Aug 10: looking good after yesterday’s defoliation. Added malted barley and Power Bloom as top dressing. Aug 11: note that it is a bad idea to take flash pics of photoperiod plants but I do this just before I use the 730 nm far red light. Seemed to be okay doing this last year so I’ll do it a few times this year. Aug 14: watered in morning but Bruce was wilting by late afternoon. Cannabis plants perk up quickly after watering but one should avoid reaching that point. It was hotter than expected today.

The studio photo session this week captured the exact transformation: the difference between “pre-flower promise” and “flower reality.” From here forward, every day is about bud development, resin production, and stacking density. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Bloom Formula Dialed In The nutrient program continues blending Aptus precision with Plagron bloom support. The girls are thriving on this synergy—lush green leaves, pistil burst, no signs of excess salts. At this stage, stable environment = stable flowers. New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later. Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 11 Flower 7 Blue Cheese 1 is in her last week; March 17 Blue Cheese 1 that was planted in coco had her wet trim and was put in the dark for 2 days before getting the chop on March 20. Blue Cheese 1 shows fade and nutrient usage in the upper leaves. I also see pinks and purples in the buds and leaves. They look pretty with lime greens, pinky purples in the bud formation. The buds are stacking fatter and packing on more resin on the buds which are sticky and hard. The trichomes look mostly milky with some amber as well. The stems are strong and support the heavy buds. Blue Cheese 2 in soil will remain with her tent mates Pink Rozay & Love Potion. After flushing excess nutrients out of the soil and plant, Blue Cheese 1 in coco is matured faster than Blue Cheese 2 in soil. Blue Cheese 2 shows trichome formation starting to milk up compared to BC1. Her leaves are still green with no fading. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down for both girls. She still needs a few more weeks before I’ll start flushing. Blue Cheese 2 was fed on March 17 & 19. Pics were taken on the 17th. Update day 29!!!! This Goofiez 2 genetic is strong and fast!!!

All I’m going to say is ooouff, it’s been a rough one this run and the plants took a beating especially the younger sister who’s got necrosis all over because of one fatal mistake I made; I didn’t use the correct calcium to magnesium ratio , the result ? Calcium lockout. I’m happy to say that I have managed to halt it though! Although I’m way too late , I think #2 is going to finish just fine, it’s not going to be 10/10 yield wise but there’ll be something :) As for #1 she is in a much better spot , the crown and few tops here and there are a lighter shade of green (which looks yellowish under the lights) but in actual ambient light they’re a shade darker. Well lesson learned, respect the calmag ratios! 😅

Day 21 Shes looking a little better as her new growth is much better but shes still lacking some colour hopefully soon she will full take off. Turned the auto-pots + air-domes on to get water and oxygen directly to the roots 3 days ago. Feeding Cropsalt at 5.8ph, really enjoying it atm just look at their colour😍

Still some noticeable stretch Not at all thirsty . Only 2 liters in 5 days ? Deciding on when to defoliate this week Very thin branches/ will need to prop up I think

Recovery week. Last week everything went to hell this week everything is looking up. Squanch Queen is turning into my favorite one of the bunch. She is super resilient and bounced back quickly, the Skywalker and Quarter Pounder are both going to finish early due to all the stresses and stunting early on in the grow. Squanch Queen looks to be going 9 to 10 weeks inspite of all the issues. Definitely a good strain from Night Owl to pick up if your a beginner, much more forgiving. I definitely want to try the Skywalker again with a better setup. Ph runoff is looking much much better.

Hi Like u all saw I deleted my mix max the finest diary, due problems and not being able to give each strain enough space and time on here !! So now Iam concentrating on just a few selected strains This diary is about the Trainwreck by Humboldt seeds Infos : Trainwreck is a mind-bending, potent sativa with effects that hit like a freight train. Mexican and Thai sativas were bred with Afghani indicas to produce this Northern California staple, passing on a sweet lemon and spicy pine aroma. Trainwreck begins its speedy hurtle through the mind with a surge of euphoria, awakening creativity and happiness. Migraines, pain, and arthritis are mowed down by Trainwreck’s high-THC content, and many patients also use it for relief of anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and PTSD.
