Hola los amigos! Hello my friends! I'm back with week 11's (day 71) diary. Today I decided to make a longer video, which I left out a few things because I didn't want to make the video another 2-3 minutes longer :) So at the and of my weekly comment I'll mention what I didn't in the video, Thanks for checking out one my diaries, if you notice anything I'm missing let me know, I'd really appreciate it 😅
~ Update day 71 ~
First on the list is the overall growth of these girls, I’m astounded. I’m very happy that I made the decision to use Grower Choice Seeds, even though there is a issue with my CBD Blueberry I tried some of the trimmed buds and I’ll tell you what, those buds were way immature.. but the effect was incredibly pleasant and perfect for ending a hard days work, wow I can’t wait to harvest the mother! I’ll definitely grow more CBD Blueberry on my next rotation. Still I’m wondering what could have happened to cause the CBD to bud and not the others… Oh well, It’s a good learning experience :) Now I’ll get into the individual progress notes for this week, enjoy <3

Notes: I’m very happy to see this girl finally get a bit bushier. Having a very similar structure to her sister her genes are nowhere near as aggressive. Still I’m curious what pheno this girl is… Only time will tell.

Notes: This Twister Sister is insane! I have to mention her clones here. I kid you not this girl is aggressive and my best grower. All her clones are massive compared to the others. I’m keeping this girl, I might even breed her with a Thai Landrace just to see what happens ;)
[CBD Blueberry]

Notes: This girl is confused, poor thing :( I got her to reveg, not sure how but it happened. If you look closely at the leaves you can see the weird deformed that are a classic sign of reveging. The growth rate has increased a lot! She was my smallest plant and now she’s mt tallest, I need to do some HST or topping, don’t want her towering over the others. Now I have a question, do any of you guys know if it’s bad to reveg feminized plants? I heard a rumor that it’s not recommended but I’d like to ask my fellow growers here on GD.

Notes: Now this is a proper bush, a beautiful round full structure, these genetic look amazing, can’t wait to see what she matures into. I’m glad I’m stopping at 16 tops because this girl would take up the entire 4 x 4 tent if I let her, big girl :)

Notes: She’s now one of my smallest girls, though her structure and canopy is solid. She’s loving the net, let’s her breathe a bit more. I have high hope for this one, much love for Arjan and any of his creations.

Notes: My all time favorite! Tanya has bluish green leaves that have a platinum sheen to em. I really like the colors, I wonder how white this girl will get, If you guys have any suggestions to make WW or any strain extra frosty let me know <3
~ Final Thoughts ~
I made it to flowering! Woop! Now it’s time for the hard part, the budz :D This has been a stressful, yet oddly relaxing (more like cathartic) and rewarding experience, I’m slowly
introducing nutes every other watering. The next nute mix will be when I start week 12 (flowering) I will and some flower fuel to help boost the growth of phat buds. I’ll also add
molasses and honey for carbohydrates and sweetness. The expected harvest date is around December 17th so stick around ya! See you guys next week! :)

👉The plant really faded fast during this week. I harvested the plant from the top down and staggered the process out over the week, fininshing today, 7 days later. The Queen Cola branch was giant. The calyxes had purple tinge too them. The queen took 7 days to loose 75% of its moisture and is now in its jar and stable at 62%Rh. I pruned and weighed each branch after trimming. I then hung each branch on a rack. After two days I put into a paper bag. The aroma at harvest was diesely. Very strong and you can smell it outside. The buds are dense and frosty. The trim wasn't to punishing because the plant didn't have many sugar leaves and those that were were covered in frost. I hung all the main branches in individually, and the secondary branches i put on a hanging net. There was minimal popcorn or larf and was not included in any of the weight. The plant was well beyond average size.
For the pictures I used my cell phone. THe backdrop is a darker green. But like most cell hones the colors can be slightly skewed in the process. I did some adjustments on my computer to adjust for the color drift.

12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds.
Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why.

