Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. These optimisation techniques help both to control its size and structure and to maximise the harvest by enhancing bud production. Wonder Pie marijuana, with a balanced, euphoric and relaxing effect The harvest is ready after about 60-65 days with a yield of up to 550g per m2 cultivated in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of up to 800g per plant cultivated outdoors. It produces flowers completely covered with bright and aromatic resin, it is a good variety to perform Live Resin resin extractions and enjoy them greatly in a resin vaporiser. Wonder Pie offers a sweet and fruity aroma and flavour, with exotic gas touches that permeate the palate for a long-while and drive your taste buds crazy, particularly when inhaled using a cannabis vaporiser. It produces an intense effect of rapid appearance, combining a euphoric and psychedelic feeling with a pleasant body relaxation. It is ideal to consume it at any time of day. Green House Seed Wonder Pie info: Type: Feminised cannabis seed Genetics: Wedding Cake x OG Kush Indica Sativa hybrid Indoors flowering: 60-65 days Outdoors harvest: End of September Indoors yield: Up to 550g per m2 Outdoors yield: Up to 800g per plant For my Grow and entry I will be using soil with some added hydroton and perlite for extra drainage. All feeds will be from the Greenhouse feeding bio nutrients range, that came with the seeds for the purpose of this competition. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Hello everyone😎 Week 6 of flower for the LCC🍋🍒🍪 All the top buds harvested✂️ I had a lot of fun growing this strain🤩 The smell is absolutely out of this world…the colors…💜 I have 3 different pheno,all purple,some smells more citrus and the others more ripe cherries! One more week for the lower buds and finito I already feel nostalgic😜 *what’s coming out of the yuzu is essentials oil,every year I make Yuzucello feel free to ask me the recipe🍸🍋

She is lookin like an identical twin to my first blackberry and I love it. I love this strain. As an avid gardener, it's a beautiful flower just to have on display. She is moving along better than the WCOG and BDM even though she is in the same soil. No smell yet but I expect that unforgettable deep berry smell to kick in next week. I fed her the above ratio of nutrients today,

10/27 Week 5 PURPLE BUDS! This was unexpected even as a mystery strain Saw some unwanted bronzing on leaves, like its ever wanted, lets just say also unexpected. Best we can see is PH variances as possible issue, so there is that again. Just began on the middle leaves not top or bottom. So looking forward to the coco he is preparing, nice to know where you stand. Will watch and wait as the foliar spray did not help for certain. 10/29 Problem does not seem to be advancing - Soil PH confirmed at 6.7 so no problem there. 10/30 Feeding time Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 3 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) Trimmed off the damaged leaves where I could so if anything new arises it will be plain. See where it goes with the Flower Girl New Pics! My baby Krisabel is back! Her color her bearing her presence is restored! The change worked removed all dead zones since it stopped advancing, noticeable growth in just a couple of hours. Happy day 😁

It's just officially week 8 day 56 fron flip. Been on 10/14 schedule this week too. My select strain i kept clones of are very vigorous and u can still see some hairs on leaves. Also perfect buds. Early cut test makes u go in another universe. Both are sweet but the select one is mossy n sweet hint cheese maybe thats the best one. Other one is sweet af even before cure like skittlez but the shape n yield aint good foxy n small :( the other one has a taste that is rare and denser very long trichomes. Anywho from here i givem non npk goodies then ro flush few days before chop. If they are not finished b4 contest to mt taste, ill harvest like half of the branches or something....they'll get their pics and ad.

I started seeing some yellowing leaves. Went to buy some food graded Epsom salt and added it to te feeding schedule. Ordered some Sensi calmag extra. Apparently when filtering the water with reversed osmose, there is a good chance this deficiency could arise.

