Week 4 of Vegetation To be honest, I'm on the verge of calling this grow off. The little one is just so puny... I probably made too many mistakes at the start, and I'm not sure if the cold weather in the first few weeks played a part in it either. Well, a second Purple Lemonade is ready to take its place.

It's going well, I think the plant will be topped next week.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hi :) it’s 10th week in my happy grow :) girls looks lovely, Smell is awesome I think terminator does it’s job :)generally I’m so proud of my girls, of course it was not without mistakes but it is my second indoor experience so still learning from mistakes :) this way we will come to perfection :) new project from fastbuds is on the way! check what’s coming! :) happy Sunday for everyone, peace! Alots transpired but not really lol. Chopped 3 so far for being male and as you can see this week I may (99% sure) have another male. I’ve given one light feed of Cronk grow, kelp me kelp you, and some cal mag. So looks like I’ll be taking 3 into flower which is all I wanted to know before spent too much effort and time on em. Prolly transplant the 2 smaller ones this week and just continue to wait it out. I know next time I could wait a few weeks before popping new beans if they’re regs atleast…

Empiezan a engordar los cogollos creo que he cometido un pequeño error con el LST los amarres se soltaron y se volvieron completamente locas, mucha resina mucho olor parecen bollos buena estructura buen olor y a ver engordar estas preciosas cepas sigo sin cambiar nada todo sigue igual temperatura humedad lo único que queda es apretar bien esos cogollos, y intentar sacar el máximo provecho! 😋 Que os parecen dejarme en los comentarios vuestras opiniones!! Un breve resumen de esta planta sería "La Green Gelato de RQS ha sido todo un descubrimiento". Empezamos el cultivo a mediados/finales de mayo. Se plantó directamente en la maceta final de 17l. Desde ese momento hasta la fecha de corte solo se regó con agua, durante toda la vida de la planta no se aplicó ningún tipo de fertilizante ni en crecimiento ni en floración. No tuvo ningún apoyo por parte de focos, se utilizó únicamente la luz del sol. Cuando llovía se ponían bajo techo para evitar la aparición de hongos o moho. No hay mucho mas que destacar ya que para el cuidado que se le dio, las fotos hablan por si solas. No hay duda de la calidad de este banco y de sus genéticas. Nota; Al final de la floración hubo aparición de hongos, se retiraron y no hubo mas problemas.

Started about four days ago . I got gifted some autoflower testers, so though I would do another run under the 100w Easy grow miracle. I have two of each strain one is Tangie Monkey Auto - Sourtangie x gg4 x bikerkush x ruderalis. The other is Bananangie - Strawberry banana x tangiemonkey x ruderalis . Both sound good and I have grown two of their ( gg4 x biker kush ) crosses before. I am surprised more people don't grow island seed seeds. Plants are in 7 litres two plants in Biobizz light mix with added perlite and two plants in dutch Vega lightmix with perlite. I have added an additional handful of perlite to each mix along with Bio grow from greenhouse feed. They have been given a water with Plagron roots. 0.5 ml per litre.

2 days into flower still not sure of any males in the mix. Keeping my fingers crossed. The females with the burgundy color show in the first 3 weeks of flower the dark purple veins in the leaves. So hope I get a few of those phenoms.
