Alright so we're moving along as best we can with some weird looking growth but it's still growth lol. We started the Athena blended line this week but it's still early so we'll see how they look after this week. I'm hoping they grow out of this weird looking foliage. I believe it's from too much Alfalfa Ferment so I dropped it when we switched over to synthetic. Other than that we're doing great and in a couple more weeks we'll transplant the photos and put them in flower.

It was my first grow and I really screwed it up a lot, but it resisted all my beginner mistakes, pests, stress, being without irrigation, irrigation without measuring PH, revegetation, etc. I love her, really, in love with this strain. Stardawg is really starting to bud now, much slower of course but expect it to decimate the autos in yield. Trying to keep humidity sub 50 is hard with no dehumidifier

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. In next 3 or 4 days I will cut her 😇 Cinderella and Bruce Banner drinking less from a avg. 1.7l/day to 1.25l/day, so end of flowering for this two will be in around 2 weeks. Cinderella looks really good, she should give a good harvest. Update: Day 67 Happy time !! Harvest time !! Finally Purple Lemonade get to the final point.