💜 8×8 Adventure – Week 13 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno B The Little Frosty Queen Is Not So Little Anymore… ❄️💜👑🌸 Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚 And... GUESS WHO FINALLY DECIDED TO SHOW UP PROPERLY FOR THE CAMERA? 😂📸 Our little Purple Haze Pheno B. And I have to say... I'm really, really happy we have the photographs this week. Because this girl deserves them. 💜❄️👑 For a long time, her story has been about being the smaller sister. The slower sister. The girl taking the scenic route while Pheno A was basically driving with the accelerator welded to the floor. 😂💜🚀 But now? Something has changed. She's stacking. She's growing. She's getting denser. She's getting frostier. And when I look closely at those flowers... HOLY SHIT. 😂❄️🌸 This girl may not be big in the same way her sister is... but she's definitely BIG. Just in her own way. She's compact. She's dense. She's incredibly frosty. She's developing some beautiful flower structure. And the amount of frost is getting to the point where even the leaves are starting to curl around those flowers under the weight of everything happening there. That's the kind of problem I don't mind looking at. 😂💜❄️ So this week... we finally get to give our Little Frosty Queen the proper spotlight she deserves. ──────────────────────── 🌱 WEEK 13 – THE LITTLE QUEEN IS STACKING Let's start with the biggest change. She's stacking. And she's stacking beautifully. 🌸🌸🌸 This is one of those moments where I have to admit that the girl I was calling "slow" is starting to make me eat my words. 😂 She's still slower than her sister. Absolutely. She's still smaller. Absolutely. But she's moving. And more importantly... she's building. The flowers are becoming more substantial. The structures are becoming denser. The individual flower sites are starting to look increasingly developed. And the frost? Well... the frost is becoming ridiculous. ❄️❄️❄️ This girl is starting to look like somebody accidentally turned the trichome machine up too high. 😂💜 And I'm absolutely loving it. ──────────────────────── 💜 SMALL DOESN'T MEAN SMALL FLOWERS This is probably the biggest misconception I could have if I only described this girl by her size. Yes. She's not a giant. She's not standing there trying to compete with her sister's enormous architecture. She's more compact. More controlled. More contained. But look at the flowers. 😂 That's where the story changes. She's not small in the way that matters. She's small in overall plant size... but her flowers are becoming increasingly substantial. Dense. Structured. Frosty. Beautiful. So when I say: "She's not big..." I immediately have to follow it with: "...but she's big." 😂💜👑 Because she absolutely is. She's making herself noticed in a completely different way. Her sister dominates through size. Pheno B is starting to dominate through density and frost. And honestly? I love that contrast. ──────────────────────── ❄️ THE FROSTY QUEEN HAS ENTERED ANOTHER LEVEL This girl has always had frost. That isn't new. But this week? It's becoming difficult to ignore. ❄️💜❄️ The flowers are absolutely coated. And when you get closer with the camera, the details become ridiculous. The sugar leaves are carrying frost. The flowers are carrying frost. The little structures around the developing buds are catching the light. And suddenly... you understand why this girl earned the name: The Little Frosty Queen. 👑❄️ But there's something else I really noticed. Some of those leaves are beginning to curl around the flowers. And when you look closely at them... they're absolutely covered. It's almost like the plant is wrapping the flowers in a layer of frosty decoration. 😂❄️🌿 She's not just getting frosty. She's becoming a frost-covered little monster. And I absolutely love it. ──────────────────────── 🌸 DENSE BUDS – THAT'S WHAT I'M SEEING NOW Another thing that immediately catches my attention is the density. The flowers aren't just developing outward. They're starting to look increasingly compact. Dense. Packed. Substantial. And that's really interesting because earlier in the diary, so much of her story was about waiting. Waiting for her to move. Waiting for her to catch up. Waiting for her to show us more. Well... I think she's finally decided: "Okay, okay, I'm ready." 😂💜 And now she's showing us. The structure is there. The flowers are developing. The stacking is happening. And the density is becoming much more obvious. That's the progression I wanted to see. Not necessarily a huge increase in plant size... but a clear increase in what she's building. And that's exactly what we're getting. ──────────────────────── 👭 THE TWO SISTERS ARE STILL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT This comparison is getting more interesting every week. Purple Haze Pheno A: 💜 Big 💜 Tall 💜 Massive flower structures 💜 Extremely noticeable 💜 Fast-moving Purple Haze Pheno B: 💜 More compact 💜 Smaller overall 💜 Dense flowers 💜 Extremely frosty 💜 Slower, but catching up in her own way Same genetic family. Same room. Same general environment. Same lighting. Same irrigation. Same nutritional foundation. And yet... look at them. 