Plants took a few days to get stripped down. Missed the second week of flowering and stretching but oh well there is always next time. Very excited to see this canopy full of uniform buds its going to be a sight to behold haha.

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. I got my 2 long and narrow paper bags out. The ones the french bread are in at the store. The ones with the long plastic window in them. I went to the male plant, that I have in a different greenhouse, and got some of the open flowers and pollen inside the paper bags. This is a good male. It has lots of flowers, not many leaves, is not too tall, and is good smelling with the "rub the stem and smell your fingers" test. And the smell stays on my fingers for a few minutes, not disappearing in a few seconds. Careful not to dump out the pollen I slid the bag over the buds I pick out. I pinched the bag around the branch and held it with a clothes peg. I gently shoock the bag to get the pollen to each flower pistil. When I closed up for the night I shoock up the bag again. I gently took the bags off the next morning, careful not to spray pollen all over the place, then went a got some more pollen for the next plants. and repeated for all 6 plants. Got some yellowing of some of the older leaves. This is sort of self pruning to me, but I will add some extra nitrogen next time to slow the yellowing. I've seen a few fungus gnats around, but nothing to worry about. Ok. The Adventure Goes On. Be Great. Chuck

What an explosion in growth for week 5. Every day this plant is growing like crazy. Had to trim up some lower foliage to allow better airflow. Tied down some more branches to even the canopy especially the main stem. Rubbing the stem gives an amazing smell and can’t wait till it matures fully. Looking like this plant will be a great yield of everything keeps rocking like it has. I’m feeding a worm castings compost tea spiked with Cultured Biologix EZ Tea Bloom to feed the microbes in the soil that are essential for trichome production. Also started feeding silicon to strengthen the stems and Trichomes. Week 6 is going to be nuts with growth I can already tell.

My long vegging. Pheno of Fat Banana Auto is finally ready for harvest. Top Buds got nice purple leaf tips. Smell and bud structure is 10/10. I did wet trimming because of high humidity levels.

Pablo Escobar is moving along, and doing some bulking. She has a citrus aroma to her as well. She has been doing great, and will be a few ounces when done. Nothing more to report at the moment. Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. Day 14. Weather is finally warm enough to put them out completely. Was kind of concerned with even getting them to this point. I started them fairly early. Day 15. May 9th, 2024 They lasted all night outside finally and will stay. I did add some worm casting on top of the soil. I plan to add some veg nutes soon. Will be using roots organics terp tea line. May 11th #3 is 3.5 inches #2 2.25 inch #1 2 inch

Day 34 this lady is running, I can see flowers getting bigger every day, smell started really really soon this time so I already had to add the Carbon Filter. I’d like to close the cycle in less then 80 days. good morning friends with green thumbs..the nepal enters the 11th week and turns 86 days after its germination ... despite the rainy and cold weather in May as it hadn't happened for 20 years (I will probably change the title of my diary 😆), flowering continues despite the low sun and temperatures below 20 degrees. we hope that in the next week and in this the temperatures will rise and the sun returns to kiss my seedlings to allow me a good harvest

The Tropicana Cookie is an awesome strain with a great sweet and woody aroma. I had some issues in the beginning with the development and the grow of the plant but she bounced back. She got cut today and put to dry.
