Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

4 really health plants, this week time to place them in bigger pots. Update 7-1-23, transplanting the plants from the cups to a bigger cup. I was a few days late because the roots where forming in circles in the cups. Because the stem was not very stiff, i added a little bit ventilation in the tent. See you next week.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

Easy strain to grow, it is true to it's name and grows some big buds. You will need to tie them up or use a trellis to keep them from dropping. Overall I am satisfied with my results with over 2 ounces per plant.

🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. 1 moth passed from germination. In result we have 12 strong plants and 4 reduced. They begin presenting wonderful scent! Increased my led on 40 % of power and it seems great. Buen fin de semana a todos !

This is going to be crazy

Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go. 2 of them got cut on day 66 the last one on day 69 but overall I couldn’t be happier with these babies they all put off some amazing buds & didn’t give me much trouble at all! This is by far my favorite auto of this grow & I will be doing another run with them! If you havnt already go get you some seeds from seedsman you won’t be disappointed!
