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.05. about 250 ml nov 20. megacrop 1.06gr/litre ph'ed at 6.3. about 400 ml nov 20. LSTed against the net in the back. Changed the LED position and upped it to about 75% from around 50%

So I harvested 1 Grlato Cake seed 🙃22 Gelato cake × Dosi-punch, & 18 Gelato cake × Lamb's Bread. Already germinating the gelato × dosi mix. Excited to start the next diary

All plants are flowering now :) Day 62 picture is missing because I was not at home on this day, sorry for that. The dehumidifier is still always ON to get +/-50% humidity. Weather is still wet outside. I poor +/- 2l in each pot during each watering (a little bit more for the 26l pots). I started to use some BioBizz/Bio-Bloom for the Mandarin Punch #2. I think it lacks of nutrients because of the smaller pot and since I added the nutrient, it looks like it's not getting worse. I made the second and probably last big defoliation. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 116cm (+28) O.G. Kush : 72cm (+12) Mandarin Punch #1 : 127cm (+13) Mandarin Punch #2 : 117cm (+22)

As we enter day 23 of flower, we now have Bud development, fingers crossed

My little potential mutant is chugging along, on the new growth now the middle 3rd leaflet is dwarfing and looks to be paling off/dying while it seems to focus only on some leaves! Edit: its definately mutating or something lol iv never seen this before! And the seed was like 3 Times the size of a normal seed 🤣

PAR 450 PPFD LST is really the best way to spread your plants horizontally without stressing them. Within 2 to 3 days they bounce back and start to make new branches from the now horizontal nodes. I also looked into VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and recommend you should do too if you want your plants to be happy all the time. Day 45. Plants have grown huge in last week. Tallest one about 65cm. At its closest point the light is 6 inch. The bud sites furthest away are about 18 inch. Trying g to even out the canopy with some success. Just using the string method of LST and also moving the pot around to get an even amount of strong light.

She had her issues and is not a big yielder. But she makes up for it in beauty and aroma! Another week in the books and significant growth as I increase dosage of nutrients, closer to 100% full dosage. I have read mixed messages about feeding every watering, to every other, to once a week...full strength, 1/2 strength, etc etc. I decided to ease into the nutes and work my way up, and feed only weekly. Less is more! Wait for her to get a little bigger and more mature and will feel better feeding at 100% full dosage. Did some more LST, pulling down higher stems and continue to build the table. Day 37: more growth; did some light defoliation to open up center; raised light to 18" (was at 15" in some spots) as it continues to grow. Day 41: more growth; transplanted into 5 gal fabric pot; installed ScROG and will continue veg stage until rest of the plant catches up to at least a few inches above the screen

Another great week for the girls, I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed leave under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
