D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress! D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm. First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process: Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip. After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure! I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire. The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip. Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet. I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.) I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot. I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then. Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book. D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl. The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

Slurricaine is starting to come back around. It was getting pretty stressed with the big light and new pot but it’s looking decent. In a few days it will be fully recovered… I’m excited to see how this one turns out

Day 36 flowering: Good afternoon growmies. This week has been a dream to watch happen , each of the plants has really put effort onto stacking the buds and getting into light positive positions. Six-shooter is the pygmy still unhappy been moved under the tsl2000 now so will get more direct light. I did a light defol on her to lose the bushiness she was showing. it is easier to see her potential now and I can work towards keeping her in productive phase. She jas some nice stacking already with very shaggy looking bud structures, should make an interesting finish. Strawberry Pie has continued to push budlets out all over the place. she does have fairly long node gaps and filling them out will be a task but i feel she will be more clumps of buds on stems than the donkey dick colas. Mexican Airline is pushing for star of the grow withbjer efforts. She has really took off now and her many many buds are starting to gain a great size for early flowering and stacking up really well too. its early days but i think she will be the plant to beat for yield... They are feeding really well and I amended the living soil this week with some charge and life-cycle. This should support life in the pots and further nute production alongside the megacrop/shogun . I am trying to find a balance using l.o.s and megacrop to keep them both actively feeding rather than the los "switching off" from the additional added. Megacrop is not a usual sodium based fertilised and is root ready as it hits the pot so shouldn't hang around in the soil like others would. I donhabe slight lead burn from the strength so will pull back on dosage a little. I do love how willing Fast buds autos are to go big ! The next weeks will be interesting to watch I hope now we are getting to the juicy bits. Who doesn't love a mid/late flowering cycle.? lol Be safe and well growmies

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.

Hey Folks, unfortunately “Olivia” didn’t make it. The seed came up and even “obstetric assistance” was in vain. But all the other ladies are doing well. I mixed in some leftover BioBizzLight and FullMix. About 10% each. Clay balls down there for about 10% as drainage. 70% is Plagron Coco. I give 25% Light. For my birthday there was a ProFan+20W for me. Every now and then you have to give yourself a gift. And I don't regret it. It provides good wind and is more economical than my old one. Hi folks, now it’s almost the end of the fourth week. Three days ago, I had to repot from a 1.5-liter container to an 11-liter fabric pot. Everything went smoothly. I was a bit nervous, but it turned out to be no problem. The roots have spread throughout the entire pot and along the edges, and they looked fresh and healthy. 🌿 She is growing very well in my opinion. Two of the lower leaves are yellow and limp, but the rest are beautifully green and juicy. Happy growing boysNgirls :)

Glass of water until taproot is out looking for water. Transplanted to paper cups with drainage holes. Covered with clear plastic cup or glass for humidity. Feeding light organic root stimulants.

Last two weeks ive been lowering down the PPM close to 0 but right now is at 842PpM And I am going to continue lowering down thru this week til closer to zero. But for the very last week I am going to apply some extra molasses and some other techniques to see what happens... Transplant is done into 10L pots! 9 pots are filled with a living soil mix, enriched with Lurpe Farmers Mix, Insect Frass, and other organic amendments The rest are in a lighter soil mix, so I can supplement them with Biobizz nutrien This run is experimental 🔬 — I want to compare how the two approaches perform.
