Week 7 of flower Feb 19, 2024.

On day 38, we topped the top shoots of the chimera again because she is getting way to gig already. Then, after 40 days in the vegetation phase, we sent them into flowering. From now on 12/12h Day-nightcycle We cut some Clones at day 47 because we had to wait until our clonex arrives.

Starting week 6 Tent is being slowly full A little bit too hot for the next days as the weather outside will climb to 36-38°C, I thnk I will bring them some CO2. I will check with the growshop. Any idea is welcome. The stretch is really impressive, 1 of them get 20cm in 7 days Waiting for the buds 😁 Day 39 I have now added CO2 with an organic boost, it is linked it to the fan. Should be a little bit better with that temperature

What's up guys? This week was very nice. They gained a lot of trichomes and the smell became extremely strong. Smells like a very sweet perfume. I love it and I can't wait to have a taste. I fed them the last time today. From now on they will get pure water only. See you next week!

Thank you all for this amazing support on this bananas journey💚💚💚 Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet. So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Day 91-92 CPK. WHITE DEATH decended on her neighbors. Mold showed up on one bud in 2 of the other plants in this tent, not on this plant but in plants on either side. Got some great advice from a grower that goes by m0use and thanks so much I followed your advice and am seeing no mold or damage. I removed the top that had the mold growing 2 inches below the affected spot there was nothing under or behind it or anywhere else that I could see so I must have caught it very early. Next I mixed 2 cups of spring water with 2 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide, then misted the whole grow until I had used it all. This was done at lights out I placed a fan in front of the tent opened the tent on all sides and let the fan dry her off before the lights came back on. When the lights came back on there were a few places at the back of the tent where I used a paper towel to dab some wet leaves then blow dried with no heat to be sure that section was dry, the blow dry was only a minute or 2. It worked plants looking great checked trichomes and they are all there and clear so mission accomplished. Again thanks to m0use for the help and I plan to start bud washing between chop and dry on all grows, I tried to reply to all answers on my grow questions but once again the techno caveman doesn't know how to do something simple. Copy and pasteing this on the other diaries... Yep that I can do. Ok happiness flush continues and starting to see some cannibal fade. Day 96 CPK. Finally got some color on this hulk. Day 97 CPK. Watered ph 5.8 she is so close that I did not check runoff. Got the big Banana out of the tent so I moved her forward and gave her a good inspection. Found one of the small outer tops that had been facing the back wall had a small half inch area of thin white mold which got cut out. I've added a mini dehumidifier in the tent and a large one to the room. I've never had a mold issue until I switched out that big16" oscillating fan for the 6" monkey fan. Strongly suspect there is no substitute for the amount of air that big fan moved. Especially since I added 1 more oscillating fan under the canopy to the 1 that was already there plus the dehumidifiers plus the 2 clip fans that have been there from the start of the grow. My rh is around 50%, CO2 around 1200 ppm. My other theory is over the winter there was COVID in the house and we kept the humidity in the house high to keep from coughing our heads off which has led to a mold bomb effect.

The plants look much better. I put too much nuts On first week so I had to rest all of them -70%. In my case the Calcium was blocking the entry of potassium so I decided just put 0.5ml/2l. The smaller plants are in week 2 but I noticed 2 of them growing really fast, they’re almost like the others 4 plants who are one week older! Almost all f them will be transplanted at the end of this week

Fast Buds C.C. growing strong!! She's a beauty so far. I expect the big pre-flower stretch to kick in any minute now. I love how she's doing so far, definitely another success for Fast Buds! 👍

Week 8 Day 49 to harvest P1 harvest was flower day 53 - total wet weight was 24oz and the stem base accounted for 8.0oz, so about 16oz set to dry. I fed P1 half nute flush water again this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. And then cut her down 4 days later. P2 harvest was flower day 49 - total wet weight was 16.3oz and the stem base accounted for 6.4oz so about 9.9oz set to dry. (reminder that P2 was the test plant where I broke the main stem and later another later topping from an off branch already topped.) The test resulted in smaller colas in the later topping and the first topping break recovered surprisingly well with colas equal to the biggest. However the later break after the last topping resulted in the smallest cola. This tells me that any damage survived early can see a full recovery but later ones may cost yield. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. I will update with cure and smoke details later.

Day 15: Nothing to report. Looks like it will need watering tomorrow night. Day 16: Watered with light dose of nutrients (1ml CM, 1ml G), Han and Leia showed up today. Frightened the shit out of me. They’ll be sticking around to help. Day 17: Added in some extra light. Day 18: Moved the plant another few CM’s away from the light. Continued to make good growing progress today. Han stopped by and hung out for a while. No sign of Mr.Nelson and Leia. They sure do seem to be getting on well. Day 20: Watered with nutrients again (1ml CM, 1ml G). It took nearly 3ltrs including run off. Day 21: Three weeks old today. We’ll possibly start LST in the next few days.

End of week 3 Flower. She is spectacular!!! Buds are starting to ripen and the sweet grape aroma is heavenly.

They continue to be very hungry. Mid week I had to change the reservoir and decided to go with full flower nutes from canna. They seem to like it and the flowers start to stretch along the colas. So far so good, I am really curious how they Turn out in the end. Plants have been defoliated heavily one last time to enable more light in the lower canopy.