😂💜 They're telling two completely different stories. And this is exactly why I love having both phenotypes in the same room. If I only had Pheno B, I might simply say: "That's Purple Haze." But because I have Pheno A beside her... I can see just how differently two phenotypes can express themselves. One became the Big Mama. The other became the Little Frosty Queen. And honestly? Both are fucking beautiful. ──────────────────────── 🌿 SHE'S STILL THE SLOWER GIRL – BUT NOW SHE'S MOVING I'm not going to rewrite history. 😂 She's still one of the slower girls in the room. She's still behind her sister. And she's definitely taken her sweet time getting here. But... she's moving. That's the important part. She's not stalled. She's not sitting there waiting for something magical to happen. She's actively developing. She's stacking. She's building. She's getting denser. She's getting frostier. And she's becoming more impressive every time I look at her. That's progress. And I don't need her to suddenly become the fastest plant in the room. I just need her to keep being herself. And right now? She's doing a damn good job of that. 💜❄️🌸 ──────────────────────── 📸 YES – WE HAVE PHOTOS! And yes... WE HAVE PHOTOS. 😂📸💜 After the photographic crimes of previous weeks, I am extremely happy to report that the Little Frosty Queen has officially reclaimed her portrait privileges. No missing folders. No mysterious camera-roll disappearance. No "Where's Purple Haze B?" She's here. She's photographed. She's documented. And honestly... I'm glad. Because this week, there is actually a lot to see. The close-ups show the frost. The wider photographs show her structure. The flower shots show the stacking. And together they tell a much better story than a general room photograph ever could. This girl deserved her own gallery. And now she has one. 👑📸❄️ ──────────────────────── 💎 THE CAMERA IS STARTING TO HAVE A PROBLEM I think the camera might actually be struggling with this girl. 😂📸 Because every time I get closer... there's more frost. You start with: "Nice flower." Then: "Oh, that's frosty." Then: "Okay... that's VERY frosty." Then: "Why are the leaves covered in this much frost?" 😂❄️💜 And that's exactly what I love about macro photography. The naked eye gives you the overall impression. The camera gives you the details. And this girl has details. Lots of them. ──────────────────────── 💡 SAME PHOTONS – DIFFERENT RESULT The environment hasn't been specially changed for her. She's still part of the same upgraded 8×8 lighting environment. The two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures remain in place. We're controlling their output rather than simply running everything at maximum. Approximately: 🔌 ~59% power from the plug With approximately: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. And once again... the photons are the same. The response isn't. That's the fascinating part. Pheno A takes those conditions and builds a huge plant with enormous flowers. We're finding the operating point that makes sense for the room. And around 59% power from the plug, we're getting approximately 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. The individual flowering sites are becoming more connected visually. The structures are gaining weight. The flowers are becoming more substantial. And suddenly that little plant we were waiting on... doesn't look quite so little anymore. She's still compact. But compact doesn't mean insignificant. Quite the opposite. She's using the structure she has very efficiently. And that's something I really like about her. She doesn't need to occupy half the tent. She just needs to make the space she has count. And she's doing exactly that. ──────────────────────── 👑 THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN IS GETTING HER CROWN BACK After all the delays... all the slow weeks... all the: "Come on, girl..." 😂 She's finally giving us the answer we were waiting for. She's stacking. She's developing. She's frosting. She's becoming dense. And she's becoming increasingly beautiful. So yes... the crown stays. 👑❄️💜 Little Frosty Queen. You earned it. ──────────────────────── 🔮 WHAT COMES NEXT? Honestly? I'm curious. Very curious. Because this is the point where I stop wondering: "Will she develop?" and start wondering: "How far is she going to take this?" 😂💜 How much more density will those flowers develop? How much more frost will she produce? How will the orange and mature colours evolve? How much more will the flower structures fill out? And what will this compact little monster look like when she finally reaches the end of her journey? I have no idea. And I love that. Because we're not writing the ending in advance. Amazing citric terps. Very very lemony and gassy, can't even believe it didn't expect that type of smell at all I thought she was gonna be very sweet, the aroma is so powerful but she smells very citric and gassy, can't wait to try her smoke ❄️🤤 let's see how she performs at the end!
