Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. I thank you all for reading and joining me on this adventure. Kim and Satan says hello!

Some of the leaves have been starting to yellow indicating that the plants are now needing a little more feed and are getting towards the end of their life cycle! The smell of the gelato x gmo is overwhelming when I first approach the plants, and the blueberry x mother of Berry is a more subtle sweet/fruity smell.

01/03/22 Watered plants 2L of nutrient water each , assessed plants to determine what LST I'm doing, looks like these plants have potential to be monsters. Let's hope I don't fuck it up now. 01/01/22 Topped and defoliation was done, didn't water that day even though they needed it I wanted to give them a day or two from the stress they went through, watching to make sure they didn't wilt. Its paying of not listening to my ocd mind thinking I need to do something everyday, I didn't even want to top them, but they where looking very kushy type of plant. And I have trellis going in later two tiers. 01/08/22 Did a full water threw tested run off , it's sitting 800ppm above what I'm feeding, next watering straight 6.0ph water. Lights at 💯%

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. We are displaying some of the collected data for everyone to see the details. Stay tuned as we explore this further in the next report! As always, we want to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors and the amazing community. Special thanks to Aptus, Groovebags, Cannakan, Promix, Ziggy Papers, TrolMaster, and Plagron, Zamnesia and Grow Diaries for making the Eternity Cup possible. I apprecilove the support from all sides—lovers, haters, competitors, and fellow growers. The competition continues to push us to improve, and i am thrilled to see the incredible reports from others. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience, and i couldn’t be happier to be part of it. For those following along, we invite you to check out our YouTube channel, where we upload full 4K episodes showcasing the entire journey. Some episodes are too large to be uploaded directly to Grow Diaries, so YouTube is the best place to catch everything in high definition. This marks the end of VEG, and we are officially ready to flip to FLOWER. Next week, we will dive into the TrolMaster System in action, check the data insights, and monitor how the garden adapts to the shift. Stay tuned! Hi there ! So from today 600W LED is placed in with 18 hours on and 6 hours off light schedule. Ventilation works at the same time as the lamp does. Watering: It will happen with 25 ml a day so 2× 12.5 ml water per plant. Fertilization starts on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. LST is also done as it can be seen. They don't look good this way but they just need to grow and get stronger it helps to yield more with the side branches. I will use FIM as well when they are ready I think at week 4 or 5. Day 18: OMG, I just realized I think I placed too close the lamp so I can see signs of burn of the plants. I mean some leaves get crispy in the edges. It is a brand new lamp and it was I think too close. I changed up higher. Hope it will be okay. Today was very hot outside so temperature went up as well even when the ventilation is on I saw it was 30 degrees. Too much. I opened the tent to have better air circulation and the temperature went down. Day 19: A bit hurts that I burnt them no nice but I also know that is is not a big problem. It will be gone as quickly as they grow. Anyways all fine part from this small beauty damage. Day 20: Now it clearly can be seen the damage that the LED lamp made because of me. Not nice, but it won't affect the growth. Well, I want to remove those leaves when the plants get matured to be nice. Next week I think I can do it. Everything else okay. Day 22: Haha I just actually removed the damaged leaves and now they look so pretty and healthy. I did not even have to wait until next week. All good nice girls there !!!!!

Sorry for the late update, everyone. Thank you for checking out the garden. This lady has absolutely exploded! I am anxious to see how her buds stack up over the coming weeks. She has been drinking and feeding so much lately that I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% nutes instead of just 50%. We will see soon how she handles them. I was getting crazy pH swings (down to 4.4) because of how heavy she had been feeding. With the tap water I have, the new nutes measure about 850-900 ppm, but tap is about 200, so ~700 ppm of actual nutes. Feel free to hit me up with any comments or questions. 11/21 - Uploaded video showing canopy density and frequency of bud-sites. This lady was only topped once. 11/22 - Uploaded new shots of canopy (48 hours after bumping ppms) Thanks for stopping by the garden, and , as always, Happy Growing!

Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Day 50. Gorillas goes by plan, Cookies is still a pain every time i see them ... Control garden will go to green house on day 54, rest of girls will get 24 hours of darkness and will be forced to flower .. Nothing good to be said, but i will try to feed them, hope nitrogen toxicity wont kick in ... Both strains are overfed very easy, cookies are overfed without food even ... ;))) Lets see .. Happy growing ! p.s. my old phones mic is broken, so put volume down while watching video ;))) Day 52. Girls were very hungry, so heavy feed and rain for them. Lights where dimed to 50% while leaves had water on them. Some Cookies started to stretch, inner node distance is huge, maybe i will have second time only in my life hermie.... Anyway, hope to switch them by day 55. This grow i cant get girls to pray, its always somthing, growing is really hard sometimes .. Good luck everyone ! Happy Easter ! Day 53. Girls sometimes looks ok, but still far ftom i have used to .. Couple more days of veg. CalMag next watering, still have some redish stemps.. Control garden will be moved to green house, too small, let them veg under natural sun, while those will finish ..

Multi strain grow did not go to the plans. A four week break at start of flower with only lights and water. So not the ideal I work to. But we have a plant alive and with nice tight buds, dense and easy to trim. Almost no side branching and very predictable stretch. For any beginners out there you have found a perfect strain here. I did not touch this, she grew herself with little help. From germination to the pictures is 60 days can you believe. Very very quick. Lots of frosty nugs! So much has changed since the low rider days with autos I can hardly believe how good they have become.

Day 100 | 03/04/2022:💧 I am back from my holiday today but I will only be able to harvest them at the end of the week, so I watered them today. but with a reduced 1L each because I still want them to be more on the dry side when I am taking them off Day 105 | 08/04/2022: Today was harvest day and the girls look sooooo dry and yellow omg.. 😅 Maybe that 1L was not enough, but still it's better that they are on the dry side. They just all went so yellow in the last few weeks, obviously they werent getting any nutrients but also I harvested them a bit late

It is day 30 and we are finally seeing some growth starting after a few days of being locked out due to what I believe is from nutrient burn. Won’t go as heavy next top dress. I have ordered a soil ph pen which will be arriving tomorrow so that I can’t test my soil ph and the run off. Until then I have ph'd the water to 6.0 to hopefully stimulate more growth before flower. These plants are very short but stacked! I can’t wait to see how big they are at pre flower. After it’s 3rd week stretch. Reach for the skies bitches! Watering less aswell. I believe iam overwatering because I go days without seeing these girls. Exhale c02 bag doing well. Resembles mould at the moment. I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s visited my diary. I hope to bring you great content! Always open to helpful suggestions. Stay tuned! Day 34 and we are at pre flower. See those hairs comin. Now they all gonna streeeeeetch. Drop a comment, like, or just offer me some advice. We’re all family here ✌️. Doin a little LST now that the space between the nodes are far enough for me to feel comfortable doing so. There was no where to put them no matter how slow I tried haha. Also have each girl in something that resembles the cross face chicken wing from the WWE. Little fan on fan action. It’s like the leaves were meant to stuck together. The knotches in the leaves interlock I mean. I stretch the upper fan leaf to the one directly below it. Opening up both shoots. Hope they made sense lmao.

Tag 14: Die Milky Way F1 Auto von Royal Queen Seeds bleibt etwas kompakter. Sie hat einen kräftigen, kurzen Stängel. Das 2. Blattpaar entwickelt sich schnell. Den Tropfer passt jetzt. Tag 15: Das 3. Blattpaar wird schon sichtbar. Tag 16: Das 1. und 2. Blattpaar sehen ein wenig verwachsen aus. Tag 19: Das 3. Blattpaar sieht glatter aus. Schön, dass du dir mein Diarie ansiehst. Schau wieder rein, ich freu mich drüber 👋😎
