🍋 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 7 from Seed Flower Week 3 | 12/12 from Seed Welcome back everyone — and welcome to anyone just joining the journey 👋 This is our Lemon Cherry Gelato update, currently Week 7 from seed, which we’re considering Flower Week 3 in our 12/12-from-seed room. There’s a lot to talk about this week, so let’s start by bringing everyone up to speed. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run is part of a larger 8×8 mixed-genetics environment, where multiple cultivars share the same room, light strategy, and environment. The approach from day one has been: • low stress • observational • plant-led decisions • learning in real time No chasing perfection — just paying attention. The Lemon Cherry Gelato plants have been vigorous and very bushy since early on, with strong branching and dense foliage that required intervention as flower development began to accelerate. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Why This Week, Why This Way This week we performed a fairly deep defoliation, similar to what was done on a few other girls in the room. Why? • The plants were extremely bushy • Light penetration was becoming limited • Airflow needed improvement • Bud sites were stacking fast We removed a significant amount of inner and overlapping foliage to: • allow photons to pass through the canopy • improve airflow • help the plant focus energy where it matters It may look aggressive in photos, but it was done intentionally and carefully. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure & Phenotypes You’ll notice two slightly different expressions in the photos: • First photos → Lemon Cherry Gelato • Second one → what we’re calling the “other” Cherry Gelato Both plants: • very bushy • beautifully structured • incredibly lush green One plant showed some funky leaf expressions, but nothing concerning — genetics being genetics. Both were defoliated deeply, but not excessively — just enough to give them room to breathe. They are not alone in the room, and in a shared environment, balance matters. ⸻ 🔥 Minor Observations • A few burned leaves from under-canopy lighting • Nothing serious • Easily managed • Already addressed You’ll spot them in some of the mini photos. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding — Why We Changed Nothing This week, nothing was changed on purpose. Current parameters: • Day temperature: ~28 °C • Relative Humidity: ~65% • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Plant height: ~40 cm to ~80 cm • Lighting: LED Many growers would say these temperatures are too high for flower — but context matters. Under LED lighting, leaf surface temperature runs ~2–4 °C cooler than ambient room temperature. Because of that, we focus on leaf VPD, not room VPD. The plant is what matters — not the number on the wall. We are not chasing numbers. We are paying attention to them. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Response The plants are telling us clearly that they’re happy: • deep, lush green foliage • no visible stress • strong internodal structure • uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes When the plant is happy, stability beats adjustment. 🦆**Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 6 Flowering Phase**🏆🏻 Ayo, what’s poppin’, fam? Zuppler back with that Week 6 flowering update, straight from the heat. We hittin’ the late stages of flower, and the girls are still stackin’ up them buds, but I had to make a few adjustments this week. Caught a little leaf burn – nothin’ major, just a sign the nutes were hittin’ too hard. So I dialed it back a bit, gave ‘em a lighter mix to keep things in check. I also switched things up with the feed – swapped out Big Bud for Overdrive. Figured it’s time to really push these girls through the finish line, and Overdrive’s gonna help bring out that extra weight and resin in these last weeks. So far, they’re takin' it well, no stress. The buds are still thickening up nice, and trichs are gettin’ cloudier by the day. The whole grow room’s smellin' loud now, like someone cracked open a stash. Temps and humidity still locked in, keepin' everything balanced while they finish out strong. We’re cruisin’ towards the end, just lettin’ these ladies do their thing. With the nutes adjusted, I’m expecting them to bounce back from that slight burn and finish up real clean. A few more weeks, and we’re lookin’ at a solid harvest. Zuppler out. This strain looks absolutely amazing. I ended up keeping the other purple punch going . I didn’t continue it in the diary . I had intended to kill it because of the way it looked. I guess it had wrinkly leaf syndrome . It ended up turning out 🤩. 1000 grams from two plants. The smell from them while harvesting was overwhelming.

Was only able to plant 4 out 5 seeds one seed still hasn't germinated yet.

Working on getting these girls a bit bushier to fill up the pots a bit more before bloom. Tried to top them both the same, but one grew two new stems (as expected) and the other grew 4... No idea what I did?

