Plants got a surge of growth over the week, lookin forward to a decent canopy come flower. Switched to 12, keeping MH bulb going until i see flowers. Slowly beginning to wean off the calcium nitrate as well. Also have begun to do some light defoliation and pruning where necessary - best to nip it in the bud as they say - before the energy investment grows. Gotta be careful with your girls though, don’t get clipper happy. Cheers Late week update: Actually probably keeping calcium nitrate steady since it'll need more for the stretch, after which I'll quickly decrease and change my nute schedule.

Well, it's flowering... A bit slow but what can I do? Defoliated for the first time, I'm hoping it's gonna be ok!

This was a funny journey. It reacts better to scrog than LST, lst one only yielded (wet) 159g while the one with scrog yielded (wet) 346g. Unfortunately I got mold on the top bud of the lst plant, high humidity is very dangerous to this strain (atleast for me was). After drying for 1week and curing it for other week I decided to try it out and I got pretty happy with it. First grow and the buds taste very fruity and sweet, from 0-10 the ash is probably an 8. I am excited to try the other one out since it received much more light (it has 17colas). Loved to grow this ones, highly recommend this strain for beginners. I'll update the outcome whenever they dry. Thank you everyone for supporting me on my first grow. 87g dried, not bad for 105W (tgl star 100), taste is pretty good and It gives an uplifting buzz.

The first week of the 12/12 cycle went without any problems. The scrog is going fine and I've done some pruning & defoliation underneath the screen making it easier to water them. On day 40 (5th day of this week) I spotted the first pre-flowers. I gave them tapwater with Plagron nutrients once this week. The rest of the week I gave them ph adjusted tapwater every other day (Ec 0.46 - ph 6.1 - 1 liter each/48h) The cobs stayed at the same height and power as last week (43 cm/17 inch and 188 watt – DLI 28 – PPFD 648) On the last day it got a bit brighter again with the cobs at 40 cm/15.75 inch and 208 watt. Buenos días, les presento a Capri. Un experimento que quise probar, es una regular que hice vegetar un mes y la pasé a florar el 15 de marzo, queriendo imitar el proceso de una automática para comparar cantidad y calidad a la hora de la cosecha final. Cometí el error de ponerla en una maceta de 7.5L" definitiva". A los 45 días de floración me pedía trasplante a gritos. Podía notar que los cogollos se estancaron y las hojas se volvían amarillas. La pasé a una maceta Air Por de 10L a los 50 días de floración. Hoy por hoy (30/5) se encuentra más asentada, recuperando los tonos verdes y con 63 días de floración. Al parecer tiene predominancia sativa por lo que calculo que tendrá como mínimo 9/10 semanas de flora. Los productos que aparecen, son el historial de fertilizante que le puse desde que nació. A la planta no le hice ningún tipo de poda, creció tal cual sola, solo le saque dos ramas inferiores para hacerlas esquejes. Buen domingo y buenos humos!

Acapulco Gold has just reached the maximum height available! 😅 The flowers are coming in beautifully, despite the less than stellar growing conditions. I must say I am very pleased with the seeds from WeedSeedsExpress. First time using their genetics, and they have been impressive, to say the least! Acapulco Gold Auto has really started focusing on the buds, and they are really interesting looking flowers 🤞 9.9.25: I have done a large defoliation. Removing the fan leaves on the lower branches. As well as some on the inside of the plant. Also, I removed some of the leaves that weren't looking so good. The leaves are yellowing out on the older leaves, whilst the new leaves are becoming much darker. I decided to add in a bud building PK boosters this week. I used Bud Explosion and seaweed extract as well as Sea K. I'm really trying to make the most out of this plant and will try to get a personal record in the yeild. I lollipoped last week, and this defoliation will be the last thing that I will do to the plant. I will be top dress next week for the Ecothrive Bloom, Life Cycle, Diatomaceous Earth, and Cinnamon. This will be one of the last, depending on how quickly we progress here. I am having a problem judging the water requirements as the plant itself now weighs a LOT! This isn't good for me because I am not the best of judging without lifting the pots. Obviously, the pot is much heavier now because the plant has gotten so big. I'm trying 2 x 6.5L feedings this week, I should go up to 3 or more next week, probably. I am constantly moving the plant daily to evenly distribute the light to the plant. That's what happened this week. I'm very pleased with this plant in general, and this weeks progress has been very good. I'm more than happy! Que hay familia, vamos con la primera semana de floración de estas Runtz de Zamnesia. Utilizo la tierra de plagron lightmix que siempre utilizo, controlando siempre el Ph, que ahora mismo lo dejamos en 6. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos. Seleccioné de las 5 plantas, 3 , que creo que son los mejores ejemplares que por el momento están creciendo bien y tener tienen un buen color, se ven bien sanas, todo normal hasta ahora, ya marcaron preflores. Esta semana las chicas han mejorado un poco, se detuvo el amarillamiento, descubri que Cal-Max de Grotek interfiere en la composicion de la linea hesi por lo que las chicas sufren un bloqueo de nutrientes, dejé de utilizarlo y las chicas han continuado con su desarrollo relativamente normal. ya estan en su 5ta semana de floracion, Tutankhamon ha producido una cantidad gigantesca de resina, Lennon esta engordando a toda velocidad y aun le quedan 6 semanas aprox. Anubis a pesar de su color intenso amarillo palido esta engordando bastante bien y su produccion de resina es inimaginable y ya solo que quedan 2 semanas y media aprox. espero que a partir de ahora ya no surjan mas problemas y que las chicas terminen su floracion de la mejor manera. esto es todo por esta semana chicos, espero que se encuentren muy bien ! Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.
