Trichome Takeover! ❄️🍰 : The Cake is Frosting Up! Welcome to Week 8! This Wedding Cake Auto is really living up to her name now. The "stretch" from the previous weeks has finally settled, and she is focusing all her energy on stacking those buds. The frost is becoming much more apparent trichomes are starting to crawl onto the sugar leaves, and the scent is getting deeper and more doughy every time I open the tent. I’m really impressed with how she handled the topping and LST earlier on; the canopy is nice and even, and every bud site is getting a prime spot under the Agyrochy LED. Feeding & Environment: Watering: She’s getting thirsty! I’ve maintained a steady watering schedule, making sure to keep the pH around 5.5-6.0 as she bulks up. Nutrients: Continuing with the mix. She seems to be loving the current PPM levels (around 800), so I’m sticking to the plan without pushing too hard. Zamnesia really knocked it out of the park with these genetics. Low effort, high reward so far! Can't wait to see how much more she swells in the coming days.

All right so here we are and again I am shocked by how much abuse this girl has taken not only by me but by the medium it originated in which killed another plant so this girl at a young age had to be tough and that willingness to live and resilience has gotten us to where we are today.. WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS big thank you to you as this grow has been 24 years in the making.. since an amateur grower in Bridgeport Connecticut very close to where I was born handed this clone over to someone who has kept it alive for all these years and not only am I able to smoke it but I'm able to grow it how awesome is that... Back in 2000 I was 14 at the time and I had a subscription to high times that my mom got me and my room walls were covered with bud shots and posters one of them being a centerfold of strawberry cough and it has been something since that day I have yearn for.. as you guys can see she's coming along great and I couldn't be happier... I think in the future I'm not going to train so much because it just takes so much time for the plant to recoup and I'd much rather have a 3-month grow than a 5 month.. but because of what it is I will make an exception this time I don't care if it took 7 months this has been like I said a long time coming... Did LST and topped Pheno 1 & 2, 3 is too funky to mess with. I think PH was just my issue and possible too high intensity light as I lowered to 60%, but also brought my PH to 6.5 so I'm guessing that helped too.

Flipped the lights 6 days ago and already they have grown about 6". This strain will continue to stretch for another 2 weeks before starting to fill with bud sites. Im aiming for a total flowering time of 65-70 days. Ill be watching the stretch and monitoring when the clones are Perfectly mature for harvest.

This strain was easy to grow right from seed. I think it will be one of my favourite strains this grow. Time to dry and cure. I will report the weight when dry. 💚✌️🏼

A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out. Hi all! This girl does not even think of maturing yet .. the buds are getting fluffier and denser! the leaves began to slowly turn yellow and turn purple hues. I really hope and want that she would show 100% of her goetinics expressed in colors! in other aspects, I believe that I was able to achieve the maximum and grow a plant that fully reflects her genetics! I am 100% satisfied with the result! I hope that @GreenHouseSeeds will appreciate my work.

The plant is showing signs of being completely ready and I decided to test the Myth of putting the plan 48 hours in darkness one plant I decided to chop it down right away the other one I will put it in 48 hours of darkness and I'm going to see if there is any true difference in flavour and taste or Racine since both plans are clones they should be identical in end so any true difference between them will show If there is any truth to the myth or put it down as a false. Despite being lots of mistakes along the way and suffering a lot from many different issues the plant has grown nicely in the garden and it has thrive in the Canadian environment. I will update later on when the plans are completely dry and I cut it for for the curing process and also for check out how heavy they are thank you for reading have a happy grow. After three weeks in curing process there is no true difference between both of them neither a bag of peel but unfortunately the one that I cut first retain more flavor and smell typical of the plant rather than the one that was left 48 hours in darkness the only thing I have not test is for rosin production because my machine have not arrived yet other than that the one that I not allowed any dark. Has better high better flavour and better smell than the other one this doesn’t mean that the 48 hrs. Doesn’t have any validation this only proves that in my garden I have no practical application for this technique . Thank you for reading have a happy grow

Date: 30.09.2024 So the green gelato is doing fine inside shes kinda starting to turn purplish red on some parts of her buds. The 2 Lemon Cherrys are still outside Im starting to lose hope for the 2 girls but fck it hope will still get smth out. Date: 04.10.2024 Sooo I think that the gelato is going to get chopped down in the next 2-3 weeks. The 2 Lemon Cherrys aint getting any where with the weather atm so I think im just gone give them a few more weeks and hopefully this strain will be good enough for a bit of rosin or IceOLator

09/04 - So I'm germinating in a Root Riot pellet which was soaked in 5.5pH'd water. Should be up in a couple of days - check back!! Thanks so much to @SwissKush and @Hashy for the guidance and the courage to try this new way of growing - at least new to me! For 70+ years, I've only grown things in soil but a day not learning something new is a day wasted... and no, that is NOT a picture of me in that meme! LOL! 09/07 - I HAVE A ROOT!!!! The cotelydon has yet to make an appearance, BUT I HAVE A ROOT!!!!! She will be set on the bucket this morning to continue her journey. And she's now in the bucket, air pump is on, water at 5.8pH.. This afternoon, the seedling broke through and I removed most of the cling film covering the pot... I can't wait to see how much she grows over night!! YAY!!!! Talk about "FAST buds" ... WOW! 09/08 - Added a few more clay pieces and gave the seedling 1tsp water twice today. Bucket only needed about 1/4 gallon to top up to just under the pot... 09/09 - moved her into her new home and all is well. She had been stretching a little too much for my liking when she had to share the light with my other FastBuds grow which are well into flower... moving her to her OWN home now allows me to get the light closer to her and she's appreciative! 09/10 - I didn't get to take a pic of her on Day 3 - completely slipped my mind! She is soon going to take off - her new home is a funky little space that measures APPROXIMATELY 32"x32"x7' - more than enough room for her to grow as big as she wants! 09/11 - Day 5 of this little one's life... and she's getting bigger and bigger... can't wait for her roots to hit the water! I'm loving the Root Riot - gives her good nutrition to help her grow in this early stage.. Shout out to @FastBuds - this one's going to be GREAT!!! 09/12 - Day 6 and tomorrow, I get to add another week to this diary! But what I REALLY want is for her roots to hit the water! I can't wait! I'm ready to replace all the water in my bucket tomorrow and add 1/2 strength of my DaKine420 nutes so that when those roots hit the water, there will be something for them to latch onto and GROW!!!! Love these nutes but can't find anyone who is growing with them here and they don't come up on the list when I'm filling in the weekly nute information. Been wanting to grow this strain for a while now so many people have grown it and it had huge buds I’m excited. Everything I have grown from fastbuds so far grows really well

At least one if the ladies is ready to harvest. Just made a final check with the microscope and i think she is ready. I could wait a bit more for more amber heads but i think thats ok.
