This is my Northern Lights i got in a freebie pack quite a while ago. I planted it in my veg room for kicks as i have never been interested in growing an auto. Im lucky enough to have two tents so I use my Veg room for experiments and cloning as well. As you can see even though I germed it a week after my Blue Dream (check my diary :)) it quickly turned into this monster. SO For your pleasure I present my first Auto, lets see how she does!

📆 Week 13, 4-10 January 2024 4 January - Turned light time back 2hrs to a schedule of 14/10, and lowered light power to 50%. This will facilitate ripening by mimicking an autumn environment. 7 January - Flushed system, filled with RO water and 10ml p/gal HG FloraKleen, PH 6.2. 10 January - Turned lights off. 📑 This was the final week of flowering. It will be followed now by 3 days in darkness, giving a total of 7 days in plain RO water. This provides the proper nutrient flush and a small cannibinoid/terpene boost just prior to harvest. Which will be 13 January. She will then be followed by a 7-14 day curing process, where she’ll hang for 5-7 days until the chlorophyll has dried in the leaves, then trimmed, weighed, put into mason quart jars and burped until a RH of 62% is reached/maintained. While in this state the flower will reach its peak potency/flavor in about 30-40 days, and can last for 6-12 months. An overall interesting grow. Especially if you like the color purple. She grew rather rapidly for about 6 weeks as expected from an autoflower, then slowed down and flowered simultaniously. Buds are on the smaller side but tight. There certainly was no problem in resin development as she is quite frosty, sticky and smelly. The trichomes have purple and clear stems with milky heads, about 5-10% amber and 10%(+) clear. All white pistils have turned orange or brown. Genetics are very stable with no signs of foxtailing or hermaphroditism. The only problem I’ve had was with nutrient sensitivity in flower phase - specifically week 8. It will depend on the end product quality as to whether I will grow this strain again or not. My final update will run a few days later than usual, but will include the Harvest and Smoq review information. Yoyo 🤙🏽 I've been away for a while, but the next update of the project is coming, after some minor problems with the lamp settings, I gave the bushes a little over 2 weeks more veg to regenerate and recover, which made my veg much longer, but oh well... the selection is over was also done and only the prettiest and strongest plants remained, already 11 liters of pots, it's getting dense, so today I change the light to 12/12 and let them start blooming. Apart from that, everything is fine, the girls are nice and healthy. We have Day 2 of Week 5 from flowering. Everything looks green and nice. The Buds get every day Bigger and more and more Frosty. Wir sind in der 5. Blütewoche und alles läuft perfekt die Buds werden größer,keine Zickt rum und die zeit zur ernte Nähert sich langsam.

Start of Week 4 begins tomorrow, unfortunately I'll be out of town. I've been removing branches, but in the last 3 or so days I've stopped removal. It's time for these girls to really start stacking. ran out of potassium silicate. Will be continuing with out it for the rest of the grow. Started to notice a slight smell when leaving the door open and returning after a few minutes. This started in the last couple days

Decided to cut these now as trichs are all looking nice and milky with few ambers, buds are looking really nice, nice few tint of darker colours in there too really happy with result, hanging to dry now and will update the final week once all dry, been a great plant overall no issues and finished with some really nice looking weed hopefully smokes as nice as it looks

3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

01/19 - Cut and drying in process (Cut the down on 01/15) - 80% Amber trichomes coverage on all the clones - running dry and hang for about 6-9 days depending on how they dry - running low and slow method - temps at 63 - humidity 64%. 01/24 - The clones have dried and cut from their respective stem - Harvest week coming soon

And it looks like they didn't mind that much going to the hairdresser as they keeps on drinking the same and evolving at the same pass. They are all becoming beautiful beast ladies and im loving them all in diferent ways , so far the mor advanced one is the somango followed by the water melon followed by the no idea what it is seed and in the end e have bruce banned, im loving t he fact that they all started same time and that they all are going to finished different, this means i will be trying me second harvest plant smoking my pervious one 😝 . Not a bad week. Left unattended with nutrient feed. One got slightly over watered ,so I removed water line for a day or two to let it dry down. PH perfect nutrients really make it easy to have a low maintenance grow. Going to let them be for another week while I decided if I want to top or just tie down. Will update pictures and such as the week progresses.
