The buds on Black Opium are looking so fat, and they're so heavy I've had to stake the plant with my new stronger stakes. I have tied the stakes to the stems with soft fabric ties. I couldn't be happier with the results that we have so far, and I think we are still a few weeks away from harvest. Quite a lot of the pistils are still white. I like to leave my plants a little bit longer. Just to make sure that they're ready. I always check the trichomes. Maybe she'll even stack on some more weight who knows, fingers crossed, and we'll see what happens! I'm just trying to keep the buds and the stems intact. The plant has definitely increased the need for water and feedings. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 3.25L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K 2.5TSP 💜 Cal-Mag 1.5TSP 💜 Biosys 2TSP PH: 6.5 PPM: 1020 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. This was my first outdoor autoflower experience. Very happy with the results. Buds could have had a better taste in my opinion but that is just preference.

3/23: The pistils on all three of these plants suddenly withered, and upon inspection, I see that they're almost ripe.👍 I let them go totally dry this time and fed them with about 3/4 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, cha ching, tiger bloom, big bloom, and humic acid. This was probably the last time they'll get any nutes, but I may water them once more with sweet & sticky and terpinator. 3/27: I mixed up water with sweeteners and terpene enhancers and cal-mag, then pulled everybody out of the closet...lo and behold, all 3 of these plants were ready to flush! I can't find my 20x macro lens for my phone, so I'm using my mini-microscope until I can get another mobile device lens kit from Amazon. All three had about 80% cloudy and 10% amber trichs. so I put about 12 gallons of filtered water with Sledgehammer through each one. Lovely buds, and many of them, but I sure hope they swell up some more!👈 3/29: I added a few more MicracleLED blue (450nm-470nm) bubs around the garden. topped raining for a day and my RH is back down to lower 40%'s. Shortie will go into a dark room tomorrow and her big sister will get fed.

Again, a week has passed. I repotted the plants into their final 15L/4 gallons shoes with Plagron All-Mix. Plants are looking fine, not perfect, but okay. It feels like they are a bit overwatered and/or very slightly overfed because of the All-Mix. For now, I reduce the watering by 50%. Furthermore, I did a FIM on another Jack Herer (#3). The first FIM I did on JH#1 is looking to work out perfectly, as I can see the development of four new stems (check out the pictures). Great! The SP 3000's intensity was increased to full power, it's very bright. I am happy with the quality of the light. It does what it was built for and does it very well. Temperature and humidity stats are looking perfectly so far. I hope it stays like that, the days are getting warmer as summer comes our way. But my ventilation is currently running on intensity level 1/5, so we still have some room for maneuver. In addition, I will get a second oscillating clipfan soon. Next week I plan to FIM plants that have not been FIMed yet and let them recover. By then, most of the stress for the plants should be over and I can let them grow in peace. Stay tuned!

At the beginning of week 5 they all look a bit small and bushy to me. But let's see.. .Maybe they get a little kick and grow during the first weeks of the flowering phase, which we've now entered :) I cut a really small amount of leaves that were touching the ground on the auto bending one.And I started giving them two additional hours of light. Hope they like it. UPDATE: I had to start defoliation because the leaves were so bushy that they were getting wet in between... Hope this helps : And hope they get a little taller...

Day 38: I am getting the big 50L fabric pots primed and set with the eco-thrive Living Organic Soil . I am a few days over the update so the photo/video is from day 36. I am in the process of rebuilding too so time has been a luxury.

Day 67 of flowering and any day it's getting cut down but truthfully thinking bout day 70 which will be on a Tuesday which I'm off I did turn the dim down a lil bit overall everything looks good smells good and soon hopefully taste good also my picture of my amber wouldn't load but on 5/11 I first saw them so Day 65

Ansonsten habe ich die Pflanze nun Mal stark ausgedünnt, damit die besser gewachsenen Triebe besser beleuchtet werden. Die Struktur der Pflanze ist sehr knotig und fest. Sie ist bisher echt der krasseste LowGainer, den ich seit ich Growe gesehen hab. Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. the buds are swelling nicely now starting to reduce the amount of feed i give it and increase the {Rain water} ,we use water from the sky all times we find its the best source of water for plants. This project is to show you can have an idea in mind and for fill it T shape {top shelf} This is all down to the spacers and remember this was a cutting straight into flower as are most of my grows,if anyone is into this and would like to learn then drop me a text. we can send you some free spacers.

. YEAR 5 - 2nd quarter ----------------------- The 5th season continues with 3 Gorilla Punch from FB and 3 Original XXL from GB in the same tent. A disappointment: with 6 plants, they yield 179 g, less than the previous 5. But in only 10 weeks. Green Brand did better than Fastbuds for a first try.

a week or so and you could never tell there were two plants in the tent ! she has taken over the entire space now. Increased all the good stuff up a notch because she has never got any burnt tips or anything, she just drinks and drinks. Every 24 hours, 4 litres of nute water (with about 400ml runoff). I mean I never thought a plant would drink that much ??? I am questioning the feeding method, this is very binding... an irrigation system perhaps? Meanwhile off she goes, no fucks given

Definitely filling out this little tent and already showing that deep purple that was hunted by Brother Geoff at HBS... I'm hoping I can keep pumping her with this MegaCrop medley and see where this grow goes. She's got a lovely grape smell with a little skunk on the back end and hopefully will only get more powerful as the flowering cycle progresses.

Harvest on day 91 of cycle , day 54 of flowering.. I could leave it few days more for sure however my ladt harvest is nearly finishing so I need to dry this plant as soon as possible hehehe.. Purple punch has really frosty buds, it didn’t grow as much as I wish(I had to move the plant to the toilet with my burple light as there was no space for 3 plants in my 2x4 tent) but they are looking insanely good, with a strong flavor of grape, I am impressed with this smell/flavour, all covered in trichomes, I can’t wait to smoke it.. So my way to harvest it is I cut it down on the main branch and hang to dry out.. all the plant .. I prefer dry trim because it’s way easier to trim.. so now I am gonna hang it for 2/3 weeks and then start trimming.. I will update yield and tasty as soon as I finish trimming.. Overall I am happy with the results 🙌🏼.
