Day 21: So we are currently in day 21, I finished all my work for my growroom. They where pushed into flowering 5 days ago. They always need to settle first before even turning into that stage. So my gues that in the end of the next week we will start to see the first indicators. I still gave them veg nutrients this week since they are still in growing stage. I did notice that many plants have weak stems and where sloppy underneeth. Didn't liked that, so in order to have thicker stems and branches I decided to top all the plants ( not showing in these picutues, i did that after making the pictures) Topping your plants will create stronger thick stems and branches! Also removed the first 1-2 internodes on each branch. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant. I can't remember the ''science'' behind it but I have been told that many years ago by fellow OG Dutch growers and Family members. Anyway It is importend to have uneven branches. So 5, 7 or even 9 but never 6 or 8. Normaly I would have loved a huge main cola and it is known by many amnesia growers to not top the plants because they make beautifull thick main colas. On the other hand, when having this much plants on each m2, it will create weak stems and branches. I rather have strong plants with thick stems and branches to transport all nutrients properly and not breaking when having buds on them or having to mayor support them. The leafs, stems and branches look fine to me. No stress or deficiencies. 1/3 of them like to drink thought which is a good thing but it really enjoying. Now I have to weigh by lifting the pots which one needs more or less feedings lol. Instead of giving them all like 5 seconds of water. Might show you guys my feeding ''barrel'' next week. It is a 250L one. Untill next week.

Die Woche ist ansich gut verlaufen, 2 Pflanzen haben irgendetwas aber ich weiß nicht woran es liegt. Morgen/heute werden alle plants ausgedünnt, und ich werde die beiden Kastenventilatoren rechts und links an den Zelt Wänden gegen oszilierende monky Fans an den Mittel Stangen anbringen, ich spare Platz in der Mittel Reihe den ich brauche. Ich bin sehr zufrieden bisher mal sehen ob ich raus finde was die 2 Pflanzen haben...ansonsten wünsche ich euch eine schöne woche und stay high 😬😁👌 Ach so an Dünge tagen gieße ich immer easy 2L pro Topf. Und dazu von Madame Grow alle 4 bis 7 Tage Flower Karma rauf sprühen das Zeug ist top!👌 The week itself went well, 2 plants have something but I don't know what the reason is. Tomorrow all the plants will be thinned out, and I will put the two box fans on the right and left of the tent walls against oscillating monky fans on the middle poles, I save space in the middle row that I need. I'm very satisfied so far, let's see if I can find out what the 2 plants have... otherwise I wish you a nice week and stay high 😬😁👌 Oh, on fertilizer days I always pour easy 2L per pot. And spray Madame Grow with Flower Karma every 4 to 7 days, the stuff is great!👌😬

Plantitas creciendo sin problemas...

Plant ran low on nitrogen during stretch. This was cause by the potassium and phosphorus out competing the nitrogen. I solved the issue with a 3 day dry back.

So much water usage this week! They started the week consuming about 5 gallons per day between the 8 plants. By day 4, they were consuming 10 gallons per day. That consumption caused my exhaust fan to run constantly to keep the humidity down. It nearly drained my tank of CO2, so I shut it off and set it to maintain 77 degrees and 55% RH. I came to the conclusion that I can only use CO2 in veg since it would seem to require some intense dehumidifying in room after they reach flowering size, and I only have enough room to fit a 30 pint which runs constantly and does not keep the humidity down on its own. The big left side plants are growing like crazy, and I am running out of squares in the screen. I had to start some additional training on branches to even out the canopy. Other than that, no problems. So far, so good! Some people have commented on crowding and airflow. Thanks for the input, everyone! Just to add some details about my airflow, I have 4 of the 6" oscillating clip fans. Two above and two below the canopy. There is a dehumidifier running constantly in the middle of the tent that is constantly blasting out warm air. There is an 800 cfm fan/filter recirculating air inside the tent. The 350 cfm Cloudline Infinity S6 exhaust fan runs frequently with CO2 on and constantly with it off with two 6" passive intakes at the bottom of the tent. Additionally, I remove fan leaves when they are crowding. I will do a major defoliation in week 3 and probably raise the screen a few more inches next week since I have a lot of stretching left to do.

Plants are thriving, starting to see more and more buds. Trying to kep the humidity in the 60s seems to be the sweet spot. Have really takes down my base as have increased bloom nutrients.

The plants have reached a stage where they have enough foliage and growth on them to begin training and defoliation. I cut most of the side growth and major fan leaves off. Using safety pins and twine, I started their LST.

Here we are now, 7 days from seed and looking good. Just been giving water and I did a top dress of earthworm casting and organic fertilizer with mulch over the top. Weather is good for the next while, hoping to get some good growth this next couple weeks

What is good fellow gardeners, So our jungle tour has come to an end and what can I say, it was a joyful ride in all ways. It had it’s ups and downs like many of my other grows but I still think growing is the best hobby. This last week we let the last two girls ripen completely and at the end of the week we harvested them. This time the drying took place in several stages, which turned out to be a good idea. First we hung them up for 3 days with leaves then trimmed and let them dry again for another 8 days. The scents and aromas were preserved in their perfect state which was the basis for the later smooth smoke experience. After an overall problem-free vegetative stage, there were some minor hiccups during the flowering period. We lost quite a few large flowers due to bud rot. The oscillation function of the fan broke precisely during the last critical period of flowering, which could obviously have contributed to this. There was a slight light leak at the zipper which may have caused stress to the first two plants. That’s why they had to be taken down 2 weeks earlier than the other two. Trichomes were fully milky with a few clear so wasn’t a big issue tho. This two showed similar characteristics in terms of taste and bud structure. A sweet and spicy taste with a hint of chocolate. Buds are dense and rock hard. One pheno turned out deep purple and had a bit slightly burnt sweet fruit cake taste. Buds are solid and rock hard. The last pheno is more spongy yet hard but not really compact. This one has the most sweet and fruity taste with a well balanced high. I would recommend this strain for those who loves fruity varieties. However sometimes can be hard to manage during flowering. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this jungle trip. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy.