Day 97 and the grow box is battling to stay at 16 degrees as the garage drops to -2 degrees. I made my first ever compost tea for a batch of homemade super soil that I’m feeding. I gave the girls a drink of that yesterday, although stopped with the biobizz nutrients a few days ago. Will stick to water and slowly flushing from now on. It’s finally started to smell a wee bit like weed but it’s not noticeable in amongst all my fermenting jars of the various homemade KNF nutrients. I’d highly recommend getting into making your own KNF nutrients….lots of good fun. I started making Fish Amino Acid tonight so the whole garage is looking a bit like I rented storage space to Jeffrey Dahmer.
In the video, the first plant on screen is the Skywalker and the smaller one is the. Orange bud. Both have not grown much in last few days (16 degrees or end of life territory?). I’m looking out for the clear to milky but I can’t really tell with my shitty magnifying glass. I’m fed up smoking ‘session weed’ and got Skywalker on the go in the hope I can tap into that 26% thc they boast about. So don’t want to chop it too early. The second I see one amber trichome, auld Luke is getting the chop. May then leave the orange bud for a bit longer to see if less competition causes it to bulk a bit.

Debo aclarar que esta vez he cambiado de modalidad de cultivo y he escogido la del living soil. Hasta el momento no puedo estar más feliz viendo lo sanas y hermosas que van desarrollándose estas plantas.

Sep 6: Lemon Cream Kush is shaping up nicely. Buds are starting to thicken up and get frosty. Might be a bit of a P deficiency going on but I dont want to over fertilize this late in the grow.
Sep 7: one last round of malted barley and Power Bloom. Leaves seemed a bit too blue indicating P deficiency so another round of bloom nutes were applied..

Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen,and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period.
She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again.
I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol
Good candidate for a grafting project
Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏

She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks.
Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.

I always defoliated a little, but never in this way...
This time I decided to practice it on all the plants I have in the garden (10 visible in the diaries + 8 regular all female) out of pure curiosity to see how each of them will react

Basically these nutrients contain primarily NPK in organic / vegan form + kelp extracts, humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, aloe vera, potassium silicate, beneficial bacteria and fungi
Like i usually do, a little bit of everything at any watering 💧

The Final Four are still stretching as you can see in the Time lapse movie. They are really eating; I just feed them on the 7th and again on the 10 they are responding well to the increased PPM and reduced PH 1500 and 5.9 with no real signs of Nutrient burn. I added the Pro A and B this time as they will need some N in the flowering stage the P & K are getting the boost from the liquid Cool Bloom 0-10-10 I and am still feeding CAL and MAG in every watering. I think tonight when the lights come on, I will rearrange the Scrog with the four remaining plants, as three of them are tucked in the corner from the time I had my California 6 in the tent. For me that is plenty of personal smoke plus Larf and trim hash. happy growing Gromies.💪

Week 10 to the day and it’s time for the chop. Won’t be a whole lot see in that regard. It’s all being hand trimmed, packaged and frozen fresh - right from the plant.
Then processing via bubble bags, pressing for live rosin, decarbed and finally - carted.
I’m guessing about a years worth of vapable concentrate.

Gained some height since last week, bud sites everywhere. Defoliatated a few leaves to allow light in as its really bushy. Upped the nutrients and shes drinking alot more now. Hopefully see some trichromes popping up soon and they fatten up

📑 This was her first true week of flower. Almost all the pre-flower stretch is over now and it is time to begin the budding. Along with the height of the plant, the DLI has increased to 45 now. With this strain being sativa dominate I expect her to stay in the flowering cycle for about 9 weeks. Time will tell.

📆 Semana 9:
Hemos llegado al final, lo hemos conseguido, los cogollos estan bien gordos, listos para el lavabo de raíces y darle unos dias de madurez antes del corte final.
Ha quedado una planta con muchas ramas compactas, distancia internodal corta y toda la rama esta llena de cogollo y resina. Tremendo el trabajo por parte de mis patrocinadores, como siempre XpertNutrients, Anesia Seeds y Marshydro no fallan.
Con la nueva iluminación + los adlite se ha incrementado el tamaño de las flores, la cantidad de resina y el olor es mucho mas fuerte que otros grows.