Some are swelling , one is smelling very different to the others . I seem to have 6 phenos from small to tall and rounded buds to thin spear shaped buds. I'm not sure which is my favourite yet but one has a very unique smell almost like pineapple and exodus cheese , it could be that one but I also like the bud formation on another,, we will see

🌿 Khalifa Kush - Sun-Kissed and Stacking! ☀️? Welcome to Week 10! The Khalifa Kush is putting on a spectacular show out in the natural light. She is soaking up the sun and turning into an absolute jungle of healthy, vibrant foliage. 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Canopy Density: Just look at how thick she is getting! The internodal spacing is tight, and she is stacking leaves on top of leaves. The structure is incredibly dense, creating a massive, bushy frame with multiple strong tops fighting for the light. 🌳 Foliage Health: The close-up shots show off exactly what we want to see. The leaves are a perfect, rich, vibrant green with deep, healthy ridges and sharp serrations. She is praying beautifully toward the sun, showing zero signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies. 🍃 Sunbathing: The way the natural sunlight catches the texture of those fan leaves highlights just how robust she is right now. She is heavily fueled up and actively converting all that outdoor energy into explosive vegetative growth. ✨ 💧 Next Steps: With a canopy this incredibly thick, the main focus moving forward is going to be keeping an eye on the airflow through the center of the plant. As she continues to bush out, I might need to consider tucking some of those massive fan leaves or doing a very light defoliation to make sure the inner growth sites are getting the light and breeze they need to thrive. For now, I'm just letting her enjoy the great outdoors! Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨

Very happy how fast these plants bounced back agter that cold spell very hardy plants loving the better weather with better temps in my tent on course to flip to flower in a couple weeks

When I got into the room one day before I scheduled the harvest, her branch collapsed under the weight of the buds. Not surprising, the buds were massive and dense! This is one of the best problems to appear during a grow, could never be mad at a plant for lack of strength to support the massive buds. I decided to view it as a sign from the plant, that it's done, it had enough, so the harvest happened a day early. Her buds were too tall for my DIY Cooler and since the buds were so dense, it wasn't easy to get to the stem to cut it and since the buds were covered in trichomes, the gloves were super sticky. The genetics were pretty amazing to grow, super happy plant with amazing growth - thank you, @Exotic_Seed for the seeds! 🙏

this week I was a lil happy because I pollinate my C4matic with a Male pink kush the feminizing spray tiresias mist didn't work the way I thought it would. thank God I had a Male coming up in my outdoor garden...I can already see seeds a little more than I expected, for some reason I only wanted to pollinate 1 bud but got seeds on the main and a few lower buds still happy for that will update images .

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Que pasa familia, vamos con la tercera semana de floración de estas Black muffin F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío, me quede con 3 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros y el trasplante se realizó correctamente. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Las jodidas han estirado bastante, ya veremos que ocurre como va todo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Since this week is the first with 3 plants in inside the tent and Amnesia 2 has an urgend light stress problem, she switches places with Amnesia 1. We also thought of some new intuitiv names for the plants. The new order and names are now: Long Girl (Amnesia 2) - right side Middleman (Amnesia 1) - middle The Dwarf (Amnesia 3) - left side Even though Long Man doesnt look as happy leafe-wise, the problem got a little better with not as many neawly infected ones. Unluckily she doesnt have as many leaves anymore and the buds at the top look a little naked. Never the less bud growth looks the best out of all plants we think, which is suprising. Middlemans leafs turnt a little yellow-ish, so she got some more nutrigen-rich fertilizer. This helped already, with new growth having a darker green. Great news. She looks good and healthy overall. Buds looks nice aswell. Dwarf plant is kinda just existing. It seems like she is just happy in life and doesnt have as high standards. Growth is not as fast, but she also doesnt really do any work, which is fine. Buds on all 3 plants are very sticky and have a great aroma already.

Plant grew very well overall. Will join my monster auto flower collection. Unfortunately my harvest video was corrupted during filming, and I lost the footage. 😢😭🤬. Pretty much explains my feelings. Plant has a great citrus smell, and grew massive. It loved the Viparspectra P4000 light. Thanks again PEV Thank you grow diaries community for all the support. Missed a few weeks due to I.T. issues. These girls are going great filling out really well, getting some big buds smell sweet/fruity 2phenos are really frosty all are very sticky in week 6 of flower.

Week 4 Flower (11/24 - 11/30): Well, well, well... This was the week of thanksgiving and both of the kids parents were out of the state! We had to call in uncle Marcus to come and tend to them. We set him up with the second batch of tea on 11/18 (I'm sure I've given them like at least 4-7 batches of tea so far even though the feeding instructions said start during week 3...) but honestly, I feel like it was a good decision. The canopy isn't as leveled as I would like it to be, butttt there are ton's of bud sites coming up. I did a healthy defoliation (that honestly scared me).. but I think it was for the better removing any overlapping leaves, lower branches that were not receiving much light, and new branches below the top three nodes that were stretching to get light. The new branches were the hardest to remove, as it was hard to tell whether they could live on as new bud sites... but remembering that most of those were beneath the top of the canopy and that all energy is transferred energy.. guided our defoliation. We were home for exactly 24 hours between 11/17 and 12/1 and that is when we prepared another tea for the plants to get 11/27 from there they got one more watering of plain water before another tea to kick off week 5. The stretch is in full effect and they might get a little taller, but we can clearly see where the buds will be packing on weight soon.
