Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. We will start to check the tricomes next week but i think that some more time is needed, the buds are nice and fat and have a tremendous smell, great strain, specially if you like something easy to grow, its really a pleasure growing this strain, i took some monster crops some weeks ago and have a separate diary for these 😁

Day 29 they recover from topping and they are not stressed anymore. Will remove some yellow leaves. Day 32 performed the second topping today.

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

Unfortunately one Cfl lamp burned a part of a leaf on the FIM.Pistils are visible in all plants🌱. A part of them turned a bit darker. Girls are now growing a bit faster.Lst seems to work fine.

This was my first time growing a photoperiod and I decided to put her outside along with some autoflowers this past summer. I started Purple Shot Photoperiod Fem. from Exotic Seeds in a one liter air pot and moved her into a 5 gallon phat sack on day 14 when she was 2.5 inches tall.🌱🌱🌱 By the start of week three she was 6.5 inches tall and looking quite happy in her new five gallon home. A short while later she was moved outside to adjust to her new environment.☀️☀️☀️☀️ By day 35 she was 16.5 inches tall and developing a nice bushy structure. She started to flower towards the end of week 10 By week thirteen it was evident this girl was going to be making some nice tight lil nuggets 😁 By week fourteen I could hardly take my eyes off of her as she started to show her fall colors. I harvested her on day 130 18wk 4d She was 43" tall and looking pretty as can be. Her nuggets are not large but they are hard as rocks and sticky as fuck. The original plan was to turn all the outside plants into hash but I like this one too much just the way she is 😋 After a nine day dry and month and a half to cure the dry weight for this girl was 78.50g / 2.80 oz ✌️😎💨

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and not sure if she’ll make it to week 12. Still doesn’t have the percent of amber that I’m looking for so she’s still going. Gonna flush her tough tomorrow with some sledgehammer and pH’d water. Day 72 - Still not ready for chop but she’s plumping up quite a bit. Gave her 1.5 gallons of water with foxfarm’s sledgehammer and hopefully can get all the nute pushed out so she can finish strong. Day 73 - Getting closer but she’s still not there yet so hopefully this next week she’ll start bulking up more and trichs amber before chopping. She’ll keep going until the trichs are how I want them. Day 74 - She’s still chugging along and not quite ready yet. Each day she fills up with more trichs and not at the milky too amber ratio I’m looking for. Hopefully by the end of the week. Day 75 - Thinking she’ll be ready for chop this weekend. Nothing else really going on, just waiting to chop. Not sure if I should continue giving her water or just let her dry up until she’s done. Day 76 - Still just waiting on this girl to finish. Whenever I think she’s close, she throws a million more clear trichs at me so really no clue now when she’ll be finished. Might do one more push of foxfarm sledgehammer tomorrow and then just let her be till she’s done. Try and get as much nutes out of her and I can. Day 77 - End of week 11 and flushed her with a gallon of water and 15ML of Foxfarm Sledgehammer, PPM is down to about 223 so hopefully she’ll go into her final push and be ready for chop sometime this weekend. Still not a whole lot of amber trichs so until she’s got the ratio I want, she’ll keep going.

Harvest day, you’d think I’d be excited and I was until last night. I’ve had to have my oldest Cat put down due to health reason 😿 I almost can’t be bothered to do this update, but here I am 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ it’s only one more entry. I harvested this plant at day 58 of flower, it feels like she matured and finished quite fast, always a good trait. Her buds are rock solid to the touch and almost wet with trichomes, if that makes sense?! I took some pictures just prior to harvesting her. She’s now hanging on a peg hanger in my drying tent, cut into individual branches. She took barely any time all all to trim, she’s got a high bud to leaf ratio and everything I cut off will be dried, frozen and sifted to make Rosin. No waste at all. I aim to dry between 10-14 days, I generally keep the RH around 55% and the temp fluctuates around 18*C. She’s been an easy plant to grow and I’d recommend these genetics, In House have really outdone themselves with this one! I don’t usually do this, but I’m dedicating this grow to my late Cat Poochim. (I’ve added some pictures of him) I got him when he was a little kitten and I was just a teenager, 20 years later and I’ve had to say goodbye to a very old friend 🖤

31.01. F29 Overall, everything is still running according to plan, although powdery mildew is starting to become more noticeable again. Control measures remain consistent and ongoing. Compared to the previous Super Buff Cherry run, the situation is much better under control, mainly because countermeasures are being applied earlier and more actively this time. The goal is to get the mildew issue fully resolved in the coming weeks. Aside from that, the Blueberry Skunks are performing exceptionally well. The automatic irrigation system clearly contributes to stable, low-stress growth, and the Biotabs nutrient system continues to impress. The difference compared to earlier runs is very noticeable, especially considering how little manual input is required. All in all, this is a solid run, and despite the mildew challenge, it already creates a lot of anticipation for the harvest. 05.02. F34 Unfortunately, powdery mildew has become noticeably more present again and has clearly spread compared to last week. So far, the infestation is fortunately limited to the fan leaves, although it is visibly more pronounced there than it was a week ago. The plants were treated again with a water–Purolyt solution to actively counter the issue. The current focus is clearly on containing the mildew and closely monitoring how the situation develops. Relative humidity is currently around 53 %. The goal is to bring it below 50 % (ideally around 48 %), as powdery mildew struggles significantly more below this threshold. Even a difference of just a few percentage points can make a noticeable impact. Aside from this, the grow continues to perform very well overall. Biotabs is once again outstanding, delivering excellent results with very simple handling. The Gardena drip Blumat system is working flawlessly, and all key parameters remain well balanced. Thrips were only present at a very minimal level. After a single nematode application, no further signs have been observed so far. The focus remains on keeping the powdery mildew under control.

Sooo frosty 👏🏾 I’m going to hopefully see some amber trichomes this week to justify harvesting on Christmas! Most definitely harvesting one plant on Christmas and one on new year’s due to the maturity rate on one plant.

20/06/24 (FD 22): Stretch is about done, the smaller skunk plant decided to overtake it's sister and measures now nearly 60cm! I felt like the ladies really needed a haircut, so I gave them a nice one. Took off ~1/3 of the lower leaves + shoots and a bunch of upper fan leaves to bring down humidity & allow for a better air circulation! Weather is still quite shit and it's hard to get dry air during the night time, I just hope I have a good enough ventilation system to prevent mold... Also cranked up the mars hydro TS1000 to 100% and I hope buds will swell nicely from now on!

Black Opium is head- 'banging it' with her long hairs! (I susppect its the CANNAZYM who is responsible for this.. 👍its great stuf it turnes the dead stuff*roots* in the soil into nutes!) She is growing great, despite of the bad weather we were having last days.. Now sun has returned for a while.. Well after splitting the Girls up due to space it’s looking like the HPS Ladies are almost ready looking we’ll ahead of LED ones also buds are fatter with HPS but would say the LED ones look healthier looking if that makes sense

even with the growth of my zombie kush ... was fed today with earthworm humus and red guano ... every 15 days .... she taking a smell of mint and pine more and more ... and follows the fat of your buds ... waiting for you to take that purple tone on the part of your buds
