I started germination of 4 Gelat.Og beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gelat.Og. I've grown this one out several times and I'm just absolutely in love with these genetics. One of the best terp pallets I've came across. Extremely creamy and rich aroma with a kush kick... majestic! She packs amazing bud structure and is a real branchy hauler. She packs a pretty large stretch, about 200% on average. Plus she has a bit longer of a flower time for a indica dominant... in my experience about 11 weeks. She gets a strong demand for more phosphorus mid flower. A good spike with the pk booster and shes happy as Larry! Another Seedsman masterpiece right her! Amped to dive In to this grow.

Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️

7/3/22 Stella is still moving along with the late bloom nutrient level this week. She’s getting close to the ripening stage, but still a week away. Today she received a full gallon of water mixed with the following nutrients: CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 3.8 ml FloraGro - 3.8 ml FloraBloom - 4.2 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 1 ml The pH was 6.6, and wasn’t adjusted. She took nearly the whole gallon before giving back some runoff, but it was sufficient. The runoff pH was 6.3. The tent was 80.5F, with a humidity of 60%. She is starting to fatten up and her branches are starting to get weighed down. I’ve already used all of my LST poles on other plants, so I’m going to have to figure out a way to make more space. She sits in the middle of the tent, surrounded by 4 of her daughters, and a smaller auto-period plant sitting on a box in front of her. My tent is FULL! I ran out of time today and didn’t get any new pics of her, so I added one that I didn’t use the other day. Take care, and happy growing everyone! If you’re in the USA 🇺🇸, July 4th💥, happy Independence Day!! 7/5/22 Well, it finally happened! Stella’s branches have gotten heavy enough to tip her over when she has space to herself. She is in the tent with several other large plants (her 4 daughters + 1), so she rests nestled amongst them, so she stands. When I took two of her daughters out of the tent to feed them, she tipped right over. To make a VERY long story short; I tied her upright with almost all of her branches bundled up loosely so that they all get light, then fastened her to the back of the tent. It’s going to make feeding her tricky, but she’ll be stable, and getting full light exposure. It also opens up more space in the tent. Not much, but some. I tied up her daughters branches too. Enough about that. She received a full gallon of water mixed with the same nutrient level as the last feeding noted above. The solution pH was 6.5, and wasn’t adjusted. She gave back plenty of runoff with a pH of 6.3. The tent was 83F, and humidity was 65%. That’s a little high to me, at least compared to my previous grows. However, my tent has never been this full before. I adjusted the fan to a higher height, and with all the plants tied up somewhat using LST methods, I’ve increased open space between them with hope of improving air flow. We’ll have to see how it goes. Happy growing everyone! 7/7/22 I’m just going to write the basics today. Stella is still triced up nicely in the back of the tent so that she doesn’t fall over because of the weight of her own branches. Her buds are continuing to fatten up, and she looks lovely! Orange hairs all through her buds! Yummy!! She’s still getting the late bloom nutrients till next week when we actually begin the ripening stage. I thought of adjusting it, but decided that it was good enough. She gave back plenty of runoff with a pH of 6.3. The temp was 83.3F, with a humidity of 54%. I didn’t take any pictures of her today. Added some photos of plants I sent to my cousin this week into the mix his are going strong too. Days are getting longer and you can tell now the plants are starting to reveg will be updating again Monday. Just got back from 7 days in the wilderness. So getting everything back on schedule had some family watching while I was gone.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. ph meter is broken. i use ghe liquid to read ph lol ph goes down every night. 650ppm is still too high for this strain, drinks a liter everyday i need a bluelab ph/ec meter 2 Februari: the buds start to appear on the hydro plant with thc everywhere lol

This lady is going from strength to strength following last weeks slug attack! I'm sure it may have slowed growth just a little while she was repairing the wound created by the slug munch. The weather has been nice and consistent, all adding to the healing process and the low stress training encountered. 👍🏻

This is my favourite plant in the tent. She is solid rock hard buds. The smell is mental and I really cant wait to try this.She is still taking full feed. So pretty the pictures do not do it justice.

The third week has ended with more white pistils and the smell has increased in the hours when the lights are off
