Que hay familia, vamos con la sexta semana de floración de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Las flores van formandose progresivamente y empieza a desprender unos aromas bastante dulces, también empiezan a tricomar bien y a madurar. A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

She getting old. Stinky and chunky. Seeds are developing on time. She was hand pollinated with mace widow fem pollen from sts.

She looks good. I didn't add any nutrients this week. To be honest, I hardly add anything during the season when I compare to other grows. Trichromes look like an arm holding a sphere. No T-tops like on skunk variants, maybe later. We will see. Colors are starting to vary on the plant from golden to baby blueish and solid canna-green. It's hard to believe she's got 2 more months to go, but the trichromes are a tell-tale since they are mostly clear with some milky-ness beginning to develop. Caterpillars continue to cause havoc. Looking out to spot them. Watering has become less of an issue with the temperatures leveling off in low eighties. Plant is thirsty as expected for this time of year.

And in to soil she goes, and she is strong af, moving fast and furious with no intentions on stoping any time soon , i can already tel this will be a fun horse to manage hahaha loving it all !!!!!! Santa has been working hard so he can give out lots of smelly xmas presents. He has also been working on taking better pics of the buds. Ps. My tent is in my closet in my office (I have been WFH for 2 years). Nothing better on a stressful day than opening up the tent and staring into the green, my type of therapy. Has helped me get through my last semester of gradschool while also working full time.

for a week now they have started to take root. you can see how the plants consume their nutrients and turn yellow. in the next few days they should start to grow. the system runs perfectly and is ready to grow. :-) a few have already been sorted out until there are 4 plants left at the end.

I believe it's genetic ! 😎 Also changed lights to 16-8 and red spectrum turned to 50%, prepare her for the flip!..... 09/05/2018 Noticed i noticed in the last pic a little fert burn 🔥 but that's why I increase it slow 🐌 but got decent amount of growth so onto 1/2strength for next reservoir change in week 5 .😎

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So far so good. pH levels are stable and plants seem off to a good start. I gave them an extra boost of fluvic and humic acids for better nutrient uptake at the roots along with other benefits. Although it will of only been 6 days tomorrow since the last water change, i plan on doing it tomorrow at day 6. For the reason of keeping the system clean and sterile ill be doing a change every 7-10 Days. Day 12.. had to top up the nutrients as she was showing calcium and magnesium deficiency or the start of, but we will see. Other than that things are going well. Only issue is water temp as i dont yet have a chiller. Stay tuned
