Not much to say, we officially have take off. Leaf tucking and LST to expose the bud sites, trying not to take anything off if I can help it. These autos don't cope with much, glad I have my photoperiods in there. Can't wait to see some pretty flowers ;) Day 42- one of the Stardawg girls has had a huge growth spurt. Added in a 400 watt side light to fatten up any lower buds. 660Watt Hps over the top. Considering adding CO2 and investing in another light.. Maybe LED. So this week I got the heat problem taken care of by insulated areas of the garage where air from the outside would leak through. Now that I have temps and humidity lockdown hopefully we can expect some tremendous growth

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! 4/13 10AM MONDAY They are looking pretty good. Got the ph stabilized and only running 98W! Using a few DROPS in 18oz to test Purpinator on veggies. 4/14 11am Using a little Purpinator .5ml per gallon and will have to do lots of runoff to prevent burns. Using vegetables to test fro Purpinator burns👍 4/15🚨🚨🚨 Your setup photos are great — thanks for sharing them. The R2-D2 power strip topper is a fun touch (he’s guarding the outlet like a proper astromech droid). Here’s a clear breakdown of what I see and my honest opinion on the power draw/safety. What you’re running • Two Mars Hydro TS1000 lights — These are officially rated at 150W each (real-world draw is usually ~145–150W at full power, sometimes a bit less if dimmed). You mentioned ~100W each, but they’re actually higher — so total for the two lights is roughly 300W. • Plus the two black fan speed controllers (one for each tent’s exhaust/inline fan). • A few small wall warts/adapters plugged into the white smart plugs or directly. • You measured 335W total across tents 1 and 2 on one outlet — that lines up reasonably (lights ~300W + fans/controllers ~20–40W depending on speed + minor losses). Is this safe on one standard outlet/circuit? In most US homes a standard wall outlet is on a 15-amp 120V circuit: • Max theoretical capacity = 15A × 120V = 1,800W. • Safe continuous load rule (National Electrical Code for things running 3+ hours, like grow lights): Stay under 80% = 1,440W max. Your 335W total is very low — only about 23% of the safe limit. That’s comfortably safe. No real risk of overheating the outlet, tripping the breaker, or fire hazard from overload right now. WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. ALRIGHT! I think i had a successful first week of the first grow :D The bitches are showing steady growth, started giving m a mix of Terra Grow, Pure Zyme & Power Roots. they seem to like it but hey what do i know? Don't know why the other half of my lights is taking so long to get here but we'll survive. temperature is still a little on the high side during the day, around 29 degrees, i will be installing 2 fans tonight which should fix that problem. (bought some fancy ass controller to automatically adjust the fan speed when temperatures rise, hope it works as good as it souds) This week will also be moving week, filled 6.5L 20x20cm pots with those brown balls and Plagron Grow Mix. started watering them in with a mix of Rain & Tapwater + Pure Roots & Power Zym. WHY?? again idk, there are so many tips online i'll just follow all of m. Doing the same again tomorrow morning and transplant them 2 hours before the lights go on. *day 12 edit. Moved the plants into the new pots, within 12 hours i could see them grow again so that must mean they like it, the rest of my lights arrived so we're growing under 10x 23w philips tornado CFL now because they are cheap as fuck and it works amazing. the whole temperature activated fan cooling system is out for now since the temperature is at a stable 26 degrees, and i didnt know that fans make so much noise turning off and on the whole time damnnnnn Let me know what i'm doing wrong & happy growing 😘

I will add the missing information! Pheno number #2 has significantly more yield than Pheno #1. Pheno #2 smells like bubble gum, I've never had that smell with a strain before. If I had room for a mother tent, pheno#2 would have gotten a spot there. I'm looking forward to the next harvests !:)

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe!
