After a feed last Thursday, plain ph'd water on Friday, these ladies have been left alone, with impressive results, little vertical stretch and lots of side ways. They had a feed today, Monday, so I'll water tomorrow and leave until Friday, seems to work. hopefully I be flushing the little cheese auto next week and free up some space for the fat ladies to expand

Not much to do now but watch the pH and PPM and wait. It looks beautiful. The growing structure of the buds is really interesting, it has like four calyxes with pistils coming out of the top of a lot of buds in a really distinctive way. It's super, super frosty too. The GG#4 genetics are already showing. Interesting smell, hard to describe. Still relatively mild, at least in the grow tent with the filter running. There's some burning on the leaves, yellowing at the edges. I think I got a bit complacent about checking on it this week since it's been so easy. I also think I should have pruned some of the smaller branches, even just for my own enjoyment of the aesthetics on top of the benefits for airflow and nutrient use. I'll probably do that this week. Then 2 weeks to harvest! I'm impressed with this strain so far, as well as very impressed with the DWC method VS soil or coco but still have a soft spot for organic soil. If I can find a veganic hydroponic nutrient mix I'll be stoked.

February 28, 2019 Update: Chugging right along in the veg tent. I sprayed the plants with Neem Oil last week and the leaves look shiny from that, but no new signs of bug damage since then. I did feed them a little Recharge also and they really responded great to that. After taking the pics I did some HST bending at the base of the stem on all plants. I didn't bend them over, just pinched real hard and wiggled the plant back and forth until I could feel the bend between my fingers. We'll see how that goes. The DinaMed's are still taller than the MediKush's but the MediKush's still have a nice tight node structure. If all goes to plan I'll have my flowering plants chopped and hanging in 2 weeks and will then be able to move these girls into the flowering room. Bonus pic at the end of the view from my bedroom window. I'd love to see my buds get that frosty!

As you can see I chopped both Gorilla Cookies. The humidity in the tent got a bit too high and I didn’t want to provoke mold. So I decided to chop and trichomes were looking good. I absolutely love their smell. Especially freshly after chop it smells like chocolate cookies. I will update with final results once both are dried and cured. The Mango smile does now have enough space and light to ripen and produce some nice buds. The smell was first really like mango but over the last week it changed more into a bit more cheesy direction. I’ve got some problems with lightburn / bleaching on the upper growth as she got too tall and I cant move the lights further up. But so far nothing too bad I guess. Despite that she is looking great and I can‘t wait to see how she will look like in a few weeks.

Fast week and a lot in my life so little update for this week , sorry guys, they are growing as champions and by the end of week 5 they started preflowring, this append around day 34,35 from seed. 58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

I didn't bother updating the diary last week as there was nothing going on really, just finished the 1st week of flushing and another week till harvest. Only big change going on is the hps and little viparspectra LEDs have been taken out and replaced by 2x invisible sun ISH265 quantum boards.

She's 53 days from seed exactly,looks super green and healthy,seems to be enjoying the sun,I topped her twice on 2 of the 4th main colas,let's see how she does.love this strain man,definitely will keep on growing this beautiful black cherry punch.

Didn't have a lot of time this week so she missed her waterings for a couple of days, also didn't empty the dehydrator so humidity was up a few days. Installed a second cheap blurple led on the side, but doubt this will really help much. Having some trouble keeping temps up as winter is coming and I dont have a heater in my garage

I liked it. 10/8: I smoked some more. I'm really glad I have almost 15 ounces of it.😋 a) 69g b) 79g c) 93g d) 84g e) 88g Final thoughts: Easy to grow and train. The two I did some training on produced the most. The buds are dense while growing and remain so after they've dried and started to cure. They redden up beautifully in the jar and have a very mild but sweet minty/flowery smell that comes through in the flavor as well. It's a very strong Sativa buzz which is surprising considering they were the fastest FFT's to finish...among mostly Indica varieties. Potency: 8/10 Yield: 8/10 Flavor: 8/10 Aroma: 8/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Trouble-free: 10/10 NOTE: I couldn't find the photos I took of the first one I harvested, but it was the smallest (and stinkiest) of the bunch.
