Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Starting this week with a bud a & bud b feeding. I stopped feeding nutes as often and only run the whole lineup on Sunday. Through the week I use mostly water with the finish, CalMag and swapping out the fire/prime. I had garden hooks in for LST that I pulled up. Brought back the scrog net for support. Learning day by day!

Day 9 above soil: The Dreamgirls have been slow and steady this week but at least steady.lol They are the smallest of the strains in general size and there is a noticeable difference. They are not concerning me at all just a lot smaller at this stage. All the factors are identical within the crop so I am sure they will take off soon enough. They had a small feed today too so hopefully will start fattening out

Amazing!. The big plant smells so good Drying day 6: they are still moist! A very good drying session is going on over here. The longer the better! Trimmed today after 10 days. Ended up with 80grams pure buds! Super nice chunky buds smells amazing and 8grams of sift from the leaves. I’ll filter the leaves again with my bubble bags

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

Woche 3 der Blüte kommt morgen zum Ende… 🌷🌺 Soweit haben sie sich extrem gut gestreckt und Bio Masse aufgebaut. Stamm kommt photoperiodischen am Ende der Blüte nah, deutet darauf hin, dass es der Pflanze super geht, sieegr als genügend Nährstoffe zur Verfügung hat und anstatt Stämme bauen zwei der Ladys einfach Rohrsysteme auf 😆 die angezeigten Äste sind teilweise so dick wie bei anderen die ganze Pflanze 🌱 Terps sind super Candy, eine Streckt sich komischerweise immer noch, war ein Spätzündung, dafür meiste Bio Masse von allen. 3 blühen bereits gut, eine davon lässt tatsächlich mit der Trichomproduktion auf sich warten, wieso keine Ahnung aber interessant zu beobachten 😄

So a whole lot has happened in the last 2 weeks. My main goal has been setting up for season 3 outdoors in my new garden where I will test my theory. I went a little hard on the plant ferment I made and have been feeding because the Whiskey Zulu and the Girl Crush because have a few spots on some leaves so I guess they might've briefly locked up a little. No problem with the Ogreberry though. The Whiskey Zulu smells like purp—like GDP, the Ogreberry smells like fruitloops with some funk and a little like Northern Lights. The Girl crush smells like a sweet diesel og—and I've just switched her over to 12/12 not long ago. For season 3: I've ordered seeds from DDA who owns Boneyard Seeds Norcal on Dagga.garden please check him out before it's 2 late. Please checkout his fantastic selection of cultivars. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. The girls have officially started to blossom, even the bubblegum seems to be slowly recovering, I'm happy with the result for now.

Added the scrog net and defoliated a bit to help spread out the canopy. They are looking healthy and happy and ready for the flip! That deep-topping really was a great way of creating a very even and clean canopy (you'll see that in the next week's update)
