Day 57 - The girls are bursting with flower....... looked abit light (the main tops looked a light green, showed signs of nutrient deficiencies), so upped the Dutch Master Gold One Flower, it's 1000 ppm now.... thinking about Defoliation... outside temperatures are middle of winter, 0oC to 20oC (32oF to 70oF) .... but typical high low is 5-15oC (40-60oF)......... surprisingly the LED's warm the tent upto 20-24oC, this is important point.... i am running the lights, 6 pm to 6 am... 12hrs lights on all night, and all day is night mode...... during the day is the highest temps of the day... and during the lowest temps, they have the light heat ....... Day 61 - I trimmed em .... this was the third defoliation..... things are starting to get sticky..... ah i'm just going to wing it.... they are 2 months (8 wks) from seed.... idk what i'm doing....... i did some serious stress bending today, and had to put afew tie downs in..... my theory is to hurt em as much as i can without killin em.... to make em harder, stronger, faster, more stressed, so they can survive anything..... grow em stronger...... the smell is zero in the home, but once i got them out for their 2 week haircut, they started producing some strong wet kisses, that were sticky and wet.... the aroma of heavenly ladies was abundant...... 😎😎 idk... this tastes so good.... it's like some kind of weird berry combo goodness.... i'm vaping vanilla custard atm and this is so good with vanilla custard.... vanilla custard kush n cookies... haha watch the video......... 😎

The plants are doing good but I noticed two days ago the ones in the cloth pots and old soil were nut burned. I mixed more dirt up with the Kellogg soil and repotted the four that are showing nut burn. I shook off most of the soil on the roots, too. The ones in the 5 gallon pots are doing fantastic! They are larger and have better leaves. I think I caught the issue with the other four in time, but we shall see. No other changes

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. Lookin good and the plant is pretty much on cruise control

Great week with this gals. BIG GAINS! Over 5 inches of upward growth in a week, and tons of flower. These are gonna be BIG girls! Introduced a light feeding of flora trio. 5ml of each per gallon and 5ml per gal of calimagic. Introduced some light defoliation this week as well. So far so good. I actually moved these girls from the hps to the brand new HLG Diablo 650r. Im able to fit all 10 plants in my grow under the one light, so I will save on heat and electric and give the Diablo a whirl. I expect some major swelling this coming week! First day of the 4th week. The autopot system was initiated for CBD3 and CBD4, as their roots reached the bottom of the pot. The reservoir was prepared and adjusted to a pH of 5.8. Now, the plants take control of their water needs. CBD5 will be submerged in water the following day, C22. The air pump operates on the light cycle (18 hours on, 6 hours off). A magnesium deficiency was detected. Several sprays with Epsom salt were applied. 3.5 grams per 1 liter.

Been a rough week and you can see she’s struggling with the heat! It’s been over 95 degrees for a few days now and I’ve been watering the daylights out of her. Kinda stunted from the heat.

This girl is SO FROSTY, unfortunately due to careless mistakes on my part her growth appears to have stunted. Either way I'm very pleased with the phenotypical expression in this plant, definitely good genetics that I will be taking another shot at next grow.

As the grow is overcoming the loss of Eleven Roses, the space on the net is being distributed with the other strains. the other advantage, is that the text pot can be used by the other plants of the ground to colonize( i checked that the mass root is connected between pouchs. ANOTHER IMPORTANT ADDITION as now i have the space , is a 100w flat Panel in a vertical like distribution to reinforce low & mid branchs as i suppose this was the reason some plants died. There is a bit of nute burn from the last foliar sprays before its too risky as it can summon mold , but not acute enough to slow down plant bud formation. I will keep using barrier but rather wathering than spray in order to contain plagues, but it can also help a bit on flowering pecause it's high potassium level. The Flowering Food is based on Hesi Boost, Top Candy and Top Bloom, a pretty basic sugar based scheme, but i preffer to not use much products and stick with the neccesary ones ( according to my criteria) Kind Regards

The weather has been absolutely pants. Cold and wet and windy. Typical UK 😅. Most the girls are into pre flower now and some are showing colour. It’s difficult keeping all fed especially with the rain but no major drama so far.
