Everything has been growing great this week! These autos sure do grow fast! but did have a slight issue with the Fast buds BlackBerry getting a little bit too top heavy so I moved her closer to the light. Week 4 of flowering shows strong structural development with many evenly distributed bud sites and the first signs of stacking. The canopy opened up well after selective defoliation, allowing light to reach the second layer, while resin production and bud formation continue to accelerate.

Budding nice but very weak smell. Very shiny. 1 in the corner looks like she is almost finished but very yellow leaves. Other 3 are doing fine.

Allright guys & gals, In my Quest to mastering the art of growing my own bud I've reached the classic, overfeeding point but i've decided to just dile it down a gear and keep at it...I'm amazed with the Northern Lights blooming, it looks way readier then the Diesel Haze, eventhough it was planted 2 full weeks after. the budsare smaller still, but fostier and just looking riper....I have noticed the bigger leaves getting some nasty nuteburn (or at least I guess thats what it is) . I will definately go super easy on the nutes next grow. ....Trust the process.... Update... The NL is suffering quite a bit... Update... Giving just water the next times to see if they recover... Pistils becoming brown now and smell slowly getting stronger...

Ok, so things are moving faster now. I checked the trichomes for the first time this week and they are pretty much all milky in the buds at the top and the middle. The lower buds have somewhat more clear trichomes, and I might have been more radical when I did perform the lollipop. The plant in the back right corner started to get a little purple on the leafs at the buds, which I think looks pretty cool. Harvest time could be within the next week, pretty sure still this month. I am waiting to see some amber in the trichomes like 10%ish and will leave them in 48h of darkness afterwards. I am still playing with the idea of a partial harvest, but I don't have well controlled options to dry my flowers outside of the Growbox. So I do not want to risk anything by a lack of airflow or potentially a humidity that could be off. I hope the buds will pack some more this week to come. Sensi Seeds says it is a medium harvesting plant, so I'll see what I'll get. I definitely want to let them have clear water one last time before harvest, because I gave them nutrients up until now. I would love to see more changes in the colours of the leafs and the plant eating itself up, to not have any unnecessary nitrogen with an impact on the taste. Sensi Seeds says this strain needs 7-10 weeks of flower so we are well within that time schedule.

The plants (especially the Blueberry Headband) is drinking a lot! Roots are looking great and bud production is excellent! CBD is now developing trichomes and a great lemony aroma. 👉The final dry weight, which was 369g (13oz) is just buds, no trim or larf. Just Good big buds. Great plant overall. Had a phosphorus issue that lingered, it foxtailed at the end and in the last day hermie bitz appeared on almost every branch end cola. Sturdy branches, lots of food factories. Wonderful aroma that wasn't as stanky as most. Spend 4 hours trimming. Started at the bottom and worked my way up. I put the end cola of each branch on its own label clothes pin and hung on a rack. Each cola was weighed wet and cataloged. after 24 hrs I started putting each cola in a paper bag and the net buds in a larger bag. It took 5 days to reduce the dry weight to under 30%. When they hit this mark they went into the jars which were labeled according to their documented location. I figured the weigh reduction percentage by comparing weighs from the initial wet trimmed weight. In each jar I also added a hygrometer. Surprisingly the RH of almost ever jar was under 58%. None of the jars required any burping to remove excess humidity. At that point I added moisture 62% moisture packs and put the jars in the closet. I sampled bud J till this writing. It didn't start getting tasty till the 4 week mark.

Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2. 05/30/2019 What a week she responded well to the 12 - 12 light cycle flip and is in BEAST mode , check out last weeks pic before the light change to 12 - 12 she is lower than the green cross brace in background after 1 week she's made great progress, this week start defoiliating and watching for real flowers to start building up.

June 21 Fed less than a half gallon of water yesterday evening. Getting really big now! Gonna step up the LST to help keep the size managed.
