Flowering and the stretch phase have officially begun, and the canopy remains very even thanks to the earlier training. The first buds are forming nicely, and the plant looks vigorous overall. There is still some minor pest damage on a few fan leaves, but it remains healthy and is developing exactly as expected.

Hi guys So wer on week 9 of flower and I have just started ripen by general hydroponics GHE, never use this before but herd good things about it, I just want it to get a early fade as I don't want the trichomes degrading. Pheno 1 is starting to fade natraul and is well on its way, buds are dense sticky and are falling over due to weight. Pheno 2 has started its fade and buds are just as dense there just bigger and the same with pheno 3 its just lacking the fade to be harvested for my liking. Week 10 Day 1 11/25/2023 Walked in the door, dropped everything and rushed in to check on the ladies, it was past lights out so I couldn't check on the plants but checked on the pH. The PH was down to 5.19... noooooo..I adjusted it to 6.0 and crossed my fingers the plants looked good, will check on them in the morning. Week 10 Day 2 11/26/2023 Well She looked great and I think she is ready for Chop, Chop, so debating the 48 hours of darkness, or chopping today.. so going to get some breakfast and give it a think. Afternoon update: So I gave it a think and I decided to do a split harvest this run. I took the top half and left the bottom half to mature for another week. I did run out of hooks so I was forced to freeze dry some and will have that to try in 48 hours. The problem is that I will have to remember the weights that I get when I get the final harvest and all the numbers but since I am doing a split harvest anyways it will be three sets of numbers to track over the next few weeks. Week 10 Day 3 11/27/2023 Got my first little bit out of the freeze dryer and trimmed up: I got 48 grams of bud and 7.4grams of shake. Smoke is smooth will see what kind of high comes with it.. Week 10 Day 4 11/28/2023 I let them bottom half recover and get another week under their belt to color and get some trichomes on them. I will be cutting 12/2/2023 Week 10 Day 5 11/29/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 10 Day 6 11/30/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. 27/02/19 - Cant wait for these to be done as I’ve never had gelato before so I feel like I’m missing out 😂 but yeah other than I let them stretch abit taller than I usually prefer it’s all going well, new genetics/nutrients/medium seem to be doing the job. 02/03/19 - Just transplanted all into their final pot, just in time I think as it looked like the roots were starting to circle at the bottoms of the pot, sprinkled half a tea spoon of Mykos on each hole prior to the transplant & fed them 2.5 litres each. I was going to saturate the whole pot but I’ll do that next feeding.

So far it looks like I have control of the nute burn looking at the fan leave not burning/changing anymore. Started finish but started at 5pm and my led goes off at 6pm. I kept flushing till 6:20om but stopped due to the fear of the ladies herming, revegging, or anything that would cause my ladies to start off week 7 on a slow/bad start. Defoiling a little but mostly real bad burned fan leave because I believe your ladies will continue to try and repair them which pulls energy from bud developement. Flushed on 6/1/22 and ended on 6/2/22 all 3 ladies ppm is under 200 so I can make sure they have enough to ripen and fatten up. On week 8, I will do a ice flush and then 2-3 days of darkness while they freeze. Checked trichomes on 6-5-22 and some show maybe 10-20% on some colas. Will harvest all 3 on 6-12-22 probably in the morning which I seen and heard it is better because at a certain time in the day marijuana plants let out moisture and you want to keep as much of that as possible.n

Overall a very nice growing strain. I really like the open structure. I would give her 70 days of flowering. This pheno is mid on the taste and she needs more time to unfold flavors, but i would grow her again, just to have a different exhale experience. The effect is nice for focusing on whatever is in front of you. 8.5/10. A lot of sugar leaves btw, but i didnt weight it yet. I expect 40% trim of whole dried plant. Its a lot imo. The yield is on the upper XL range (100-150g range). XXL begins at 150g for me. My next grow is already running on DWC(hype). Its Lemon Cherry Gelato and Jealousy. I will mainline it too and try to sharpen my skills. Cya 😀 soon

Beginning of 2 week flush on ph balanced water. Watering heavily with a lot of run off every 3 days.

Week 4 and my plant is growing well but I think it has indica type leaves and not going to tall like sativa plants. Some leave are touching soil

Very easy to grow and forgiving, they both would take big feeds and weren't upset by high EC. Lovely dense nuggets, some had taken on a purple hue. All dripping with Trichomes and potent turpenes. I can't put a finger on the aromas but there's an old school skunky smell in the background. Completely changed from the early stages of flowering. Very smooth to smoke and reasonably potent. I'll definitely be growing this again and it's my favourite strain of this run. Good work Sweet Seeds, Sweet Gelato is a winner for me!

Next few weeks we should see some great bud development.

The Frostbanger is progressing well and has become extremely frosty over the past week. Buds are stacking nicely and continue to develop in a healthy and uniform way. Unfortunately, the pest issue is still present, although the plant remains vigorous despite the damage. If everything continues as expected, I estimate around two weeks remaining until harvest.

Damn this strain is something else I’ve never smelt anything this potent and exotic! Ripper seeds really out did themselves with this one .. I would say that the only downside is that one of the pheno’s came out looking too regular for me .. I’m strain hunting so finding something truly perfect is my goal and in this run I can’t say I found any keepers but I would definitely recommend trying this strain ! I promise it’s like nothing you have ever tasted or smelled before!

Довольно хорошо сформирована крона, я ничего не делаю с ней, я просто отпустил её в росте и в коротком темпе междоузлий она проявляет свои цветы даже в таких местах, которые скрыты от света. Цветы по всей площади относительно равномерно растут, запах по интенсивности "Нормальный", пахнет так же - скунсом. Очень ветвистая, с толстыми, короткими ветками и короткими междоузлиями в 3-5 сантиметров. Немножко подросла, на 10 сантиметров, поэтому приподнял лампу на 10 сантиметров. welcome to Day 15 1/1/20 and she is getting tall I'm going to need my new trellis net very soon, as you can see she is nice and healthy and I should not need to top water anymore. now I can relax to some extent. As always happy growing and keep your stick on the ice

Girls are thirsty still! Been having to feed/water every third day! It’s been so hot and humid, the humidity was in check but the temps hovered around 82-84 degrees in the tent this week. Gave them a light feed, with emphasis on the micro and big bud, along with two straight ph’d waterings. Tricomes are mostly cloudy with a few amber, and some clear still hanging in there. Another week for sure, maybe two or close to it. It’s a 7-8 week flowering strain, but after 16 weeks of growing, I don’t want to rush to the finish. This coming feed will be their last with nutrients and then PH’d water till harvest. I don’t flush, I just “rinse” and allow the plant to take the remaining nutrients for about 4 feeds. This seems to have worked out the best for me, flavour and smoke wise… stay tuned, here comes the good part 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
