Week 9: Transitioning and Training The Durban Poison photoperiods are officially settling into their long-term homes and showing some impressive vigor. After the successful transplant into the 25-gallon fabric pots, the root systems are clearly enjoying the extra breathing room. This week is all about managing that explosive growth and setting a solid foundation for the structure of the plants. #Environmental Conditions Location: Outdoor Deck Climate: High plains (Variable temperatures and shifting winds) Sunlight: Full sun (approx. 14+ hours of daylight) Garden Updates & Maintenance The focus this week has shifted from recovery to Low Stress Training (LST). Given how tall this Sativa-dominant landrace can get, keeping the canopy managed is a priority.Train: Implementing a DIY bamboo trellis system. I’m gently pulling the main branches outward to encourage lateral growth and ensure better airflow through the center of the plant. Irrigation: The dual-timer manifold is up and running. The custom-drilled hoses are delivering a consistent soak, which is crucial as the Colorado sun starts to intensify. Nutrients:Sticking with the **FOOP Organic** regimen. The leaves are a deep, healthy green with no signs of transplant shock or nutrient burn. Pest Management: The **African Marigolds** are positioned as sentinels around the fabric bags. So far, the companion planting is doing its job—no signs of mites or aphids. Observations The nodal spacing is starting to stretch slightly, which is expected for Durban Poison. The stalks are thickening up nicely, becoming sturdy enough to handle the afternoon gusts. Plans for Week 10 * Continue adjusting the ties on the LST setup. * Monitor for any early signs of "the stretch."

Day 73 Day 38 Flower Monday 6th Camera is doing no justice, little video, although to my own fault I did not have phone with me when feeding yesterday for decent pictures. I will update again on water tomorrow ✌️ So far stretch has stopped, the recovery from lollipopping and defoliating is immaculate, she is so strong, already seeing denser bud sites and focused energy towards tops. This week the nice flowering continues. I bought a new light in China, Samsung LM301H 240W so I added it into my grow tent. The weak plant is probably destroyed and the yield will be very small.

The stretch is real, they are being fed every other day, 1gal/plant basically. Nice uniform stretch along both rows.

Wow things have been looking good so far, Really no problems.. Slow but I'm seeing the fruit the joy pop out of my ladies. So i gave Trina a cut after feeding very heavy as you can see in the pic. Ran out of Ph up and Gina ran Ph of smfh 5.6, that's all I'm going to say.. Cross my fingers also my Rh really been up and down. I'm going to fix that tomorrow.

Today is their first day out, they aren’t loving it. Hopefully they’ll adjust. Has any one used King Crab before?

Now they are a bit bigger , this is the start of week 2 , now day 19 in real time from germination. I would appreciate any help to maximise the yield. I feed around 500-600 ppm. How much should the drain be ? I have to plants struggling, one had 500 run off , should I give nutes or flush them more ?

June 14th update Clone#1 Got chopped last week had balls Clone#2 22 inches growing really well. Much like number 4 in terms of verticals growth but significantly less width. Might be good for people who have less square footage but taller tents Clone#3 18 inches. Short and squat. Interesting structure giving what this plant should be. I bet this one will yield small but interested to see how she progresses/smokes Clone#4 28 inches. Massive vertical growth and side branches are trying to take up the whole tent. Will see how it flowers but its body is preparing for a lot of weight. I expect this one to yield huge General Update 3 remaining females growing very nicely. I’ve never actually seen a cannabis plant that looks like this, seems straight out of the early propaganda but I guess it is a land race. Aside from flipping to 12/12 I’ve also turned on the red leds which will help once flowers start forming. I’m going to continue to give just water at this point. I expect the plants to stretch like crazy giving they are pure sativas but we will see especially with the squat one. I’m also going to be putting in some thin sticks to help support the side branching, if I don’t do this once she starts flowering it will start tipping over Mothers/father plants don’t look too happy. That defoliation I did last week did a number on them. I am seeing new growth so they will all recover. Next weekend I’m moving them into slightly larger pots with newer soil too make them happy. I started feeding this girls two days ago and they look healthy except one of them, so if someome has seen this brown spots before and knows what this could be It would help a lot. It started yo happen before feeding her. Besides that, all going great, i am going to wait about a week more or so to start training them. It is starting to smell a little bit, seet/citric like tropical juice. I will keep you updated!

Coming along great 1 is obviously the winner on this girl. So others will be booted out for room. On vacation so stuff little slower coming in. Will be back to normal enjoy the pics On vacation in Florida in a condo 3 bedroom all 5 kids!!! Stay up everyone Love

Poda apical hecha y brotes y hojas que no pintan na, fuera, a crecer 4 brotes con fuerza, que de estos sacaremos 8 y así sucesivamente. Buueno, pues para lo pocha que iba, y se ve que fue, está recuperando muy bien. Edito domingo 22/02: cambio de armario, de luces y de maceta. El armario es la leche, se nota la calidad joder jajajajajaja es de la marca Vevor, poco conocida de momento... Pero dadle tiempo, uso también su extractor y de verdad que funciona de lujo y muy silencioso. Las luces las tengo a 300W ya que es lo minimo pero bastante alejadas, a unos 40/50 cm. Les llega una media de 11,12k de ppfd. Y lo dicho, trasplantadas a maceta todas.

Hi Growmies, She is developing nicely and still in her flower stretch, she also became a bit thirstier than before. The rootball is still growing at d looking pretty healthy, only a bit of staining from the Rhizotonic. The feeding regimen has not changed since last week. The ppfd at the canopy is in the 600 range at the moment. Thanks for stepping by and hope to see you next week.

Final week update I am trimming the plants as they get ripe leaving them under the lights for a few days before I chop them. My theory is that trimming them makes them think they are being attacked by something and what are the plants defense 🤔 to get sticky and stinky 🤔 I do see a difference after a couple days, some more than others but all of them add terpenes and trichomes ❄️🔥❄️🔥 Thank you all for visiting and following along with me... 🌸 Week 5 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update 👀🔥 Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. 📈 Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now — some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what I’d personally consider the “good” category so far 👀 🍃 Maintenance & feeding: I’m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Small adjustments and observation are becoming more important now as every pheno responds differently. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity staying between 63–65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged from previous adjustments Now I’m especially excited to see how the buds start forming over the next weeks, because that will probably decide which phenos really stand out in the end 🔥🌸 The structure is there — now let’s see who delivers when it matters. 💬 Which pheno do you think will end up producing the best flowers?
