The size of the flowers seem to be a bit slower putting on weight compared to the last grow, only time will tell. Trichomes production seems to be better this time around 😃

Day 49: last day of nutrition for the fast eddy, which seems to be almost ready already. Stoppage of pk 13/14, day 49. day 50: 2 week rinse for all. ⚠️ My led lamp is a Prima Klima - LED Shuttles 6 dimmable 240W, I am very satisfied with this lamp (check out my other diaries). which I recommend, but which unfortunately is not in the list proposed on growdiaries

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * The ones remaining are MC2 MC3 and MC4, MC6 got tossed but I have a cut to run back. MC2 I have grown many of times and reversed for pollen, MC3 and 4 are new. 3 is almost done I should be chopping that one this week at some point and might be more impressive than 2 it has some serious nugs on it. 4 is also solid but taking a little longer than I would like it might be a 75-80 day finish. Next update I will have some good pics of at least 2 and 3, I am going to wait until I am ready to harvest before I bring 4 into the studio. 11/11/19 - All is good in the hood. I love comming back from a couple of days away to see how they look. I did dome defoliation last nigh. Took off some lower branches and leaves. Mostly spindly branches. They are loving the feedings. 11/12/19 - I figured out something tonight with my lighting. I think I have it too low since the plants that right under the light are getting a little bleached and are a lighter green then the plants that are not directly under the light. So I moved it up as far as it could go w/o modification. Let's see what happens. 11/13/19 - From the responses to my question that I received from the pros today, I moved the light back down to 24". 11/14/19 - Did a BUNCH of defoliation tonight. With the SOG it was hard to get under everything. I opened the tent all the way and crawled inside to see so many little stragglers. I hope they do not get shocked too much. I also posted a new vid tonight. I need to do some better lighting next time I will try my headlamp. 😀

Lower leaves died and so I needed to defoliate plants grew quite a bit in this stage and preflowering shows they are girls temp dropped outside finally and so dehumidifier is constantly running. With a nice 78 degrees 50 rh

Mandarin Squeeze sisters has been doing well. One is dominating the other which was no surprise. I changed the light schedule to 12/12 avout 4 days ago. I also did a solution change on her 2 days ago. They both are looking pretty healthy even with a light battle. All the pest are confirmed dead. As no new signs have been seen for some time. Everything is looking good at the moment. Day 141 from start and this will be the last week in flower. Buds have gotten so heavy they split the stem. So I had to repair her because of that. But it looks like i will have a great yield from this one. I have 3 clones off her doing good. I definitely am proud of her and can't wait to get her cured. Thanks everyone and I'll update some after harvest then drying.

Girls are Blooming fully now and they are starting to smell like a baby puked in the tent. just by the smell alone i can tell that this strain is the Bomb. both plants are different phenoes on is tall and skinny and the other is short and fat with huce round fat colas and the tall one has long colas they both have the same Smell like baby puke from berries and split peas OMG that smells stoney like its going to be the one hit and quit type of smoke ive been looking for . still have 4 to 5 weeks to find out for sure but it definately has that unique skunky stink to it that only the best of the best has I really really like this strain so far. it has been going great. and is now sucking up the neutrients like crazy and just finished its stretching and now its time to fill in all the branches with Huge fat ass Flowers if you ncan get a pound out of a plant this would e the one to do so . THe last week of flower im going to use ice water to get as much purple as possible so it will look as good as it smells

Week 8, Day 56, Day 12 of Flower. Well the girl is doing nicely again. All in all things are going well. I did notice a few fan leaves with a slight purpling so I will try adding a little more CaliMagic on the next feed. She is currently receiving 200ppm of CaliMagic. The last feeding was 660ppm total nutes, but 950ppm 1.9EC in the run-off so I gave her some Phed water to help clear some of the nutes building up in the media on the next feed which went down to 650ppm 1.3EC in the run-off. Thinking about doing a flush with some Florakleen, or should I wait until flush time at week 7 and 8 of flower when Trichomes are hopefully milky. All comments and suggestions welcome.

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. This one has the frost, makes me want to bust out the bubble bags and hash her out! Another that's been very simple to grow, easy feeder and not to picky on anything else. Super dense nuggies with that lovely purple hint to them, an ode to her Purple Haze lineage, with a very earthy, almost nutty aroma. Another day or so then I'll swap out the nutes for some flawless finish (10/14) and properly flush her out. I have to bet this one's gonna be an evening indulgence.
