This week sees the start of Flowering. This should be week 4 but I lost pics of seedling stage. I changed my mind and decided to defoliate and allow more light penetration. I also took off the lower stems that had not yet reached out to the light. I am hoping the energy of the plant will be focussed upwards. My lights are sitting around 550-600 Ppfd and will sit around that mark until the end of vertical growth. DLI is around 25-30 on 19 hours of light. VPD is in the zone with temp of 23C and humidity of 47%. The HiparGero 800W LED is an excellent fixture for the price and the optic 1XL is a nice new addition. The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. I’ve showcased their art, photographs, and their lifetimes. I shared our family history through old photos while also showcasing the art of Alphonse Mucha in the Art Neuveux style he created in the early 1900's. The femininity reflected in his art elevates women to Goddesses with their flowing hair and floral backgrounds. In the diary I indicated I wanted to be a healer in my younger years. I wasn't a medical professional by career choice, but I provide natural nontoxic solutions for cleaning and beauty products and have for my family and friends for over 25 years. My results indicate I have a lot to learn. This was my 3rd grow and I still have problems with over feeding my auto girls. wh For all future grows I will reduce any synthetic fertilizer to 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended dosage. Overfeeding caused clawing and canoeing followed by nutrient lockout. While I was trying to correct this problem, flushing for 3 weeks to get out the excess fertilizers and salts, the girls were already overmature and past harvest. Checking trichomes at 10 weeks, there were few trichomes and didn't see much more until week 12. I checked with my phone camera at 10x magnification every other day. I saw lots of clear, then clear and milky, then all milky but never did I see any amber trichomes. The plants began to reveg based on the King Crown buds developing (see pics in week 15). The CBG may have degraded to CBN since I was 3-4 weeks late in harvest. If that is true, I don't mind since I need sleep medicine too. I lost Circe at the end due to aphid infestation. Ater several power washing with the hose on jet, we could not get the bugs off. So, I chopped her and into the trash she went. I did only minor defoliation near the end of the grow but neither plant was very leafy. For future grows, I will defoliate on a schedule, do some stress training maybe fimming, lollypopping, and defoiliating. Note to self: when buying seeds, look for more growing information on the strain such as when trichomes are expected and days to harvest. Knowledge is power. On the flip side, my happiness comes from the completion of a grow the harvest was 57 grams of smoke and 26 grams trim was not the highest yield but workable for what I need. As I indicated in the beginning, my plan, in addition to enjoying the smoke, is to put CBG in my health & beauty products. So, you don't have to wait for me to make mine, I've loaded a pain salve recipe above from Emily Kyle for a CBD or THC. The recipe shown makes 3/4 cup but can be doubled or halved. I'm, so excited I have decarbed my CBG trim and will use to make this formula while the buds are curing. I will also include some Lemon auto which is 17:17 CBD:THC to give it some other cannabinoids. I'll also put the recipe in the recipe diary. CBG will go in the coconut oil I use in my toothpaste ( recipe loaded in recipe file) If you follow me, check my recipe diary periodically as I will add new food and beauty recipes in future grows. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

16 days of slow drying each plant with the environment controlled inside the tent with 2 meters. I have two fans on, pointing at the floor to circulate the air temps - 20 - 23 º humid - 50- 60 %

Again all plants are alright. LED runs at 600w, the climate is constant. Plants getting really sticky and smelling more and more.

So the soil plants have reached the flushing stage. Hit the with the last dose of kleanse two days ago and then a big bath of straight ph water this evening. Will flush them for about another week. The plan is to cut the four soil plants down next weekend. The trichromes are all cloudy and starting to get some Amber’s. The buds especially the tops are all dense and sticky. All four plants even tho being same strain have very unique characteristics. But all have the same sticky gas smell. The frost production is pretty amazing with the cyco I was a little nervous about the bud density at first but they really packed weight in the last few weeks. The hydro plant is about a week behind but man is it big AF! It’s got as much bud as two of the soil plants easily! The roots have been kinda out of control but it will be fine with how late it is. The hydro buds already have more density I. The buds compared to where the soil plants were at this stage but so that is exciting. I have a good feeding of the flowering nutes in the res now.
