Hello Growers & Tokers! The route to having a jungle starts with the roots! That's why my main goal in those first 14-21 days is developing the root system. I like to give them time to expand the roots which is very important for a healthy plant. That also gives them more time to get bigger and stronger before going into flower. More growth, more bud sites, more buds. Trust me the wait is worth the reward. We'll be seeing some truly sweet and zenzational flowers. This week they got transplanted to their final pot, 11L fabric pots. It's one step closer to getting that jungle, zenzational! Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. Let the mycorrhizae do its job and take over the soil, then the roots just follow. 14cm vertical growth this week. Flowering stretch reducing. Trichome production has started! She's starting to get frosty.

Another great looking plant from Barney’s. Everything from them I have grown has been strong and large and I would say very much commercially viable. I’m sure you could grow 20-30 plants and get a really good pheno with good structure and it be dank. Some breeders you could grow thousands of plants and never get one with good structure. That’s not true with Barney’s they have really good genetics

Last update for today but by no means least... Karen is now on day 107! She is still not ready but she is now foxtailing, presumably because of all the stress. I've been moving house so the plants and diaries have been badly neglected for 3 weeks. Two 9 day droughts, damage during move. Etc. For the last 3 weeks I have taken one cola off Karen each week to dry and smoke test. She is already stunning in flavor and potency. I am very excited for her eventual harvest.

Still only giving water at ph6.5. I will put them in 4 litre pots soon.

So on 12/14/21 opened tent to find leaves trying to get away from light, TS 3000 is a powerful light, at 24 inches from top of plants at 25% power it caused leaf folding. Adjusted light to 36 inches and dimmed light to 20%. Leaves are turning a darker shade of green and started praying again. Lesson learned know your light or get a watt meter cause 25% was close to 120 watts of LED. 12/15/21watered plants 100ml of water, except one which was still moist. Noticed green coming back strong now the lights at the right height.12/17/21 Plants fully recovered from my light. Looking vibrant green again.12/18/21 Nutrients fed. 12/19/21 plants are growing vigorously now that the conditions are right on.

10/08: i just switched the lights over to 12/12. I am pleased enough with how the grow phase has gone, though i made some mistakes, and i am frustrated with how significantly different these phenos have been in their grow patterns. The canopy isnt great, and two pf the plants are significantly taller than the others. And i simply was not able to train them the same. I took 3 cuttings of each and am hoping to propagate them and keep a mother of my favorite of the 4 plants, assuming any of them actually end up with color. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks as buds start to grow in. Fingers crossed for purple.

On Feb 24 applied LST, girls responded perfectly. Leaves tucking on daily basis. 2 watering with 1L each on Feb 24th (half nutrients dose) and second one on Feb 28 alongside with 2 foliar feedings(100ml water and fish mix). So far this grow is just a pure joy. Both girls are strong and healthy. Very good week. The new plants are 24 days old. That’s how they are supposed to look at that age! They will be much bigger plants than the others because all was dialed in for this new batch. With autos there can’t be anything off or they won’t really get to big (typically). The older plants 6-8 weeks old - will be excellent smoke still just not as big as they can get. Start of week 9. The smaller plants are 31 days old. All looking very very good. I upped the cal/mag The TD and LS will harvest in around 3weeks. I always run them close to 1-2 weeks past recommended. They really frost up and gain weight the last 2 weeks. Excited about the new plants. When they are dialed in I’ve gotten 3-7 Zips from each plant. Pretty amazing for soil grow. Hydro is faster in the beginning and sometimes the entire grow but soil when all on point can keep up with hydro (after a few weeks) and lots of time surpass hydro.
