Struggled with possibly a calcium and magnesium deficiency on #4. Had to remove some damaged leaves and now have separated it to her own reservoir. Has not stunt her growth, she is bout 5 inches taller atm then her sisters. Flow has been a struggle, if I was do one thing different is go with a 1" drain system instead of the 1/2" it presently has. Started with a drip, yet due to clogs and wanting a faster circulation, I changed to a steady flow over the clay. Presently #1 - #3 are on one reservoir and #4 on its own reservoir (In the video above shows #4). It's been a matter of adjusting the output flow and tubing size to get maximum flow without backing up the drain system.

3rd week, transplanted to 1 gallon containers. Adjusting light to coincide with southern California sunrise time.

Not stretching as much and the buds are starting to bulk up all the bud sights have a nice purple fade. She’s a short plant but looks like she will be productive in the end. Day 47 had to remove some of the big fan leaves that were blocking light on some of the bud sites below them. She's really starting to put on some weight.

For first two plants Used glass of water + seed sew directly to soil once tap root ~6mm. For the second two plants I used GOW + Paper towel method. Substrate is 2/3 fox farm ocean forest +1/3 happy frog top. For the second two plants used 2/3 bio flower 365 soil + 1/3 happy frog top. (due to my plants being auto flowers the all-purpose 365 soil likely would have been a less hot alternative). All baby janes were potted in final 3-gallon fabric pots. Didnt plan to do diary at start so apologies for some lack of main character development.

So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

Not a lot of growth, it's just too cold in Blighty at the moment. Added some foam insulation under the pot and placed a heat mat under the insulation to avoid direct contact with the pot. Time will tell!

The 22nd and 23rd of of july nothing important happened, we provided some water and the plant was looking quite good The 24th of july a heatwave started, reaching 40C° outside, i needed to move the plant to my balcony, she continued outdoors but with some more shadow as the direct sunlight for such a long time would have fulminated the little plant 25th of july we provided bioenhancer from green house and some synergy mycorrhizae 26th of july nothing 27 of july water 28th of july nothing 29 and 30 of July starting week 2 veg. Temperature seems to start getting better, next couple of days we will move the plant to the roof again, gave only water

We are entering week 9 now! She’s an absolute beast! Smells is strong but very fresh and tasty. The upper buds seems to be ready to harvest but I think I will give the whole plant another week until chop, chop :)

This may be her last week. She's at day 56 since 12/12 I haven't decided whether I wanna push her to day 63 or not. She has a nice mixture of amber on the tops already So I did decide to chop

So this is how the ladies are looking at the end of Week 1 from Seed, all 5 ladies are looking great, what I will do is pick the best looking 4 out of the 5 before transplanting 👍🏾😎

Hey 👋,willkommen zurück die Pflanzen sind mittlerweile in der 9. Woche. Die Woche verlief ohne Probleme, die 4 neuen Pflanzen wachsen gut und schnell ich habe bei ihnen das erste mal Mulchen ausprobiert(mit Stroh). Die großen Pflanzen stecken ihre ganze Energie in die Buds, sind stark angeschwollen und der Geruch ist mittlerweile sehr stark 🤤. Ich habe jetzt schon fast seit einer Woche damit angefangen die beiden Purple Punch zu flushen, sie brauchen sicherlich noch knapp 1 Woche bis sie fertig sind. Beide haben ca. 90% milchige und 10% Bernstein gefärbte Trichome. Die anderen Pflanzen brauchen sicherlich noch mind. 3-4 Wochen bis sie fertig sind. Ich habe auch die Dünger Menge reduziert (Grow-Fish Mix) da sie kaum noch Stickstoff benötigen. Die Wassermenge ist immer noch 2l (pH: 6,5-6,8) aller 3-4 Tage je nachdem wie die Erde sich anfühlt. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit beträgt immer um die 60%-65%. Das war’s auch wieder für die Woche, ich freue mich schon auf die Ernte der beim Purple Punch und ich habe auch einen Haufen Bilder gemacht ,over and out ✌️🏽

Final stretch, let’s hope I can figure out when to harvest at max potency.

4/19: I foliar fed her today. 4/20: I fed her with full strength veg nutes for the first time today....it's ON! 4/22: I FIM'd her today and gave her about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. Later, I rinsed off all the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow. 4/23: Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲 Tomorrow I'll spray her down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins. Tomorrow, I'll probably move her into my little tent for another week or so. Then she's gonna take off... to the great outdoors. 4/24: I did a foliar application of Harpin proteins today and I fed them with about 1/4-gallon each. I observed that they are both popping pistils already. I'll start increasing P and K with the next feeding. I turned on the 3rd pair of QB's and bud boosters today and removed all the blues and cool whites from the garden. 4/25: Was busy with life, but checked on her a couple of times. She's happy. I am maintainin a 21-23 C with around 67-75% RH, and with all 3 beans now popped, I am very excited about this grow day 5 of germination. Temp: 21.5c RH 75%. The sunset sherbert autos x2 (total 3) are also freshly emerged, and for now the SF-1000401h Evo 100W will be powering the babiesd, swapped out for the Mars Hydro FC-E1500 150W (+complete adlite set). later on this afternoon. Spider Farmer's 6L humidifier with sensor is doing a great job, and so is the dehumidifier , both are operating fine in the 70x70x1,60 tent. Air flow at 25% on a 4" inline fan with 204CFM. Light at 30% at 18 inches. No Adlites in operation. 📆 Semana 4 La planta sigue ajustándose tras el exceso de EC, con el pH aún terminando de estabilizarse. La absorción es algo irregular pero en mejora, y la turgencia se mantiene correcta mientras la raíz consolida el equilibrio. La estructura permanece ordenada y las puntas principales ya muestran los primeros “erizos”, señal de que la transición floral avanza pese al reajuste del medio. El verde recupera gradualmente, con leves marcas en hojas grandes aún visibles. El estiramiento entra en su fase final y la formación empieza a tomar protagonismo. Ajustando el entorno para poder formar. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!
