First week of flowering

Coming in a day early this week because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Plants are growing nicely, pistils and colors and frost, all good stuff happening. None of the colas are fat and solid like a pinecone yet, but we're on track for a nice harvest. I'm thinking 4 more weeks.

She had a great week! Not too much bud development, but seeing that she's mostly sativa, and I'm only really seeing a couple of brown pistils, I'm fine with her taking her sweet time! On Day 73 (39 flower) I installed a small co2 bag above my circulating fan; not sure how well it'll work, but a couple of my taller colas have been a little too close to my light but I didn't want to raise the Lumatek because I was getting really good amounts of light on the entire rest of the plant. Her colas are all super impressive and long. I really cannot wait to see how they turn out. I'm thinking 2/3 more weeks but who knows! Not much else to say really, she's getting really frosty as you can see from the pictures, other than that I'm just waiting for her to fatten up & ripen. Really wishing I did an indica strain but this seed was all I had as it was left over from my pops' last seed order. This lady has been all flowers as she bolsters her colas. Stocky and bushy... I'm really liking the structre. Lots of branches and lots of bud sites. Of course I'm happy. Shes in great health just cruising along. She got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up her treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as she is blooming strong now. Gotta keep that engine well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy lady. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Besides the nutrients above, they received UAN 32-0-0, liquid worm castings, Neptune’s 2-6-4, Neptune’s seaweed 0-0-1, TPS chelated calmag, and molasses. The roots seem to be bigger than the plant atm, from extra use of Mykos and azos... I would definitely expect exponential growth in the next 3 weeks. The plants are exactly where I wanted them size wise for day 21. At least 10-12 strong bud sites already each plant and they definitely smell danker than most plants I’ve grown before.

Continue with the LST this week, plant canopy is looking good and very bushy, I was forced to defoliate harder this week because the new growth was being blocked by the big fan leaves Overall a good week without any problems. Day 42 Crazy it's already week 7, it goes so fast. Rocky has outgrown the other 2 by 7 cm I think. It's hard to measure because her head always shows into one direction, incredible how flexible she is. I have no fear any storm (the 50km/h winds show up daily) could hurt her despite a tornado. Day 43 All the girls are fit, still no leaf lost, bugs etc are down to a minimum. It's a fantastic grow for me and as it looks for them too😁 I want to give a shout out to the breeders, especially Barney's. All the auto varieties I had the pleasure to grow outdoors have performed very good and stable. While it wasn't one totally outstanding, but all on a high level, top consistency. And also Kannabia, I didnt know em, but they have a nice catalogue of genetics that are special, for example some midrange THC strains, which I personally love. More "natural" plants. The Kickass is beautiful with that ol skunky smell 😊 Day 44 Today I accidently poured half of the watering can into Zillas soil, I kind of stumbled and so she got her whole feeding at once 😊 She doesnt show an signs of overwatering. Springbrunnen is infected by mildew on the 5 lowest leaf. I will cut them, it's too much of a risk. All 3 girls get a H2O2 treat and some neem oil. Cut some lower leaves that are either infected or yellow & when they're easily removable. I don't like taking off leaves, it's just painful at least for me. Honestly a lot of that heavy defoliation, topping, you name it, feels like torture to me. I mean yes they can be advantageous in different scenarios but my purpose is to let her grow the way SHE wants to, I just want to assist so she can bring out more of her. Day 45 Only 2h sunlight on average the last 3 days, but we're fit. Did a sunset photo shooting with Rocky, tried to make it real art. Day 46 Bad weather, dark days. Checked for bugs and stuff after the neem oil treat, there's still a few but hey - it's outdoors. They leaves I rubbed with neem oil curled up now, they didn't like it! Day 47 Rocky still working on that storm resistance 😂 Dude she's so tall & thin, several times a day I'm thinking "okay let's move her inside" but they had it hard from the beginning so I keep it that way. Zilla bulked up massively. From my current perspective Rocky needs to speed up to hit that 25.06. new moon harvest day. Increasing fertilizer to 75% because the moon calender said it and I think it's the right timing according to the lifecircle.

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. HLG 260w Qb288v1 4000k; 20/4 light schedule. 24 inches from canopy. Temp range 72-81F. RH range 42-55%. LST has really brought out the potential colas on both plants. One is lagging a bit behind the other, but not by much. The light is so strong the plants are nearly flat due to LST - 5.5 inches tall Day 28 What should my nutrient schedule be this week? Using Fox Farms soil trio. Thinking 1/4 strength grow big and tiger bloom every other feeding. Hoping they get a good stretch, trying to get highest yield I can (my first experience not having to purchase cannabis from anyone!) Watering every 24 hours with 1/4 gallon pH corrected 6.3 well water ( no runoff). Entire smart pots feels light and dry before I water either plant.

Getting even closer now. Seeing some propr swelling and bulking on the bud sites now. Very strong smell coming from tent.

This is it, the time is here to chop the plants. It looks like two of them could go a bit more, like a week or two, but if I do that then the other ones that are complete around 3-4 of them will be over ripe and they are already fox tailing a bit and not a huge fan of that. I have seen some clear winners in the tent for the self judged mini contest I have going on. Its going to take some time to judge them fully as I'll want a min 1month cure on some of thees strains. Found some weird growth inside the boom+ product on the last feed, dumped it out and then when removing the label for recycling it noticed there was a weird [A] under the label, I don't know what this means, the product was fine when I opened it so this was a my problem but the [A] is a mystery. Little photo and video flyby of the tent, tomorrow is chop and dry.

I find a way to feed her automaticly when I 'll be out, Every day I start the pump for 30 sec (about) to give her 2 liters of nutes with my AFS (Automatic Feeding System) D59/F15 - 29/05/23 - Automatic feeding D60/F16 - 30/05/23 - Automatic feeding D61/F17 - 31/05/23 - Automatic feeding D62/F18 - 01/06/23 - Automatic feeding D63/F19 - 02/06/23 - I'm back, Nora looks ok, automatic feeding works.
