July 5th. Day 42 post flip. Wanna start by saying happy 4th of July to all my American friends and to everyone out there. Unfortunately seeing some signs of what looks like nutrient toxicity. Did a long analysis of what I’ve been giving it and determined it’s been getting a boat load of calcium but not a whole lot of magnesium. This means for this weeks tea it’s getting nothing but recharge and some epsom salts. Was going to defoliate but I’m seeing a lot of Trichomes on the fan leaves so I’m actually going to leave as is. Buds are not the largest but the amount of bud sites and their density makes up for it. The smells coming off this thing are amazing and the concentration of globular Trichomes I’m seeing under magnification has me very excited about the potency of this strain. At this point because of the burn this will be my last tea of the grow. Going to let the microbes and left over matter finish the job for the next 4-5 weeks. God bless and happy growing everyone

Pretty good growth this week. Defoliated some. Increased light intensity

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. The temp controlled fan is awesome, its easy to set what temp you like to have in the room. Right now its 28 celcius. Hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I just want to say that I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. Week 10: Buds are stacking and the frost is building! Observations: Week 10 is in the books and the girls are looking beautiful! The bud sites are really starting to fatten up and stack nicely. We are seeing some great trichome production developing on the sugar leaves, giving them a nice frosty look. Looking closely at the pistils, we have a mix right now. Many are still bright white and shooting straight out, which means the calyxes are still swelling and the plant is actively packing on weight. However, on some of the more mature colas, the pistils are just starting to darken, turn orange/brown, and curl inward. Plant Health & Nutrients: Overall, the canopy looks healthy and vigorous. The fan leaves are a very deep, rich, dark green. I did notice some very minor nutrient burn (crispy brown tips) on the edges of some leaves. It's nothing major to worry about, but it tells me the plant is right at its absolute limit for nutrients. I might dial back the feeding/EC slightly (especially the Nitrogen, given how dark the leaves are) so I don't stress her out as she finishes up flower. Next Steps: Going to keep the environment dialed in, keep an eye on those leaf tips, and just let her do her thing! The smell is really starting to come through now.

great!!! the girl gained momentum :) and started growing rapidly :) she looks healthy, maybe a little sad, due to the lack of space for roots and leaves, but I believe she will get used to it :) good luck to everyone:)

After 3 failed germinations from growerschoiceseed.com I decided to order from ILGM.com. 2nd time around decided to germinate just 1 seed and it worked out well. Started soaking seed in ph adjusted water 6.5 for 48 hours. Seed showed small cracking so I placed the seed in damp paper towel. Let that sit for another 48 hours then placed in rock wool that I had soaking in ph 6 water for 24 hours. Placed Rockwell in DWC and turned both lights on at 12". She sprouted after 2 days. No nutrient yet.

9/27 34 days old. Buds are coming on fast. This plant is in the corner of the tent and is not fully under the light. Buds are not growing as fast as the main plant. Still the plant is doing well for being so young. Fed today Fox Farm open sesame and Remo natures candy. 9/2 watered today. This plant is very oily and smells great.

Start of week 5! Plants are doing great! Still some P & K deficiencies showing, but overall the bud development is phenomenal on the blueberries and is coming along nicely on the super lemon haze. I am still feeding an extra 2 liters to the Slh, this time at full dosage of part A & B, this seems to have helped with this past week (4). The blueberry are super sticky and smell amazing!

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

Day 28: On day 21 until day 24 i switched the light schedule to 7-1 and i did not give them water at all. On day 24 i topped the soil with dr jimz organic nuts along with watering with dr jimz soup for the soil mix. i put a trellis net up however i have not actually used it yet. Also on day 24 i changed the lights back to a 6-2 schedule. I am letting them kind of do there own thing trying not to bother them much unless needed and I am however having problems with one of the plants a pic of it up top. It is growing however its just clawing the whole time and i dont know what to do or how to fix it so any advice would help because i really dont want to toss it. She started out rather slowly, and waited pretty long to get into preflower. After some patience feeding and doing foliars, she turned into a behemoth! I can’t even count the number of times I had to defol or the amount of larf I had to remove. She produced a massive amount of semi-dense, fragrant, and frosty buds. Not the craziest I’ve ever seen, but very nice for lower THC genetics. Smells of strong earth with undertones of sweet berries and skunk.

SHE IS OUT AND HUNG. After what seems like an eternity , she is finally hanging to dry. This has been a very long drawn out diary and i salute anyone still with me here.lol She smells sweet and is sticky icky when handled. Another 5 days i think before she is done and harvested finally.

I think they have finished stretching as their starting to produce bud sites, so hopefully they stay around this size as it’s the sweet spot for me, not too small but not huge trees, their still just under 1m tall.

I've been taking off all the lower shoots coming off the main stems. I don't want to lose sight of the main colas I'm focusing on. Once we're in flower I'll start leaving more of the side branches, at this stage none will reach the light by the end of flower. I'd rather do the hard pruning now before the switch. I'm going to keep them in veg for another week. The mainline structure is working really well.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. 2/6: Amnesia 3 is just about 6 inches tall now. Trainwreck is only a couple inches behind. Still keeping the temps between 73-82 and the humidity in the mid to low 70s. After thoroughly watering the very healthy, young tomato plant that coesxists in the tent, the tips of some of the leaves turned yellow. That makes me wonder if soaking the soil for the first time since transplant caused a bit of nutrient burn. I'm going to avoid any nutrients the first time I water Amnesia 3 and Trainwreck fully, to avoid the same potential issue. They're not looking too thirsty yet though. 2/8: Amnesia 3 is tall enough and has a thick enough main stem to start slowly low stress training with a rubber coated gardening wire. I pre-drilled holes in my buckets for this occasion, and the wire fits well. Each day for the next week I'll gently pull the wire to slowly bend the main stem downwards, similar to how braces work on teeth: a long, slow procedure. 2/9: Woke up to Trainwreck's leaf tips pointing downwards, so I took it as a sign to go ahead and give it its first watering. I siphoned up a bit of the runoff water, and it came back at a PH of 4! That's not good; however, after researching a bit, it's likely that I could have siphoned up a pocket of low PH nutrient-filled water, making my reading way off in terms of the PH of the whole slurry of runoff. If the leaves don't bounce back, I'm going to take that as a potential sign of Nitrogen toxicity and will monitor more closely. Will probably make plans for a flush if it progresses any worse than downward leaves. Nitrogen toxicity can cause fragile, dark green leaves that point down in a shape similar to a claw, among other symptoms. 2/12: Watered Amnesia 3 for the first time since transplant. Getting taller and less bushy in some spots, so I may turn up the lights from 60 to 75% tomorrow, to see if I can increase some more growth. But before, I want to make sure this watering doesn't cause any nute burn from the soil.
