This week marked a serious shift. The main colas are swelling fast, and you can clearly see the difference compared to last week. Structure is tightening up, buds are stacking, and weight is starting to show. The side buds are finally coming in, building up volume after a slower start. I’ve cut back on the heavy PK (Boom Nutrients) and switched to Overdrive by Advanced Nutrients for the next week. The idea is to push the final stretch without overfeeding or stressing them out. What’s wild is how Medusa F1 seems to change overnight—this strain really doesn’t play around in late flower. In just the last two weeks, the visual progress has been drastic. Space is still a big question mark. Running 7 plants in a 90x90 tent is tight, but airflow and light coverage are holding up for now. The big question is whether it’ll translate to actual yield or just look impressive. So far, so good. Let’s see if these girls can fill out the tent and make it all worth it.

Week 3 – Compact but staying small She's definitely healthy, but growth is staying tight and low to the ground. Very compact structure so far, not stretching much yet. Could just be her genetics, or she's focusing on building roots before taking off above ground. No signs of stress though – nice green color, strong leaves, and new growth coming in steadily. Hoping she picks up the pace soon, but sometimes the small ones surprise you later!

Well, the outrageous stretch continues. At this point I'm not even sure I'll give this strain another shot. I *really* dislike the scraggly tall plants like this. Maybe for outdoors someone might take a shot on them. The plant on the right is still racing skywards and isn't showing me that is is slowing down. I'm going to have to start bending here. grrrrrrr. Oh well, I've given the clones I took early on to a buddy for his outdoor grow. Moving forward I have to really start thinking about more support up top. Thinking of nabbing a second net. I've got a few seeds of this strain left and I'm wondering if I should bother to hope for a different pheno or just move on to another strain.

More defoliation and nutes this week, they are seriously getting hungry now! I ordered a new 30cm honeywell ground fan and dehumidifier to quickly solve the RH issues, I don't want to risk mold or other surprises.

I turned her pot and plucked a couple of yellow shade leaves...the basic daily maintenance. 9/22- I didn't water her yesterday as she looked great and was 'praying' hard. Today she was given 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ which I gave her through her drip pan (bottom chuggin) and I also gave her pot a turn. She continues to pile on the trichomes and is taking on a exquisite purple hue to her flowers! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be around four more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! Resin production is increasing significantly, and the flowers are developing beautifully. Flowering is progressing really well, and the plant continues to look healthy and vigorous. Very happy with how things are going so far! 💚🔥

I used to grow gorilla cookies before, but then they broke it, and now it's back to the old gorilla cookies, which is excellent in every way 💪👌🤤

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

What can I say this was my largest single yield harvest to date - The BlackBerry OG from Emerald Triangle Seeds are worth growing and just be prepared to have a load of bud to trim, there are other strains that are east to trim than this one, it was laced with sugar leaves and took a while to trim up,, it was in the dry tent for 15 days, honestly I was worried and should have trusted my instinct and left it in longer, this may have made it easier to clean.. If you do not buy this stran and give it a try you are missing out!

Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

Week5 The week is over and all looks fine. Both ladies are preparing to bloom and are growing. Orange Sherbet is now 28 cm tall. Bruce Banner has caught up a lot this week and is at 25 cm. For 1 liter of water there was 0.5 ml of silicate;; 0.5 ml of Calmag;; 2 ml of BioNova BN-Zym, 2 ml of BioNova TheMissingLink;; 2 ml of BioNova Auto complete fertilizer and 1 ml of 100% organic algae juice.
