Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

Added cal-mag this week as I noticed the leaves on my GDP were turning yellow, but also seems the are a bit purple now too... I think the real issue may have been PH though as I tested the run off and it was closer to 5.5-6 vs the water which I had been trying to keep at least 6.5 but as I'm learning I need a lot more PH up now to keep it balanced with the amount of nutes. Probably should have flushed at some point to help correct the PH but I have just watered with slightly more basic solution, ~7 reducing slightly each watering to 6.5, picked up a PH pen as I'm getting low on the test liquid. The buds are getting fat and sticky, the smell is nice as well. 3 weeks left, harvest should be on 55th day of flower, the 8th I'm estimating at least 2 ounces dry from the cheese, hoping to get at least 3 or 4 off the rest of these though. 👏 time will tell. Day 22-28 / Week 4 This week I had to give them more space and topped them to make use of the space. The I had to reduce the dry intervals and increase the spraying time to match their needs. Captain slow got his problems with the feeding schedule, but I’m not going to let the others suffer for him. Hope he managed to catch up over the next 2-3 weeks, to move them to the flowering space and flip them all at once. Maybe he gets another week, if I need the time to fill up the scrog. Overall nothing special. Just the 2 week maintenance with filter cleaning and some of the nozzles got cleaned aswell, because they clog up from time to time. All 6 together are drinking about 1,5-2 litres per day. wow look at dat!! dat plant is now in flower!!! dis was very very stress week for me!!! da plant had very very big leaves!! i asked husband what to do!!! he said woman dis is your grow!!! you do what ever you want!!! you can leave dem, tuck dem or do a defoliation dis is all up to you!!! i decided to do da defoliation option!!! i took scissors to da plant and cut off all da big leaves, bottom leaves and sprouts!!! it was very very scary!! da plant looked very very sad after dat!!! i told husband i think da plant is going to die!!!! he smiled at me and said woman da plant wont die it will recover dont you worry!!! dis is a learning experience for you on how da plants react to such stresses!!! dat made me fell so much better!!!! da week feeding has been butt chugging with one top watering!!! da butt chugging is every second day!!!!!

I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

Las flores se desarrollan perfectamente aunque la 8 ball al ser 100% indica se va a quedar bastante atrás pero las red mandarin me tienen sorprendido para bien, sobre todo la de color rojo que está preciosa. En la próxima semana mostraré los días 9, 11 y 13 de noviembre, ayer dia 9 empecé con el engorde de boom nutrien y a partir de ahora un riego con abonos con las cantidades que lleva y el siguiente riego solo la mitad de nutrientes además de ser la última semana que le hecho el bio-grow para dejar solo el bio-bloom. También quité la malla por última vez para hacer un poco de limpieza y las cambié de sitio además de levantar un poco más la maceta de la 8 ball para que quedara un poco más a la altura de las otras mañana dia 11 grabaré un video para ver como siguen y el día 13 otro aunque el riego creo que será el día 12 que son de 750ml por maceta cada tres dias aprox.

Cut the plant and let hanging upside-down for 1,5 weeks by 50-55% RH and 17-21°C. Was very easy to trim - wet as well as dry sugar leaves both goes smoothly and fun. Left dried and trimmed buds burp for another week. Made DME extracts. Tested both weed and extracts, strong pleasure :) It was handy and fun to grow on GD as always - thank you guys! 🇺🇸 Week 5 of flower. Getting close to the finish line. Buds have bulked up nicely, tons of sugar everywhere and a strong smell coming through. Had a few days where I couldn’t get temps below 28–29 °C, and I think that caused quite a bit of yellowing on the leaves. Also added some NPK (Top Dress by Lurpe) because of the purple stems. Trichomes are around 60% milky, no amber yet. Not rushing it. 🇨🇿 Pátý týden květu. Pomalu jdeme do finále. Palice pěkně nabraly na objemu, všude hromada cukru a výrazná vůně. Pár dní jsem bojoval s teplotou, nešla dostat pod 28–29 °C a podle mě to odnesla spousta listů, které zežloutly. Ty které šly nenásilně rukou jsou pryč. Přidal jsem taky NPK (Top Dress od Lurpe) kvůli fialovým stonkům. Trichomy jsou zhruba z 60 % milky, amber zatím nikde. Nikam nespěchám.

10/20 Day 86. Not really sure when to chop right now. I was hoping for a nice fade with some reds and purples but maybe it just won’t happen. Everything looks and smells great though. 10/24 Day 90. Finally getting some more leaf fade to go along with the trichs getting more cloudy. There’s still some clear trichomes in the mix so I’ll keep going a few more days, but at least I’m finally getting some signs she’s close.

She looks awesome at the beginning of week 8. Queen Papaya II fills up my hole 60x60 tent and she is growing lovely buds... Let's see how this works out 😍I just cut some leaves and gave her some nurition (2ml one a week from each of the three).
