We got to the topping just 4 days ago, and the plants took it quite well. There’s some minor drooping going on right now, but the new tops are already coming along nicely. 🌱✂️ I slightly overwatered them just now, so I’ll let the pots dry out and give them at least 4 days before the next watering. Next stop: transplant number two. 💪 Lesson learned: after topping, less is more. Give them air, time, and a bit of dryness - they bounce back faster than you think. 😉 Stats so far: 💧 Watering: Every third day 🌡️ Temp: 24–26°C 💦 Humidity: 75% RH (ideal for early growth) 📈 VPD: ~0.75 kPa 💡 Light: ~400 PPFD

Really love this strain, grown it a few times, happy with how she turned out, greasy an sticky and the smoke is heavy an euphoric, she smells like fruit punch with hints of nut meg, a smell I can't explain very pungent...

Week nine of veg and the girls are stretching… all except the Purple Punch on the far left. She decided to go into flower last Thursday! She too is healthy and displaying some purple. Thanks for looking in at my second grow.

DAY 56 SINCE FLIP:These girls are really trying to impress now they are so close the finish line. Theyballnhave their own unique look and smell and will be a very welcome addition to the stash box. Wedding cake is an top buddingnbeasty of a lady with some sweet , biscuit smelling and looking trichromes covering her swelling buds. She has burst open with a so many new pistils in the last 2 days that have given her main canopy a great appeal now. Each main has doubled in girth due to this and I think at least another full week for her is in order. Black Ghost O.g has pushed and pushed to get herself noticed with success. Her few buds at the surface are sweet ish smelling with a hint of a spice too. The lower parts are way too light starved to have been developed well but this was due to their poor start. Still pushing trichromes onto.the covered surfaces. She sont yield high but her smoke will.make up for it I feel. Gorilla Glue #4 is my secret favourite. She is so dusty withbtrichs and looks dangerous up close. She is clumped together from her needing so much support and I keep finding random arms on the lower portion of the plant that need bringing up again. She feels so tacky to touch and has a potent sweetness mixed with a spicey tang. I think she will be coming out any day now. Be well folks

So everything is going well now. She is all healthy and stron. Got her in first week of flower. Only gave her plain water this week. I added the Fluoresent to add some 6500k spectrum to my hps. It really helps and looks good. I got rid of the mini scrog. And decided to go allong with the LST because I wont be able to fill a SCROG.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Decided to Veg for one more week!! I am watering the Mimosa and Jaeger with the Humboldt Secrets A+B 9ml each and Golden Tree with 2ml. I also added CalMag 1/2 tsp. I also put Great White Mico in the pp mixture and Big Foot in the mixture for MM and Jae. I used only Raw Grow about 2 tsp with a 1/4 tsp of cal mag in the instructions let's see how it goes. Dec 30. The plants needed defoliating pp the most I stretched the tops down a little further and trimmed mimosa a bit as well. Got the outer growth to the pot edges to encourage proper light penetration. I can tell I am going to have tons of bud sites!!
